meanings: place of worship or cemetery
extra: as paisley comes from the textile district, i
obviously chose this name based on the colourful fabric
pattern (which is thought to represent the tree of life),
but i also like the contrast of her name also
meaning 'cemetery' as her life is so defined by death

'ANNE'

origin: hebrew
meanings: grace or, god has favoured me
extra: another name with a rather ironic double
meaning - whilst the name represents paisley's good will
and kind nature, there is also the irony of her fatefully
ill-luck - she doesn't seem favoured at all

'FAWN'

origin: english
meanings: a young deer
extra: i chose fawn because i really liked the
symbolism of it, particularly when paired with dowlas's
surname. again, there is some irony in what it represents,
and it all adds to the tragedy of paisley's past
