recently, chris has been deep in his feelings. like deep, deep. ever since he had a conversation with sinai at her birthday party a few days ago, he's had the urge to reach out to her. but unfortunately for him, he hasn't said anything just out of respect for her and the way she feels.

even though sinai's birthday party was the first time they've seen each other in a year (but if you want to be technical, it's been about a month), chris really hopes that she comes around soon because he doesn't know how much longer he can take being without her. especially now that they've opened up to each other.

now, he definitely doesn't expect her to come around anytime soon since she's always been kind of a slow burner and he doubts that it'll be any different this time around.

yes, chris does want to be respectful and understand where sinai is coming from however, he knows that it'll take a while for her to make her decision because he's been in this situation before they started dating. but he knows that it's wrong to rush her and not let her make her own decisions.

in all reality, it's her decision since chris is already dead set on what he wants—which is obviously sinai.

so, if he can't speak to her firsthandedly, why not do it indirectly to get her to speak to him first?

it's kind of like a little win for him in his eyes.
