sinai stares at elaina's message. deep down she knows that she's right. she needs to let him go and move on. she has to stop sulking over him because it's not going to benefit her in any way.

but on the other hand, she couldn't forget about chris just like that. he played such a major role in her life. he was always there when she needed him, he always respected her and cared for her, and he always gave her whatever she wanted. it takes time to forget about a person like that. a lot of time.

not only did chris play a huge role in her life, his brothers did too. nick and matt treated sinai as if she was the sister they never had. they always loved having her around, and simply just being her in presence.

when her and chris broke up, not only did she lose her favorite person, but she lost her best friends too. at the beginning of the breakup, they were there for her in the first few weeks and then all of a sudden, they just stopped talking to her and she didn't know why.

sinai felt as if it were her fault, thinking she did something wrong, thinking she hurt them. but in reality, she did absolutely nothing wrong. after sinai stopped talking to chris once they broke up, he basically forced both of his brothers to stop talking to her too.

sinai hopes that nick and matt are doing well. she wishes that she would just look at their posts and see how they're doing, but it just hurts too much knowing that she lost two of the closest people in her life.
