After their successful mating, Jin and Namjoon became inseparable. Emotional wounds from the past have healed and Jin lost his inhibition. Which is proof that with time anyone can overcome their timidity.
Namjoon’s father decided it was time to pass on his title. Namjoon might still be young, but he has trained his whole life to this. To become the head alpha of the Anjeon pack.
After Namjoon took on the role of head alpha, Jin naturally took on his role. To be the mother of the pack. Yujun was by Jin’s side and helped when needed. She was proud to step down and watched as Jin became an altruistic and compassionate luna.
Even though taking care of the pack was time-consuming, Jin and Namjoon always made sure to make time for their son. In return for their care and love, Jimin made them happy by just being himself. He was their little bundle of joy.
Jin was peacefully working in the kitchen. Cooking had became a great hobby of his. He enjoyed trying new recipes and over the years even learned how to bake.
After dinner was cooked, Jin sat it aside and started on dessert. He broke up the slabs of chocolate into smaller blocks. He then placed some ingredients into a bowl. Just when Jin was about to take the chocolate a small hand appeared and stool one of the chocolate blocks.
Jin glanced over his shoulder and spotted the little thief. While looking his mother directly in the eyes, Jimin placed the chocolate in his mouth.
“Jimin-ah! No chocolate before dinner!”
Jimin didn’t apologize but instead giggled and then ran out of the kitchen. Jin shook his head and smiled to himself. Jimin is way too adorable to be mad at.
Jimin ran to the living room. His eyes widened when a beta entered the room.
“UNCLE HOBI!” Jimin yelled and ran up to the beta.
Hoseok smiled as Jimin approach him.
“Hey Jiminie. How can uncle help you?” asked and Hoseok kneeled down to the boy’s level.
“Can Uncle take me to the pwetty flowers?”
“But we went to the flower fields three days ago.”
“That was so long ago,” said Jimin and dramatically stretched out his arms to emphasize how long ago it was.
“Alight then, I’ll ask your mother if it’s alright and then we can go.”
Jimin smiled, his smile so big that his eyes closed.
“Then let’s go!” Jimin said and took hold of Hoseok’s hand.
Jimin dragged his uncle to the kitchen.
“Oh hey Hoseok,” Jin said when Hoseok entered the kitchen.
“Hey, Jimin wants to go to the flower fields again,” said Hoseok and glanced down at the boy. Jimin nodded his head and smiled.
“No, not now. It’s almost dinner time,” said Jin making Jimin’s smile drop.
Jimin walked up to Jin and tugged on his pants. Jin stopped cooking and turned to Jimin.
“But I wanna go see pwetty flowers. Please mommy.”
Jin felt his heart melt while looking into the pleading eyes of his son. Cuter than puppy eyes. How is he supposed to say no now?
“Fine but you two better be back in 30 minutes.”
Jimin’s smile returned, and he excitedly clapped his hands.
“YEAH! Thank you, mommy!”
Jimin pulled on Jin’s arm making the tall male bend down to his level. He placed a sweet peak on Jin’s cheek before dashing out of the kitchen.
“Hey, wait for me!” said Hoseok and ran after Jimin.
Hoseok eventually caught up with Jimin and then hand in hand they walked through the village. On the east side of the village laid Jimin’s favorite comfort place.
The vibrant display of flowers covered meters of ground. Bold purple…soft pink…bright orange flowers thriving in beauty, lightly danced with the breeze. The sweet smell of blossom filled the air. The field of flowers had all qualities that delight and please the senses.
Hoseok sat down on the hill and watched Jimin run into the field. Not only for Jimin but also for Hoseok this was an opportunity for leisure. In the tranquil ambiance, Hoseok found great relaxation. Hoseok watched as Jimin played in the field, making sure the little one is safe.
Hoseok frowned when a small boy’s head poped out from behind a bush. The boy started sneaking up on Jimin, who was unaware of his presence. Hoseok was about to get up but then relaxed when he recognized the boy.
Jimin stopped running when he got a whiff of a familiar scent. A delightful mix of white musk, intoxicating benzoin and addictive caramel, set on a sweet-and-spicy stage of patchouli and vanilla. The scent was wild and mischief at once.
The boy tiptoed up to Jimin, ready to scare him. The next second, Jimin turned around and jumped on him. The boy gasped when he was suddenly dragged to the ground. The two boys giggled while they rolled down the hill. Little vibrant flowers flew up in the air.
They came to a stop, the boy laid on top of Jimin. They smiled at each other. A fine powdery substance, pollen, sat down on them. The boy’s smile dropped, and he froze for a second until-
“ACHOO!!”
The sneeze was so powerful, the boy fell off Jimin, landing on the ground. Jimin burst out laughing and soon his friend joined.
The two got up and dusted off their clothes. Just then the boy noticed Hoseok sitting on the hill.
“HELLO UNCLE HOBI!” yelled the boy and waved.
“HEY TAETAE!” Hoseok yelled and waved back.
Taehyung and Jimin played together for a bit. Running and goofing around.
“Jimin-sii look,” said Taehyung and pointed at a flower.
Jimin gasped and went to the gorgeous flower. He kneeled and carefully picked it out of the ground. He added the flower to the bunch of flowers in his other hand.
Jimin continued picking flowers until a howl echoed through the village. It was an announcement. Jimin’s eyes sparkled with excitement as this could only mean one thing.
Another person who was glad to hear the howl was Hoseok. He stood up and went to Jimin. They said goodbye to Taehyung and then headed to the south side of the village.
They walked down the hill and stopped in front of the entrance of the cave. There were wolves exiting the cave, welcomed by their mates and other family members.
A dark grey wolf approached Hoseok. The wolf changed to his human form. Yoongi and Hoseok smiled before connecting their lips, sharing a passionate kiss.
Jimin smiled seeing the big black wolf with the dark-brown highlights. The wolf approached Jimin and then transformed into his human form.
“DADA!”
Jimin jumped into his father’s arms. Namjoon lifted him up and placed him on his hip.
“Hello, my dear. Oh, these are some pretty flowers you have here.”
“They are for you, Dada.”
Jimin handed the flowers to his father. Namjoon’s dimples appeared as he smiled.
All the way to the main packhouse, Jimin talked about his adventures and Namjoon listened to every word with a smile plastered on his face.
When they entered the house Namjoon put Jimin down. He ran to the kitchen to put the flowers in some water. Before Namjoon could take another step, he was pulled to the side. Jin contacted their lips and Namjoon kissed back. They soon ran out of air and had to break the kiss.
“Wow, I missed you too,” said Namjoon making Jin blush.
“How was the hunt?” asked Jin trying to hide his shyness by changing the subject.
“It was good. We only came across two rogues this time.”
“Glad to hear that. Any injuries?”
“Nope, all good,” said Namjoon and gave Jin a peck on the cheek.
Jin and Namjoon went to the dining room. They were joined by the others, and they enjoyed their meal together.
