After escaping the Maze, Florence and the remaining survivors find themselves in front of a new set of challenges; including the Scorch. With help from new friends, the Gladers have to escape WCKD's clutches once again, this time in a world crawling with virus-infected Cranks. How many more friends will be lost? And what will Florence learn about herself?

The Scorch Trials is where the movies and the books wildly differ from each other. Because I know the movie plot better than the books, I'm going to be following the films only from this point.
