It was the month of December, and it was freezing cold outside. The streets were all covered with snow and the wind was chilly which felt like a bite as it touched your skin, and in this chilly weather Huening Kai found a freezing omega Kang Taehyun.

Huening Kai, a newly presented Alpha, was taking a stroll outside because he was a Siberian Husky hybrid, meaning he loved the snow. And that's how he found a small and lean omega freezing to death in the park.

Kai was walking to the park when he noticed a mop of black hair under the dome which is made for kids to play and hide.

"What's that?" Curiosity kills the cat, so Kai is no exception. He moved towards the sight and when he bent down to look inside, he found a person curled up into a ball shivering from cold. The person seemed to be a Cat hybrid as Kai could see his white and black ears almost having a frost-bite. The poor boy was wearing nothing but a ragged hoodie and some shorts.

"Why is he here like this?" Kai worried about the condition of the boy. He tapped his shoulders to see if the boy would react but he did nothing. He must be unconscious.

"I can't just leave him here to freeze to death..but what about the others..?" Kai was contemplating if he should take this boy to his house which he shared with three other Hybrids who are his boyfriends too.

"I'll see what happens, I can't leave him here." Kai finally decided to take the boy home. He tapped him again to see if he would wake up, but when he didn't, he picked him up in his arms. The boy barely weighed anything, he was as light as a feather and he looked malnourished. He could feel his bones through his hoodie. What happened to this boy?

As Kai lifted the boy, he felt him tighten his grip around his body, probably to feel some warmth. The Alpha started walking to his home, hoping his hyungs won't kill him for doing this. He will probably tell Beomgyu first. The beta adores Kai, and is very soft-hearted, just like Kai. Even though Kai is an alpha, he's quite soft and kind, which makes others question his status sometimes, but his psychique says otherwise.

Kai soon reached their house as it wasn't too far from the park, and opened the door feeling the warm temperature greet him. He slowly trudged inside, trying not to catch anyone's attention and he was successful in doing that.

He quietly walked towards his and Beomgyu's shared room, knocking on the door.
"Beomie hyung, are you in?" He asked in a soft voice as the omega in his arms seemed to have stopped shivering by now.

"Yes Hyuka, come in." Kai heard Beomgyu's sweet voice call him inside, so he took a deep breath and opened the door, dragging his feet inside.

Beomgyu looked up at his younger boyfriend, then his eyes widened in surprise when he saw something, more like someone in his arms.

"Hyuka? Who is that?" Beomgyu got up from the bed and walked towards Kai, confusion written all over his face.

"Shhh, don't tell anyone yet please Hyung! I found him freezing to death in the park, he looks like an omega cat hybrid. I couldn't just leave him there like that!" Kai said in a quiet voice.

"But Kai we can't just bring anyone to our house like that! We don't even know who he is." Beomgyu said, flabbergasted. Kai expected this reaction.

"But Hyung, look at him. He looks so weak and vulnerable. He's just wearing a hoodie and shorts in that icy cold weather. Something is clearly wrong here." Kai tried to explain.

"But Kai, that's none of our business or concern." Beomgyu said with a sigh, he also felt bad for the poor boy, but it's just not right, okay?

"Hyunggggg!" Kai whined, giving Beomgyu his best puppy eyes, knowing he can't resist them.

"Fine, let's bring him inside our room." Beomgyu sighed in defeat. The young alpha was too cute.

"What if he has an owner? Won't they be searching for him?" Beomgyu assumed.

"I don't think so hyung. His body condition tells otherwise. He feels so lightweight and see how he looks. Who treats their hybrid like this?" Kai said, looking at the sleeping hybrid in his arms.

"Yeah you're right maybe. Let's hope we get some information after he wakes up." Beomgyu said with a sigh.

Kai laid the cat Hybrid on their shared bed and covered him with a blanket to keep him warm, and they started discussing what to do once they hybrid woke up.

Kai and Beomgyu got so distracted with talking, they failed to notice the Omega waking up.

Taehyun opened his eyes, slowly adjusting to the bright surroundings. He blinked a few times to register where he was. He wasn't cold anymore, he found himself wrapped up in a blanket.

"Huh? What's this? Where am I?" Taehyun thought and started looking around, and his eyes landed on the two strangers in front of him.

"Am I kidnapped?"
Fear started flowing in Taehyun's veins and he started to look around in alarm, not knowing what to do.

Beomgyu noticed the Omega woke up.

"Hey you woke up!" Beomgyu tried to approach the hybrid only to get a snarl in return.
Taehyun cornered himself into the side of the bed, covering himself with the blanket. He was afraid, his heart beating miles per second, thinking about what these people could do to him. Tears started welling up in his eyes and his ears flattened, as he started to cry and yell hysterically.

Beomgyu and Kai started panicking. Why was the Hybrid crying?

"Hey hey, why are you crying? What happened?" Kai asked Taehyun softly, worried sick about why the boy in front of him was reacting this way.

Taehyun backed away, crying more as he thought the other was going to hurt him. Kai tried to reach out his hand but he flinched very badly, closing his eyes and whimpering.

Kai immediately backed away, seeing the boy's distress. He didn't know what to do.

"Hey, we're not going to hurt you, please calm down." Kai said softly, quickly releasing calming pheromones to soothe the distressed Omega and it seemed to work, as Taehyun calmed down. His cries died down to sobs and now he was looking at Kai and Beomgyu with his big cat eyes.

"Don't be scared, we're not going to hurt you. Kai brought you here." Beomgyu said, pointing at the Dog hybrid, who smiled and nodded at Taehyun.

Taehyun was now feeling a bit calm after being surrounded by Kai's calming pheromones. The smell of Cinnamon and Dark Chocolate clouding his mind. He remembers this scent. He felt this smell when he was losing consciousness. Now he remembered everything.

He was out in the park cold, and somehow this guy named "Huening Kai" brought him here to this new place. His fear was still here, but he was calm now, trying to understand his situation.

Then he remembered. His father. He must be searching for him, if he manages to find out he ran away he will punish him again, worse he will kill him, he's gonna die and he won't see the sun ever again, he's gonna-

"Hey hey, calm down what happened kitty?"
Taehyun heard Kai's voice. Kitty? Was he calling him Kitty? The name made him feel a bit shy, but that helped him get distracted from his train of negative thoughts.

He was looking at the Alpha in front of him, and he somehow felt a bit more comfortable with him. Most Alphas he's seen were very aggressive and angry, but this one was so soft and warm, and he didn't give him the sense of fight or flight like his father. The other one beside him, he didn't hear his name. The cute Alpha was calling him hyung so he must be older. He seemed like a Beta. Taehyuh hasn't met any Betas till now. He didn't seem harmful, but you should never let your guards down. Taehyun learnt it the hard way.

He was watching the two with big curious eyes, wondering what they were gonna do next. He expected they're gonna throw him out after seeing how useless he is and how he can't speak.

"Kitty? Are you listening to us?" Kai's voice pulled him out of his inner turmoil once again. He looked up at him, tilting his head.

"What's your name?" The beta asked. Taehyun didn't know how to reply to that. How would he reply when he was scared to speak? When he lost that ability years ago?

He just kept looking at them, saying nothing.

"Maybe he can't speak? Do you not have the ability to talk Kitty?" Kai asked in a gentle voice.

Taehyun nodded his head in response which made Kai and Beomgyu surprised. Now it made sense about why the hybrid hasn't said a word since he woke up. He's mute.

"It's alright Kitty, can you maybe tell us some things by nodding as Yes or No?" Beomgyu was the one who asked now. Taehyun nodded in response.

"Do you have a house or an owner?" Beomgyu asked carefully in a soft voice, trying not to scare the already scared Omega more.

Taehyun nodded Yes.

"Okay, do you want to go back?" Beomgyu asked again.

Taehyun thought about it. Does he want to go back? Definitely not. He would do anything to never go back again in that hellhole. He's ready to stay here with these strangers, he's ready to be their slave if they order him to, but no way in hell he will go back to that place. Not after he managed to escape that place after all these years.

So Taehyun nodded his head as no.

"He doesn't want to go back? What should we do with him?" Beomgyu asked, looking at Kai.

"Can't we keep him with us?" Kai said.

"Keep who with us?"

Shit.

Hii Luvs! As you can see, our Kitty is being published as a separate book, because it's getting longer than I want it to. I'm posting from chapter one here!
