The Crew at Warpower

(Remember to Vote and Comment as it Does a Lot for Motivation Seeing That You're Reading)

Victor allowed his emotions to pour out, holding onto Superman seemed to be the only thing grounding him at that very moment. The rest of the team, looked on in shock and disappointment. Their gamble to resurrect Superman had only caused more harm than good. Arthur looked down, while he did not know what it was like to lose a parent, he had some understanding. Barry too felt guilty, as he knew more than anyone of that feeling of guilt and anger that swallows a person up from within like a black hole taking all emotions and turning them into despair.

Victor separated from Y/N, and wandered aimlessly towards the machine that killed his father, tears staining the metal floor beneath him as he looked down.

"His father's dead 'cause of us" Arthur was the first to speak up, drawing the attention of Y/N, Diana and Barry. Distain and hate clear in his voice. "I told you waking that box was a bad idea!"

"It was not a bad idea, we needed help, we needed Clark, and we still do" Y/N said, while he was talking to Arthur, his eyes remained fixated on Victor as he walked around the laser machine. The half man, half machine seemingly deep in thought and emotion.

"Well, whatever returned? It isn't your precious Clark" Arthur spat out, feeling guilt wallow up in his brain. "His body and powers, maybe. But it ain't him" he finished.

"It is him" the voice of Bruce cut off, emerging from the smoke of the destroyed entrance drawing the attention of the team. Being the only non-superpowered member of the team, it would take him longer to arrive. "He recognised Lois Lane" he declared, causing Y/N to think back. Clark almost recognised him too, Clark almost came back, but Lois was the one to break him out of the Mother Boxes grip.

"Who?" Arthur asked with narrowed eyebrows.

"The woman he loves" Diana answered looking over at Arthur who had walked over to Bruce. "He remembers her" she added.

"Nah" was all Arthur responded with, turning around to look at Diana and Y/N. "He went to her 'cause she wasn't afraid of him, it's called instinct Diana" Arthur spat back.

"Enough" Y/N said loudly, his voice booming across the room with an echo. "What's done is done, and we need a plan" he said, nodding at Bruce hoping the Batman would have something up his sleeve.

"Wait, where did Steppenwolf go?" Barry asked, looking to where the alien had vanished from.

"He's gone back to his base, to assemble the three boxes" Diana answered.

"And we don't know where his base is, or how long until--" Arthur started but was cut off by Bruce who finished the thought.

"Hours. Boxes synchronize, Unity forms, we don't get there in time to stop it, the planet dies" he finished, a sense of dread airing across the room as it slowly dawned that there was no plan, no hope at them winning this conflict.

"This is not your..." Victor began, his cybernetic brain buzzing and working, his limbs twitched as his head spun around and looked at the laser clearly, the fog of confusion fading as his fathers actions became clearer and clearer. "Oh he knew. He knew, he knew, he knew, he knew!" he repeated like a mad man as he looked towards the team who looked upon their ally with concern. " He wasn't trying to destroy the box, he- he was- he was trying to superheat it!" Victor revealed the dominos falling into place. "He made the core the hottest things on earth outside of a nuclear reactor! Anything that hot would have to--" before Victor could finish his revelation Bruce once again finished the sentence.

"--blink off the charts on a thermal imaging system. Your father sacrificed himself to mark that box" he revealed, in his final moments Silas Stone had given them a fighting chance. "We have to get back to my lab and use the satellite to scan the earth for thermal anomalies" Bruce said as Victor began to walk forward towards the exit.

"I'm already on it" he said said in response.

"I'm sorry, you have a satellite?" Barry asked, confused at how someone could be so rich.

"I have six" was all the billionaire responded with a slight smirk.

"Riiiiiight"

"Let's go find this son of a bitch" Victor said harshly, looking to each team member who nodded back with determination.

The team had decided to regroup, somewhere safe, somewhere where they could catch their breath. Bruce's Batcave seemed like the best bet, the journey there had been different to say the least. before entering the Cave each member met up close by. This caused Y/N, Barry and Victor having to wait on the other three members of the team, the members who couldn't fly or didn't have super speed. But nonetheless all team members descended down into the Batcave at the same time in the elevator. Barry being the youngest of the team, was the most caught off guard by the sight of the Cave.

"WOW!" he said as he laid eyes on all of the advanced technology and the architecture. "This is AWESOME!" he yelled, catching the attention of Alfred who was bus at a nearby computer working on repairs to the Knightcrawler.

"I brought some friends" Bruce said to his father figure as he stepped off the elevator followed by each member of the team one by one.

"Oh, gosh, yes! Yes!" Barry said, pumping his arms in excitement as he was the last one to step off the elevator too caught up in the sight.

"Everyone, this is Alfred, I work for him" Bruce introduced, placing a hand on the butlers shoulder.

"Alfred" Diana smiled as she walked past.

"Good day m'am" he replied.

"Mr Pennyworth, always nice to see you" Y/N smiled as he followed Diana.

Victor said nothing, not even paying Alfred notice as he walked by him to which the Brit simple said. "Oh.." taking in the sight of the full cyborg he had only seen in images and videos beforehand. Barry was next, and gave a very awkward wave at the butler who replied with his own awkward wave, both not even making eye contact due to the awkwardness.

Finally Arthur walked past, and simply stated, "It's badass, Alfred".

"Well. I'll put on the tea" Alfred said, getting a good look at this World's Finest heroes assembled here in the cave. "I dunno where we're gonna find the cups" he whispered to his friend, never having this many guests in the house at one.

The team quickly gathered around a large amount of monitors that displayed all gathered data thus far. The satellite pinpointed the position of the Mother Box, in Eastern Europe in Russia far away from any civilisation, Steppenwolf had chosen this as an ideal position. No one around for miles, he remained completely off the radar. "There's the Mother Box, right there" he said as the satellite zoomed in further and brought out a full map of the small village where Steppenwolf had set up shop.

"Go to visible spectrum?" Diana asked as she leant forward reading over the data of the Batcomputer had. Before Bruce could press down on the key, Victor simply swiped his eyes to the left and did it, earning a small look from the Bat of Gotham.

"Pozharnov" Diana spoke out, revealing the name of the village. "host city not far from Moscow. It's been abandoned since the nuclear accident there 30 years ago".

"Not in the even army goes in" Victor cut in.

"Right" Barry sighed out, rolling his arms. "It's probably so radioactive that you grow an extra foot out of your neck" waving his arms around trying to showcase exactly what he meant.

"Not anymore" Victor voiced as he looked over the data on another monitor. "He's harvesting the radiation to build his base" he revealled as the satellite could make out some structure that had been newly created around the abandoned nuclear factory.

"Zoom in" Y/N said as he crossed his arms over the Symbol of the House of El.

"What the hell is he building?" Arthur asked as the structure became clearer and clearer. Whatever the alien tyrant had created, it was big, many levels expanding upon what was already there. Parademon manned turrets adorned the outside covering every possible form of entrance, they had created a full alien fortress here on Earth.

"The Unity's in there" Victor stated as he stepped forward.

"We'll attack from above" Bruce began.

"All of us, together" Y/N finished as he looked to the Dark Knight who seemed less sure of himself.

"Explosives won't separate the boxes, only strengthen their bond" Diana said, placing her hands on her hips as she tried to think of a strategy.

"What, so we can't blow it up?" Barry asked as he was slightly lost at the conversation surrounding the Boxes, even with his intelligence Barry still needed to work on his people skills.

"Not from the outside," Victor stated, taking a sharp breath as an image of one of the Mother Boxes appeared on one of the screens. His eyes were intense, filled with a mix of determination and fear. "I wanna plug into The Unity, one-on-one. Fuse with it," he continued, his words taking the team aback with his bold proposal. "Weaken its bond from the inside so we can break it back into three."

"No," Y/N responded quickly, his voice edged with concern as he turned his whole body to face Victor. His eyes darted around the room, seeking support from the other members. "We don't even know what you'd be up against," he started, his tone pleading as he looked to each member for some form of support. "These Boxes destroy worlds, alien technology not even I've seen before. There has to be another way," he tried to reason, his voice growing more desperate.

"There isn't," Victor responded firmly, his gaze shifting from Y/N to the many monitors that surrounded them. "Just get me in and give me time," he added, his tone resolute.

"You could die, Victor," Diana interjected, her voice filled with concern as she stepped closer to him, her eyes searching his for any sign of hesitation.

"If I don't, we all die. Period!" Victor spat back, his words cutting through the room like a knife. A tense silence filled the Batcave as the team absorbed the gravity of the situation. Victor's shoulders tensed, his fists clenched at his sides. He knew the risk he was taking. "I got nothing left," Victor half-shouted, his voice echoing through the cave, even frightening some of the bats that flew around. "You wanted me to use these gifts, right? That's what I'm gonna do."

"Okay, so..." Barry spoke out, his voice breaking the silence as he drew the attention of the rest of the team. "If Victor wants to save the world by fusing with the doom boxes, I say we put him in the doom boxes. But getting him in means attacking that base," he said, his voice gaining strength as he vocalized the thoughts of the team. Each one slowly settled on the plan, the reality of their mission sinking in.

"We're fighting the devil and his armies in hell," Arthur scoffed as he looked at the screens, then to the de facto leader of the group, Bruce.

"We've already faced one devil," Y/N said, thinking back to the battle he, Clark, Bruce, and Diana had against Doomsday. "What's one more added to the count?" he asked with a determined smile, doing his best to instill hope into the team.

"I mean, this," Barry stuttered over his own words as he took a breath and composed himself. "This guy's probably fought hundreds of thousands of other super-beings on the other planets he's destroyed, right? And we have to assume he's won," the young man said, his voice tinged with a mix of awe and fear.

Bruce looked down at the table in front of him, taking a deep breath before he began to speak. "I don't care how many demons he's fought in how many hells. He's never fought us." His voice was calm, but filled with unwavering determination.

"Not us united," he finished, his eyes meeting each member of the team, conveying a sense of unity and resolve that bolstered their courage for the battle ahead.

He stated, looking to Arthur receiving a nod of approval from the half Atlantean who looked to Diana with a nod of his own signalling that he was ready for this fight. Diana then looked to Y/N who was close to her, both nodding at one another as they too were ready for this. Finally Y/N looked back to Victor with cancer, he was afraid for the former quarter back.

The team took some time to ready themselves, do whatever rituals or battle prep that needed to be done. Bruce needed to change into a more, armoured tactical Batsuit and Barry needed to patch up his suit.

Y/N and Diana were off in their own corner of the Batcave, exchanging small talk as a way to mask their nervousness and growing fear at the battle that was soon to come.

"Y/N," Diana began, her voice steady and calming, "are you alright?"

Y/N sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I just can't stop wondering where Clark is. We brought him back, and he just... flew away with Lois. We could really use him right now."

Diana placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "He'll show. Clark has always been a symbol of hope. He won't abandon us."

Y/N nodded, though his worry didn't entirely dissipate. Seeking to change the subject, Diana offered a small smile. "You know, I used to be able to fly."

Y/N's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? I didn't know that. Why can't you anymore?"

Diana's expression turned contemplative, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "When I shut myself off from the world, my powers slowly regressed. It was as if my connection to them weakened over time."

Y/N frowned, his brows knitting together. "That's hard to imagine. Flying, for me, is like flexing a muscle. Once you know how, it's hard to forget."

Diana chuckled softly. "Perhaps. But it's been a long time since I tried."

Y/N's face lit up with a mischievous grin. "Well, maybe I could give you some flying lessons. What do you say?"

Diana laughed, a sound that momentarily lifted the heavy mood in the Batcave. "Flying lessons, huh? I might take you up on that offer, Y/N" she smiled at him, a smile that stirred within him. A smile that ensured everything was going to be okay.

He smirked, a spark of camaraderie in his eyes. "Anytime, Diana. Anytime."

Y/N looked over, seeing that Barry and Arthur were talking, getting to know one another. But more importantly, he saw Victor. The young man was deep in thought, opening and closing holograms of something. Y/N wanted to go over and talk to Victor, ensure he was okay. But Y/N knew better than anyone, after such a traumatic event, you just needed time.

Both Y/N and Diana then noticed Bruce renter the Batcave, dressed his new, more tactical adept Batsuit that was more silver grey than black like his previous suits. There were even goggles near the cowl, further putting emphasis on the battle readiness of the suit. But as he sat down at the Batcomputer, he gaze remained fixated at Barry Allen. His eyes narrowing at the speedster as said meta human made some goofy gesture with his hands.

Y/N noticed this look and walked over to the Wayne. "Bruce?" he spoke, but this didn't seem to cut through. It was only when he put his hand on the humans shoulder did Bruce shake off his starring and look at the Kryptonian and Amazon. "Everything okay?"

"Nothing, it's uhhhh" Bruce said, looking at the two, and then back to Barry Allen. " I had a dream. Like a-- I don't know, almost like a premonition" he said, his face wailing slightly as memories of that dead world flooded his head. A world ruled by Clark, a dark world where there was no hope. His voice cold, as he remembered that is was this very vision that lead him feeling responsible for the Death of Superman. " It was the end of the world. Barry Allen was right here, and he said to me, 'Lois Lane is the key'" he said, eyes still fixated on Barry Allen.

"She is. To Clark. Every heart has one" Diana said, looking down at Bruce with concern.

"It wasn't just that" Bruce confessed to the two, looking over at another desk where he believed the premonition took place. "Barry Allen, he was like, in flux, every time I blinked he changed" Bruce added as his mind flashed back to the look Barry first had. One armoured look, sprung together with metal and screws in a post apocalyptic world.

Next he remembered Barry in another suit, more streamlined, more clean cut. Trying to pull himself through the timeline that was in flux and warn Bruce of whatever danger was to come.

(Just picture Dylan O'Brien in this and the next gif)

Finally, the final look flashed before his eyes. A very strange look, one of Barry in an almost fabric costume, a costume that was inspired by a hero of old. A flat metal helmet on his head with golden wings either side, still warning Barry of what was to come. A suit made to honour a spenders from histories past.

Whatever Barry looked like, he gave the same warning. The warning to fear Superman, the timelines all converging to give the same warning, to ensure Bruce feared the Supermen. No matter what the future may bring, somethings will never change, and it seemed that no matter the future was, a version of Barry, whether it be from this timeline, a timeline in flux in a timeline that will never be, Bruce will always be warned of Superman, stoking there fires of fear and hatred within his soul.

"But whatever the warning was, I think it's something more. Something darker" Bruce warned, both Y/N and Diana looking at one another with dread and despair as whatever this thing could be that was coming for the planet.

Before they could inquire further into this, Alfred called out from behind his own desk. "Master Wayne" he said, drawing the attention of the Trinity that was Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. All looking in the direction of the faithful butler. "Master Wayne! You need to see this!" he said, stepping away from his desk with a smile of glee.

The team all gathered around a pad as it slowly began to rise, above them two panels in the large lake next to the Wayne house slowly began to part as water flowed into pools where the liquid would be collected and redistributed into the lake, above them two shining lights briefly blinded the humans of the group. As the Flying Fox slowly roared to life and landed in front of the team as they looked on with awe as the platform rose to an optimum level where the team could board.

"You fixed it" Bruce said out loud, speaking to Victor as the ramp of the Flying Fox lowered.

"It wanted to fly, flight is its nature" Victor responded with a small smile, gently rolling his shoulders as this was what he was working on. Something to keep his mind busy.

"Yours too" Bruce said with a smile, knowing that he had made even a small difference now. The team all began to walk into the Flying Fox even Y/N. He could get there faster, but he would not be able to beat Steppenwolf, not alone.

"He'll be here Alfred, I know it" the Batman spoke out as he too soon walked aboard the Flying Fox.

"What makes you so sure?" the butler asked, unsure of where his son got this new found hope after years of doubt, depression and a spiral into darkness.

"Faith Alfred" Bruce answered, turning around and out stretching his arms as he walked backwards into the Flying Fox, smiling. For the first time, in a long time, Bruce Wayne had regained his faith in humanity, what was once a wayward soul, losing his one and only son, looking into the abyss and preparing to blink. Was now a man, a Batman, who was ready for redemption, finding redemption in his self through his work to bring together the Earth's Mightiest Heroes. "Faith" he said one more time, walking into the Flying Fox to join his team. The Flying Fox then closed its ramp, and flew around the lake, and then roared its engines to life as it took off at speeds pilots could only dream of.

But as the team made their to Russia. the ticking clock had began to countdown. The Doomsday Clock was about to hit midnight as Steppenwolf finally synchronised the three Mother Boxes. The three separate sources of vast energy joint into one, and sent an invisible shockwave throughout the world felt by many forces. Hippolyta in her palace on the island of Themyscira looked up into the sky and feeling a dark shiver run down her spy. Deep in the oceans of the seas, Vulko looked up towards the surface in fear, feeling as if something dreaded was coming for the oceans. Deep in the magical void, Kent Nelson leant against a wall for support, feeling his strength fading as this powerful wave wash over him.

Arthur was nearby, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, staring out of the small window at the passing clouds. Y/N, seizing the opportunity to bond, walked over and sat down next to him.

"Mind if I join you?" Y/N asked, looking up at the towering figure of Arthur.

Arthur shrugged, a smirk playing on his lips. "Sure, why not? Could use some company."

Y/N leaned back, trying to find a comfortable position. "You know, we haven't had much of a chance to talk, just the two of us."

Arthur glanced at him, his piercing eyes curious. "Yeah, it's been a bit of a whirlwind, hasn't it? You adjusting alright to all this?"

Y/N chuckled. "As much as anyone can, I guess. It's a lot to take in—being the second Superman and all. Big shoes to fill."

Arthur nodded, his expression softening slightly. "The first one did set a high bar, no doubt. But from what I've seen, you're doing alright."

"Thanks, Arthur. That means a lot coming from you," Y/N replied sincerely.

Arthur grinned, his typical bravado evident. "Don't let it go to your head, man. We're all just trying to do our part."

Y/N laughed, the tension easing a bit. "Speaking of doing our part, how do you handle it? Bruce tells me you talk to fish, so must be a huge responsibility balancing two lives one under water one above?" Y/N asked with an innocent smile, not knowing his was slightly angering Arthur.

Arthur's face grew thoughtful. "First off, I don't talk to fish, I kinda, communicate" he tried to say, waving his arms awkwardly as he did his best to hold in anger. "But I do my best to help out with the surface world and the ocean when I can. Think I even saved Clark once from a burning oil rig?" he asked himself, looking down in thought. "Whatever, was a little drunk them, point is. Do what feels right" he said, getting to what he was trying to save from the beginning.

Y/N nodded appreciatively. "That sounds like good advice. I'll have to remember that."

Arthur clapped Y/N on the shoulder, his grip strong and reassuring. "You'll do fine, Y/N. Just keep your head on straight and trust your instincts."

Y/N smiled, feeling a newfound camaraderie with the Atlantean. "Thanks, Arthur. I appreciate it."

Arthur leaned back, a relaxed grin on his face. "Anytime, bro. Now let's go kick some ass and save the world."

The two shared a laugh, the sound a brief respite from the looming battle. Soon the team gathered around as Victor created a projection of what the battlefield would look like, each member looking the yellow projection with stern faces.

"The satellites revealed he's created a defensive dome" Victor explained as a large orange dome then covered a large portion of the town.

"It's a design flaw, take out the tower, the dome will fall" Bruce cut in, the hologram then showcased the tower falling and the defensive dome deactivating and then zoomed into the central stack of the long dead power plants, showing what Victor believed the interior looked like and where the Unity would be. "The enemy never anticipated a frontal assault".

"Right" Barry said. "Probably because he didn't think anyone would be that nuts" he joked, looking around hoping someone else would laugh at his joke attempting to lighten the mood. Y/N shot the speedster a small smile, hoping it would make him feel better.

"Bruce is right" Victor agreed with the Bat. "We've got to destroy the defensive dome so we can reach The Unity before it synchronizes" he said, zooming his hologram in and focusing on the Unity itself. Three Mother Boxes all joint together, all twisting and turning attempting to become one singular Box, one singular planet ending power source.

"What if the dome's not destroyed?" Arthur asked, crossing his arms exhaling sharply through his nose.

"It'll be destroyed" was all the Dark Knight had to say on the matter.

"Once Victor is linked with The Unity,  with Barry's help, he'll break through The Unity's defenses" Diana said, looking to her left at the speedster who looked around nervously.

"Remind me, how's that again?" Arthur asked.

"Uhhhh, with the Power of Love?" the speedster replied, joking once again.

"Barry" was all Victor had to say.

"With a catastrophic energy surge" he quickly corrected.

"Good"

"You'll need to run in a continuous loop, encircling the city faster than you've ever gone before to generate a charge of such magnitude" Y/N said looking at the speedster through the hologram. "When you've built up the charge and Victor is plugged in, you'll make the physical connection and channel the charge into Victor. Which should, theoretically, be enough to inject Victor into the Unity" the Kryptonian added, taking Bruce by surprise by how much he had put together. "I took a military strategist course in the Military Guild" he quickly said the Dark Knight. "But Victor, at that point, we put all of our faith in you, you'll need to take the Unity apart from the inside before it synchronises" he finished, exhaling through his nose.

"We finally, actually have a plan" Barry said as the hologram dissipated and the team were left in slight darkness.

"We have a plan" Bruce repeated, each member ready for the fight that was to come. A few minutes passed, and Y/N knew he had to keep himself occupied, Bruce was in the cockpit and out of the corner of his way he saw Barry preparing. He was doing some weird yoga stretches, but even then he looked tense, nervous, so Y/N decided to go over, and comfort the youngest member of the team.

"Hey, Barry," Y/N called out as he approached the speedsters little corner of the aircraft. "Mind if I join you?"

Barry looked up, a bright smile on his face despite the anxiety in his eyes. "Sure, Y/N. I could use some company."

Y/N settled down next to him, watching as Barry's hands moved with blinding speed, adjusting wires along his homemade suit, making sure everything was in place. "You've got quite a talent there."

Barry chuckled nervously. "Yeah, well, I've had a lot of practice. Keeps me busy, you know?"

Y/N nodded, sensing there was more on Barry's mind. "You always seem to be moving, doing something. From what Bruce has said, you work like seven jobs and still found time to finish school. I gotta ask, why?" he said blatantly. He wanted to know more about Barry, much like Arthur he hadn't had much time to chat with him.

Barry's hands paused for a moment, his expression growing serious. He took a deep breath before speaking. "It's my dad. He's in prison for killing my mom, but he didn't do it" he quickly corrected himself nervously catching Y/N slightly off guard with the quick volume change in his voice. "I know he's innocent. Everything I do, all this stuff... it's to prove his innocence. To get him out."

Y/N felt a pang of empathy for the young hero. "That's a heavy burden to carry. But it's good that you have something that motivates you, something that gives you purpose."

Barry looked at Y/N, his eyes searching for understanding. "It's hard sometimes. I just... I miss him. I want to make things right."

Y/N placed a comforting hand on Barry's shoulder. "I get it, Barry. I lost my mother when I was young, back on Krypton. I know what it's like to lose someone you love and to want to make them proud."

Barry's eyes widened in surprise. "You lost your mother too? I had no idea."

Y/N nodded, his expression softening with the memory. "Yeah. It's a pain that never really goes away, but it can fuel you. It can make you stronger."

Barry looked down, his voice barely a whisper. "Do you ever feel like... you're not doing enough?"

Y/N squeezed Barry's shoulder reassuringly. "All the time" he smiled. "But what matters is that we keep trying. We keep pushing forward, for them and for ourselves."

Barry looked up, a renewed determination in his eyes. "Thanks, Y/N. I needed to hear that."

Y/N smiled warmly. "Anytime, Barry. We're in this together, and we'll get through it. Your dad would be proud of you, just like I hope my mother would be proud of me."

Barry nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah. Thanks, Y/N."

Soon the Flying Fox was making its final approach, and the team were making final preparations. Diana picked up her shield, and withdrew the sword from her back, Bruce filled his utility to the brim with all sorts of Batarangs and gadgets, and handed Arthur his quindent, who gave it a small twirl and nodded towards the Bat of Gotham. Victor looked to his left arm, which he transformed into a laser canon, and then looked to his right, which he transformed into a sonic cannon. Barry finished his yoga style stretches, squeezing and pushing his hands together creating a satisfying crack of bones. Finally Y/N stood up, and looked at his own reflection in a nearby shiny piece of metal. His eyes wondered downwards to the crest of the House of El, which Y/N gently traced. A house he had now been adopted into, and a Legacy he shall protect no matter the cost.

The Flying Fox made it's decent down towards a large mountain that overlooked the town and the defence dome. Bruce pressed upon a switch, and the ramp lowered with a few sparks, revealing the team, assembled, and ready for war.

(Just imagine Y/N in-between Diana and Victor)

"I'm gonna take out that tower and knock down that shield dome" Bruce explained as the rest of the team walked along the dead grass of the mountain causing them all to look back at the Dark Knight, Y/N with concern. "Whatever you see, stick to the plan. It's why I brought you together" he said as he began to close the ramp,

"Bruce!" Y/N called out as the ramp closed. "Don't do anything rational, we're a team" he tried to say but to no avail. Soon enough the Flying Fox flew off towards the dome.

As the Flying Fox approached, Bruce placed the black lensed goggles over his eyes as he prepared for battle. Flicking a few switches, Bruce armed and fired a singular missile which exploded upon impact with the red veiny alien dome. The missile exploded, creating a small hole but not large enough to enter and swiftly began to regenerate.

"Bruce, pull back, you're not gonna make it!" Victor told him over coms which Bruce did. The Flying Fox flying through the black smoke created by the missile and flying along the edge of the dome.

"Just have to knock a little louder" was all Bruce said in return, as he prepared to make another attack run. Flying straight at the dome, Bruce unloaded the vast majority of the Flying Fox's arsenal, dozens of missiles all firing out at once colliding with the dome and creating explosions along its skin. Bruce flew right in, penetrating the defence dome but the aircraft violently shook as the alien dome messed with the sensors. Seeing his chance, Bruce unloaded the remainder of the Fox's arsenal. More missiles, many of which easily made contact with the tower creating the dome and destroyed it, the shield dome melting away. But the Fox had taken dame to one of its engines upon entrance as alarms began to flare causing Bruce to rapidly flick switches to try and quell the damage.

"Oh shit" was all he had to say as the Flying Fox descended into the abandoned city below. Its left wing scrapping through buildings and the rest of the body crashing into the streets Bruce was rapidly thrown around by the impact. "The tower's down! Do you read me?" he said over comms.

"We read you Bruce, hold your position we'll be there shortly" Y/N said, nodding to the other members of the team.

"No" Bruce half shouted back as he exited the seat and made his way into the belly of the Flying Fox and preparing to enter the repaired Batmobile which he had stored inside. "Get to the reactor. I'll lure as many monsters away from here as I can" he said as he began to ready himself.

"Bruce you can't-" Y/N tried to say only to be cut off.

"Don't worry about me. Get to the Unity" he said, and suddenly the Flying Fox shook violently as sounds of Parademons bellowed from outside causing Bruce to look up. "They're here" was all the Dark Knight said, cutting off the transmission.

"Comn's down" Y/N said looking to the other members of the team and specially Diana.

"Let's Go!" as all she had to say on the matter, everyone understanding exactly what she meant.

The ramp to the Flying Fox was forced open by many Parademons, sending a squad inside of the wreckage to investigate for any survivors. They all looked around, no lights were on, no a soul seemed alive. Weapons drawn as every inch was scanned. Until, the lights of the Batmobile shined blinding them all, and the mighty car roared to life. And the Parademons were all torn to pieces by the machine guns of the Batmobile.

The four Parademons inside the damaged aircraft were torn to shreds, and the Batmobile roared to life as it sped forward drawing the attention of the Parademons in the nearby area. Through the flames of destruction left by the Flying Fox Parademons all growled angrily and flapped their wings, taking to the skies in pursuit of Batman.

Bruce opened fire, using the front mounted machine guns of the car to blast away in rubble in his path, and to be as loud as possible.

"C'mon,  follow me, you damn insects!" Bruce spoke to himself as more and more Demons converged on his location. The Batmobile rain through streets, its engines purring as Bruce took sharp turns still blasting the machine guns away.  One Parademon flew forward, and bashed itself into the right side of the car, killing itself by splattering its own head into the armoured chassis causing it to shake violently. Two more Parademons flew themselves onto the car.

But Bruce simply pressed down, and accelerated the Batmobile forward with flames shooting out of the exhaust as it shot forward with great speed. The hammering of guns continued to draw attention from more and more Parademons, as many as set up on a building Bruce was coming up to, firing off their plasma red weaponry creating an red tsunami of fire power coming his way. On the Fortress, many Parademons manned the turrets and fired upon the racing Batomobile.

But as Bruce came up to the building, he opened fire with the main cannon of the Batmobile. Firing into the building and creating a mighty explosion that easily destroyed the very building with the cannon at full power. The explosion itself, caused a smoke stack connected to the building to collapse on itself and began to fall towards the road. Using this, Bruce spun the Batmobile around 180 degrees, and slow the car slightly to allow the pursing the Parademons to catch up. Bruce blasted away with the machine guns, hundreds of rounds striking down Parademons or colliding with the oncoming rubble. Soon enough, many of the pursing Parademons were crushed under the rubble with only a few remaining that latched themselves onto the front of the car. And as Bruce spun around another again and boasted to full throttle, one Parademon was thrown off and impaled in nearby rubble.

But the two remaining Parademons smashed their way through the electronics and the circuitry of the Batmobile. One detached one of the machine guns, and smashed it like a baseball bat into the rest of the Batmobile, handing it to its comrade the Demon moved to the drivers cockpit.

Forcing it opened the Parademon growled as it prepared to attack Bruce who grit his teeth and prepared to eject.

But at the last moment, Superman, Y/N flew on and dropped Arthur off on the Batmobile who stabbed his Quindent into Parademon, while Superman grabbed the other and scrapped it along a nearby building killing it. Y/N had no quarries with killing these things, they weren't sentient beings, they were mindless slaves, their bodies forcedly mutated into being servants. It was just like killing machines.

Soon enough, Barry came speeding in running alongside the Batmobile. Victor flew down as Superman flew alongside him, Arthur stood on the Batmobile and Diana leapt across buildings and forward to join her teammates. The team quickly came to another fortified building in their way, and prepared to go right through it.

Bruce fired off several missiles from the Batmobile, and charged forward. Bruce himself sat in the car preparing for action, Arthur raising his quindent, Barry running into action, Victor systems at the ready, Diana leading the charge with her sword at the ready, and Y/N flying behind her with his fist stretched forward,

After so long apart, working indifferently, against one another, the team had assembled. And then charged forward united.

Bruce braced himself as the Batmobile charged through the fire and the flames and emerged on the other side of the building with Arthur landing on it. The rest of the team dealing with oncoming Parademons, with Victor blasting them apart, Barry leading them on a wild goose chase straight into the waiting fists of Superman and Diana slicing apart any that came her way.

"You really are out of your mind!" Arthur said with a joyous smile as he leapt forward into three incoming Parademons that flew his way. But the Demons latched onto Arthur and carried him high into the air, all the while the half Atlantean kicked, punched and head butted his way free. Arthur punched the final Parademon unconscious and just as another came his way he stabbed it in the chest with his weapon killing it. And as Arthur fell towards the ground, Victor caught his teammate causing him to smile.

"You're welcome!" the Cyborg said as he prepared to throw Arthur.

"My Man!" was all he said in return as he was launched forward towards a waiting Parademon. Arthur easily stabbed the Demon, and rode it like a surf board, crashing through a building and emerged without a scratch and waived his hair around as he watched Bruce approach the fortress.

Bruce ejected from the Batmobile, gliding downwards catching the attention of Parademons who soon crushed by the oncoming wreckage of the Dark Knights car.

Quickly, Barry, Arthur, Victor and Y/N all grouped up at the entrance of the fortress.

"Barry it's time" Y/N said knowing the speedster knew what to do.

"Go do your thing" Arthur added as Barry ran off with blue energy swarming all around him as he began to do laps around the town building up the charge.

Batman began to clear out the Parademons surrounding the fortress, using his Batarangs and gadgets to keep them at bay and nodding to Diana below as she too entered to join up with the other super members of the team. Bruce continuing to draw attention of the Parademons, picking up a llama rifle and shoot them down one by one.

Victor, Arthur and Superman made their way into the centre of the fortress. There they found Steppenwolf, his arms out stretched towards the Unity that crackled with energy and continued to synchronise.

"HEY!" Arthur screamed, slamming the end of his Quindent into the ground creating a loud ding of metal. This caused Steppenwolf to open his eyes, glowing bright blue, and turn around to look at the heroes grabbing his axe as his armour sprung to life. "Remember me?" Arthur asked with a smile and a small wave. "Round two?" he asked the two gentlemen standing next to him with a grin.

"Hell Yeah!" Victor answered as he transformed his left arm into a cannon.

"Always" Superman said as he readied himself.

Steppenwolf then charged at the trio like a raging bull, exhaling through his nose as he did so.

The trio were ready, Arthur slammed his quindent into the ground. Charged with ancient Atlantean magic, this created a massive blue wave of energy that sped towards the charging Steppenwolf. Both Victor and Superman added their own attacks into the mix, as Victor fired off his cannon and Superman blasted off two shiny rays of heat vision.

The triple team attack collided with Steppenwolf, causing the alien monster causing him to fly backwards and be knocked off his feet. Steppenwolf's axe was slammed into the ground as his feet slid against the metal as he grounded himself and snarled. Just then, Diana landed infant of the three men, her sword and shield at the ready as she glared at the alien.

"Shall We?" she asked.

Steppenwolf rose to his feet, his eyes still glowing blue connected to the Unity. " Tell me, Amazon... Why did you abandon your own sisters, only to cast your lot with these creatures, clinging to their puny lives?" he taunted, as he readied his axe, trying to get in the Amazons head. "You weren't there to protect them from me. And, sadly, you could have" he finished, and this was enough as the team surged into action.

As Victor took flight  towards the Unity,  he changed his fist into canons and unloaded rounds of energy into Steppenwolf catching his attention. Y/N leaped into action, intercepted Steppenwolf with a powerful punch that sent him staggering back.

"Focus on what's in front of you" Y/N said with a smile, his fists at the ready.

Arthur seized the opportunity, rushing in with his quindent. He jabbed it at Steppenwolf, the weapon crackling with mystical power. Steppenwolf parried with his axe, but Arthur's strength pushed him back.

"That's right, you ugly son of a—" Arthur grunted as he thrust the quindent forward again, keeping Steppenwolf off balance.

Diana was a blur of motion, her sword slicing through the air with precision. She ducked under Steppenwolf's swinging axe and delivered a swift kick to his side, her movements fluid and deadly.

Y/N saw an opening and flew high, then dived down, landing a crushing blow on Steppenwolf's shoulder. The impact sent a shockwave through the fortress, but Steppenwolf remained standing, fury burning in his eyes.

"We're just getting started!" Y/N shouted, his voice echoing through the cavernous space.

Arthur and Diana moved in unison, their years of combat experience evident. Arthur thrust his quindent towards Steppenwolf's legs, while Diana aimed a powerful strike at his head. Steppenwolf blocked Diana's attack but was knocked off balance by Arthur's assault.

Y/N used his heat vision, targeting Steppenwolf's axe. The intense beams of energy heated the metal, causing it to glow red-hot. The axe glowed, just like before it kept absorbing the energy of the heat vision more and more causing Steppenwolf to smile, but so did Superman as he kept the alien invaders attention.

Diana seized the moment, swinging her sword with all her might. The blade sliced through Steppenwolf's armor, leaving a deep gash. Arthur followed up with a powerful strike from his quindent, into Steppenwolf's wound.

As Steppenwolf was off guard, Diana charged forward and Superman knelt down allowing the Amazon Princess to push herself upwards attempting to slash at Steppenwolf who barley blocked it with his axe. The energy it absorbed through the heat vision crackling around Diana as their weapons met both warriors glaring at one another.

Victor looked back to see his three comrades holding their own against Steppenwolf, and decided now would be the time.

Through Victor's cybernetic vision, he could see it at the centre of the Unity. The power of creation itself caught in-between existing and nothing. A beautiful, yet somehow disturbing sight as his hand reached towards it almost hypnotised as many other beings had been before him.

As Wonder Woman charged at Steppenwolf, he directed the Amazon causing her to collide with Arthur off balancing the two. In mid air, Superman then reached his fist out and charged at Steppenwolf, who's armour forced his body to side step the attack and slam his axe into the Kryptonians neck with great force using the last of the heat vision stolen energy causing Y/N to scream out in pain. It was not enough to draw blood, but it hurt, and he was currently sandwiched between the platform they were standing on and the axe itself.

"Barry, I'm in position" Victor said to the speedster who was still running around the town continuing to build a charge.

"Okay, I built the charge!" the speedster yelled back over comms, feeling the power surging through him and his armour, almost painful to store up this amount go energy. "You all it!".

"Barry, on one" Victor said as he transformed his arms ready to connect with with the Unity. But Steppenwolf was stalking Victor as he was annoyed at these creatures who dared try and alter his destiny. "Three, two-" before Victor could finish he grabbed by the neck from behind. His extra robotic arms extending to life trying to hit himself free. "Get the hell off me!" he said as he couldn't free himself.

"VICTOR!" Barry cried hoping the call would come as the power surged. Just as Steppenwolf was about to crush Victor with his bare hands, Diana smashed his bracelets together. Creating a powerful shockwave that destroyed the walkway they were on, causing it to collapse and everyone to fall to a lower level. Victor boosted upwards backwards the Unity, with Steppenwolf in hot boosted leaping after him. At the nick of time, Wonder Woman threw her lasso upwards, wrapping around Steppenwolf's foot just as Victor got up to the platform where the ready was. Steppenwolf clung at the edge, Diana putting all of her might into pulling the tyrant down. Knocking rubble away and free of the axe, Y/N joined in pulling, and Arthur too.

The three heroes pulled with all their might, the concrete of the edge giving away causing Steppenwolf to fall down to them as Victor recalibrated his system to make the connection which would take at most one minute. They had to hold Steppenwolf off for at least one minute.

Arthur, eyes sharp, noticed a vulnerable gap in Steppenwolf's armor as the alien picked himself up. Seizing the opportunity, he lunged forward with his trident. The prongs pierced Steppenwolf's hand, pinning it to the ground with a sickening crunch.

"Got you now!" Arthur growled, holding the trident steady with all his strength.

Steppenwolf howled in pain and fury, thrashing in an attempt to free his hand. Diana moved swiftly, her lasso of truth shimmering as she expertly wrapped it around Steppenwolf's other arm, pulling it taut.

"Stay down!" she commanded, muscles straining against the immense power of their foe.

With Steppenwolf's movements restricted, Y/N saw his chance. He launched himself at Steppenwolf, fists flying in a blur of Kryptonian strength. Each punch landed with a thunderous impact, denting armor and cracking bone.

Y/N continued to punch, and bruise his way into the aliens armour.

Steppenwolf's roars echoed through the fortress, his face and chest battered by Y/N's onslaught. The team seemed on the verge of victory when Steppenwolf, with a surge of desperate strength, broke free of Diana's lasso and wrenched his pinned hand from Arthur's trident.

With a powerful swing, he sent Y/N crashing into the wall. Y/N groaned, momentarily dazed from the impact.

"I watched your island burn, your sisters begging for their lives" Steppenwolf taunted Diana who looked fearful, her mind racing with possibilities of what he could have done. "As did your mother" he added with a smile, knowing he was getting in the head

"Liar" Diana said breathlessly, but her guard was down as her mind drowned in thoughts. This brief moment of doubt allowed Steppenwolf to act, slamming his axe into her and sending her away. Arthur attempted to charge at Steppenwolf who easily whacked the half Atlantean away with rubble falling around him. Seeing this Diana ran over, and raised her shield, protecting Arthur from the rubble that collapsed onto them.

Y/N then flew in, rocketing his fists towards the invader. Which punch either landing or being blocked by the orange glowing axe, Steppenwolf grabbed Superman by his hair and and held him in place, almost ripping the hair from his scalp.

"Poor, pitiful Kryptonian, so far from your dead home" he snarled, slamming his axe into Y/Ns side and sending him away crashing through the walls and into a far off building just outside the reactor.

"I can't maintain this, VICTOR!" Barry called out over comms as he could feel the energy burning him out. Barry was under constant fire from Parademons manning turrets that Batman was trying desperately to take out one by one.

Victor began to attached his wires to the Unity, a shockwave rocking his entire body that twitched as the Unity began to probe his mind. Steppenwolf landed on the platform, witnessing the insects feeble attempt to disrupt his divine destiny.

The alien tyrant positioned himself right behind Victor, with his axe at the ready surging with power.

"For Darkseid" he proclaimed proudly, ready to end his insignificant act of rebellion once and for all. And just as Steppenwolf swung his axe down-

CLUNG

"Not Impressed" the voice of Kal-El, Clark Kent, Superman rung through the fortress as the axe made contact with his suit not even phasing him. Clark wore a new, black suit with silver symbol, making it easier for him to relegate his new supercharged powers. Clark smiled up at Steppenwolf as he looked down at the axe, the first Superman Had Returned. And not a moment too soon as his very presence uplifted the spirited of the losing battle.

Clark gently blew at the axe, his once mighty power breath now an icy variant. Ice quickly surrounded the head of the axe, blue ice spreading across the axe dulling its energy shocking Steppenwolf as no power in the known universe had done this. Quickly, Clark slammed his fist into the frozen axe, breaking it into pieces shocking the alien who looked down at his empty hands.

Floating upwards, Clark glared at Steppenwolf knowing the carnage, devastation and suffering he had caused, kicked him away which he collided with a wall and fell to the floor. Steppenwolf looked up at this Superman, and punched the floor knowing what this meant, and with no axe he was at a major disadvantage. But he pushed forward, and arose to his feet.

Only to be met with two shiny rays of heat piercing his shoulder. Clark's heat vision had been over charged and easily melted through the alien symbiotic armour of Steppenwolf and blasted through the concrete and metal of the fortress. Steppenwolf snarled, and ran towards the Kryptonian with his sharp claws at the ready. Steppenwolf swiped at Superman. But with the overcharge, easily avoided the claws with increased speed.

Just as Steppenwolf saw what happened, he reeled his fist back waiting to strike, only to be met with a super fast fist coming his from Superman which created a mini shockwave that sent the invader down to the lower level.

It was this moment that Diana and Arthur freed themselves from the rubble that had crushed them. Looking up, they smiled, hope shining through them as they saw the first Superman had returned to the realm of the living.

"Alright" Arthur smiled.

"Kal-El" Diana stated looking upwards ready for battle.

Y/N then flew back in the lower level, and looked up in amazement. A bright smile graced his lips as wonder filled his eyes and a tear was ready to fall. Clark Kent, the first Superman, had returned. The sight filled Y/N with a rush of emotions. Relief washed over him, easing the burden of responsibility he had carried since Clark's absence. The sense of camaraderie and brotherhood surged within him, knowing that he was no longer the Last Son of Krypton.

A deep admiration and respect blossomed in his chest, watching Clark exude his characteristic strength and unwavering resolve. Y/N felt a renewed sense of hope and determination, inspired by Clark's presence.

The three heroes then acted.

Wonder Woman landed in front of Steppenwolf, slamming his bracelets together just as he recovered from the blow. The shockwave created knocked the invader off his feet, and towards Arthur. Just as he was coming up to Arthur, the Atlantean whacked Steppenwolf with his quindent creating a magical pulse which once again knocked him away.

Seeing his opportunity, Y/N rocketed towards Steppenwolf with his fist at the ready punching him clear in the gut getting revenge for the earlier blows he sustained.

Y/N sent Steppenwolf flying upwards, the force of the punch was so great it broke off many of the spikes of Steppenwolf's armour.

Seeing this opportunity, Clark rocketed upwards, and then flew downwards towards Steppenfolf who was still mid air. And punched him into another pathway platform that lead to the Unity, landing in front of the downed alien invader. And proceeded to beat into him, for all the pain and suffering he had caused, for hurting his brother. Each punch shook the whole reactor with a shockwave. Clark even powered up his heat vision, and burnt into one of Steppenwolf's horns. Easily melting the armour and even burning off the horn itself. And Clark just continued to beat into him.

"Barry, I'm connected to The Unity! I need the charge to get inside!" Victor said over comms, panic clear in his voice as his wired arms were connected into the glowing Unity.

But on the outside, one Parademon, one Parademon had been continuously shooting at Barry finally got off one shot. A shot that collided with the speedster can caused him to drag along the ground, bouncing off of it as small wires and pieces of his armour fell off.

Just as the Parademon was about to take another shot, his entire face was blasted apart by Bruce wielding a plasma rifle.

"Barry! Barry, are you okay? Barry?!" Batman asked panicked as he couldn't spot the speedster but knew something was wrong.

"I got the wind knocked out of me, I need a few seconds, that's all!" Barry whimpered over comms, pain evident in his voice as he took in sharp breaths. Looking down, he saw a small portion of his abdomen had been completely burnt off. And he arose to his feet in pain trying to regain himself.

Superman, Wonder Woman and Arthur then all got to the level with the Unity. Seeing that Clark was easily handling Steppenwolf they all looked to Victor, praying that Barry would arrive any second. Every time it looked like Steppenwolf was about to try something, he was met with a punch from Clark which echoed through the reactor. Even activating his heat vision to ensure he stayed down.

Bruce looked on from the top of the stack, fear in his eyes and shaking his head seeing that the Unity had not been deactivated.

"BARRY, WHERE ARE YOU?! IT'S ALMOST SYNCHRONIZED!" Victor screamed, feeling the device getting closer and closer to fully merging as he tried to do everything within his power to stop it. On the outside, Barry was healing his wound and tried to compose himself.

Just then, a new mysterious Boom Tube opened behind the team, startling Superman, Wonder Woman and Arthur who looked back ready for a fight. Even Clark stopped beating Steppenwolf seeing this mysterious new portal. Through this Boom Tube, they saw him.

A New God, a child of the fourth world, a tyrant feared in every universe and beyond. A being who existed outside the fabric of this universe and controlled avatars in many others. A being once known as Uxas. But now he went by the name of;

Darkseid.

"BARRY!!!!" Victor shouted as he Mother Boxes are surged with energy upon sensing the presence of their master. And soon all three Mother Boxes were just at the tipping point. "It's too late..." Victor said to himself, his voice not carrying any hope or emotion of the Boxes surged.

"No" was all Bruce had to say as he grappled downwards hoping he'd be able to help.

"He's here" Steppenwolf growled, not being able to see but he could see sense the presence of his master.

And then, the Unity synchronised. The three Boxes became one, the power surged ceased, and the Unity then began to glow with the bright light of creation.

This bright light enveloped the entire reactor area, and the whole team knew this was hopeless as Y/N went to shield Diana from whatever was coming. And suddenly, the white light expanded and exploded, killing sentient life in the area as this wave of destruction enveloped the whole world. Killing all life, and preparing to remake the world in Darkseid's image.

All life, except for one.

Barry Allen reached out his hands, and suddenly found himself protected in a thin aura of energy. An unknown force, a Speed Force As destruction rained around  him and the planet was torn apart, Barry looked around to see himself protected as the energy of the Unity spread and terraformed Earth, rubble was thrown around and turned into nothing to be reformed into anything the Unity wished. The entire planet had been turned into one molten rock, and Barry just watched.

He turned to look at the explosion of white and blue energy with panic and fear. Groaning in pain as his wound healed. "Okay... Just gotta go faster than the speed of light, far beyond the speed of light, you gotta break the rule, Barry, and you gotta do it now!" he told himself as he struck a pose, blue energy flowing through Barry as he began a slowly run towards the explosion of energy. Energy flowing through him as he journeyed towards the explosion. And as Barry journeyed, he spoke to himself, somehow hoping this would reach his father through the confines of space and time itself. "Dad... Whatever happens, I want you to know... Your kid was one of them, Dad. One of the best of the best".

As Barry ran towards the centre of the explosion, the flow of time became his to bend and alter to his will alone. Barry became a lightning rod, leading the charge of blue energy that rippled out of him. The energy crackled around him, each bolt jolting out and reconstructing the world as it once was.

Barry opened his eyes and began to run. The ground beneath him seemed to reappear as he accelerated, the air around him warping with the intensity of his speed. His feet barely touched the ground, leaving a trail of electric blue lightning in his wake. Faster and faster he went, pushing beyond his limits, beyond anything he had ever attempted.

Each step sending out a pulse of energy that rippled through time itself, pulses that slowly rebuild the world as it once was. Barry leading a charge of creation as time revered.

The world around him began to blur, the shattered remnants of buildings mere streaks of color as they rebuild themselves. Barry's focus was absolute, his mind a singular point of determination. He could feel the barriers of time beginning to bend under his will.

Soon Barry found his rhythm, he knew exactly how to run, how to manipulate this energy as the laws of time bent to his will.

"Make your own future" Barry told himself, as the reverted the reactor. Reminding himself of the words his father instilled in him as he focused on this one moment. "Make your own past. It's all... Right... Now!" he told himself, diving forward to where Victor would be. Slowly the other members of the team appeared, their destruction reversing as their skeletons and flesh appeared. Barry was moving beyond any speed imaginable, even to Y/N and Clark he was nothing but a blur in motion. And Barry lunched himself towards the centre of the Unity, Victor's exoskeleton and bones reappearing as Barry channeled the electrical charge through himself and in his finger. He passed the charge into Victor, who did  not even realise that time had been reversed.

And suddenly, Victor found himself, inside of a hell scape.

A world ruled by fire, tectonic plates had been revesed and pushed in on themselves. Dust and sand crawled along what was once highways and cities as fire shot into the air and fell to the ground like waterfalls. Victor looked at himself, he was human? He was dressed the same he was during the night of the accident. He looked bewildered. Looking at his fleshy hands, able to feel, feel the cold air.

Victor turned around and saw them, his 'family'. His father Silas, mother Eilnor, and himself all happy and smiling like they used to.

"We've been waiting for you, Victor" his 'mother' said looking at the real Victor. "My broken boy" she added, thinking this would be enough to tempt the human.

"You don't have to be alone any more" his 'father' said looking at the fake Victor next to him. "We'll be together again!" he said with glee in his voice.

The real Victor then suddenly found himself in his robotic form, unable to feel, unable to touch. His mind wandering to the emptiness and loneliness he had felt during his time. He felt, intolerably lonely.

"We can put it back, Vic. Make you whole again" the other 'Victor' said trying to make this human give in to his desires.

Victor may have been tempted, may have thought it over, may have believed that at one stage that this is what he wanted. But he shook his head. "I'm not broken" he said defiantly, sticking his hands into the fake Victor at which it instantly change. The three 'Silas' family members all merged, their forms blinking in and out, being replaced with black ghostly figures that screamed with anguish as Victor pulled them apart. Soon the figures took on their true, white haired almost ghostly witch appearance as Victor pulled them apart further. "And I'm not alone" he declared, pulling the Mother Boxes apart further, the power of the Unity splintering across the three Boxes.

Soon enough Victor found himself in the real world, the witches becoming the Boxes as the doomed Earth mirage failed and the alien fortress reappeared in his vision. He was almost there, the Boxes were almost apart.

"SUPERMAN!" he called at, at which both Y/N and Clark both zoomed over. Nothing giving each other a small look of confusion, then smiles. Both Kryptonians grabbed a Mother Box at opposite ends of the Unity, using all of their might to force it apart ad Victor did the same. Energy flowed from it as the bright white and blue lights dimmed and expanded at once. The three super being using all of their might to pull this alien technology apart and save their world. Clark putting every ounce of extra power his resurrection had given him.

With a bright orange light, the Mother Boxes were pulled apart and went dead.

Steppenwolf pulled himself up, his head bleeding from the burnt off horn as his armour a mess from the beating he had sustained. All members of the team looked at him, knowing they had one last fight. But as Steppenwolf was about to let out a battle cry, he was stabbed in the back by Arthur, lifting the alien in the air as black blood seeped from the wound and he cried out in pain. Arthur gritting his teeth with a smile as he did so.

Seeing the opportunity, Y/N dashed forward. Delivering a powerful blow to Steppenwolf knocking him off the quindent leaving a trail of blood as he flew through the air. Diana yelled, letting out an Amazonian war cry as she drew her sword and ran, kicking herself off a wall she continued to scream as her sword cut through the neck of Steppenwolf. Easily beheading him as his headless body and head were sent through the Boom Tube to lay at his masters feet. Diana landing on now knee.

The head of Steppenwolf rolled along the metal pathway of the great war halls of Apokolips as Darkseid placed a mighty boot on it stopping it in its tracks. It took no effort from the New God to crush the head, spilling blood and ending  his nephews life once and for all. Darkseid looked from the head, to the failing Boom Tube, this team of heroes, these defenders dared to defy his will. Just as they had done on countless Earths beforehand.

Barry zoomed into the fortress just in time.

Darkseid took one final look at these seven defenders, his mind engulfed in rage and disappointment as the Boom Tube collapsed in on itself. The New God growled, exhaling through his nose as his eyes burnt bright red.

"I told you" the voice of DeSaad said, his scared face masked by armour and a thick metal hood. "Steppenwolf would fail" he added, a sense of glee washing upon him seeing another herald of his Lord and Master perish at the hands of another Earth.

"Yes, yes you did" Darkseid spoke, his voice low and booming, turning to face his most trusted advisor who he should have headed a millennia ago. Creeping into the souls of all who heard it, a voice that brought fear and destruction to every world.

"My master, now that the Mother Boxes have been destroyed, how will you retrieve your great prize?" he asked, lowering his head slightly as not to anger his master out of fear.

"Anti-Life is found DeSaad, and we will stop at nothing to possess it" the Lord of Apkolips said, his voice booming through the halls causing Parademon to bow their heads. "It exists on this, and every other Earth in the Multiverse itself. We need only find one, that is unprotected" he said, turning around to walk along the halls. "Find me one Earth, that is ripe for conquest" he ordered, having faced Kryptonians on other Earths before, Darkseid saw no point in humiliating himself with a possible defeat. He just had to wait, wait and fine one Earth with no heroes. Then, everything there is, every there ever was or will be, shall be Darkseid. Darkseid Is

Back on Earth, the heroes gathered atop the reactor. The sun was rising, an they intended to take in this of peace and tranquility. Y/N offered his hand to Clark, who took it, and Y/N noticed Clark put great effort in pulling himself upwards. The two looked at one another, on the same level, and shared a hug. Two aliens, one raised on Krypton, one on Earth. Aliens who were not blood related, but considered themselves brothers. Finally reunited, and could bask in the glow of the sun.

Clark offered his hand to Bruce, who gladly took it as his grapple was damaged. Both heroes, who long before were ready to kill one another. Had put the differences of the past behind them.

These Seven Heroes stood up, basking the glow of the rising sun. And Clark, thought back to words of wisdom that his Kryptonian father, Jor-El had said to him beforehand.

'They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal'

And they did, humanity had joined Kal in the sun.

And he couldn't be happier.

"So we need a name right?" Barry asked his teammates looking to them who looked back puzzled.

"A name?" Y/N responded with a confused look.

"Well, we can't be called the team forever right?" the speedster shot back with a smile causing the rest of the team to agree. "I mean, we're a bunch of Super powered friends, Super Friends if you will, and we need a real name" he added.

"Well Barry" Bruce said, his eyes not leaving the horizon as the Flying Fox, soon arose. Alfred having used a remote mode to repair the damage. "What do you suggest?"

"Well...." Barry said, rapidly tapping his right index finger against his chin. "What abouuuuuuuut...... The Super Seven?" he suggested, causing everyone else to smile nervously and chuckle at the really, really bad name.

"We'll workshop it" Clark smiled.

"Yeah, let's do that" Y/N finished, exhaling through his nose.

One Month Later

It had taken one month for Clark to reassume his normal life, Bruce had pulled some strings and had passed Clark's disappearance as a form of amnesia he suffered and turned up some place without knowing his name. He hadn't even returned to work as a hero yet, fearing some people would put 2 and 2 together.

But now the heroes celebrated, by having a BBQ at the Kent Ranch. Everyone laughed, enjoyed themselves, Barry had pilled up at least eight burger much to Arthur's anger. Martha doing her best to keep the grill going with a laugh and a smile. Bruce ensuring her, that the bank will never bother her again........because he bought it.

Clark tapped Y/Ns shoulder, drawing his attention and the two brothers went around the corner away from the eyes of the others.

"Everything okay Clark?" Y/N asked as his brother sat down on some wood.

"I was wondering......." Clark began, struggling to find the correct words. "If you wouldn't mind keeping the cape warm for me?" he asked, holding a smile on his face.

Y/N frowned, confused. "What do you mean? You're Superman, I mean we're Superman, I mean-" Y/N shut himself up as he saw Clark smiling.

Clark smiled gently. "My powers are a little burnt out after the resurrection. It's going to take some time for them to fully return. But it's more than that. I think it's time you truly stepped into the role, you've been doing a fine job without me".

Y/N still looked uncertain, but Clark glanced over at Lois, who was chatting with Diana, a loving look in his eyes. "I'm going to be busy soon," he said softly.

Following Clark's gaze, Y/N listened carefully and heard it—a second heartbeat. His eyes widened in realization. "Lois is pregnant?"

Clark nodded, a broad smile spreading across his face. "Yes, she is. I'm going to be a father" he said, Clark no believing it himself.

The two quickly shared a hug, both smiling and allowing emotion to wash over him.

"I love you Y/N, you're my brother" Clark stated proudly as the two separated and smiled at one another. "And I'm so proud of you" he stated, both knowing they weren't alone. The Last Sons of Krypton.

"You're also going to need this" Clark said, handing Y/N a package which he opened. Y/N looked at the contents, with a surprise look and bewilderment. It looked familiar, yet different.

"Are you sure?" Y/N asked, not knowing if this was the right thing.

"Not like I'm gonna need it" Clark smiled, the two went to go join the others.

Night Time

Two figures flew above the Kent Farm, one figure dressed in her classic Amazon armour she had modified over the years. Diana struggled, while she had once again learnt how to fly, she hadn't exactly got her form back. She needed help, and Y/N was there to lend a hand. Speaking of Y/N, Superman, he was dressed in a new costume. One that once belonged to Clark, one that been modified by Martha, brighter, more vitiable colours. And something else.

As they touched down on a secluded hilltop overlooking the farm, Y/N turned to Diana, a wide grin on his face. "You're a natural, Diana. I can't believe you ever doubted you could fly again."

Diana smiled warmly, her eyes reflecting the starlight. "It felt incredible, Y/N. Although I'm still not entirely sure I like this new look, I mea  trunks?" she asked teasingly.

Y/N shrugged modestly. "Just trying something different" was all he responded with, holding a smile.

"Diana," he began, his voice soft, "I just wanted to say... I really admire you. Not just as a warrior, but as a person."

Diana's expression softened, a tender look in her eyes. "And I admire you, Y/N. You've become a true hero, in every sense."

Y/N took a step closer, the space between them almost nonexistent. "I couldn't have done it without you and the team. But especially you" that sounded better in his head.

The moment stretched, the world seeming to fade away until it was just the two of them, standing under the stars. Y/N's hand found hers, their fingers intertwining. He leaned in slowly, their breaths mingling, eyes locked in a silent understanding.

As their lips met in a gentle kiss, it was as if the universe itself held its breath. The kiss was soft, tender, a meeting of souls as much as a physical connection. It was gentle, loving, pent up emotion unleashed in this one moment. When they finally parted, their foreheads resting against each other, Y/N whispered, "Thank you, Diana."

She smiled, her voice a soft murmur. "Thank you, Y/N."

Elsewhere

Bruno 'Ugly' Mannheim launched himself from the doors of a metal trunk, it didn't take much to get himself released. A few bribes here, a threat there and a jury rig there and he was home free. Bruno smiled as he entered a warehouse, guarded by his men, he thought that he needed a new organisation. One with trust, and reliable weaponry and technology. It was then he opened a crate, seeing it filled to the brim with alien technology salvaged from Russia, Parademon weapons and armour did he smile.

"Load them up boys" he said as his men went to work.

Elsewhere

Lex Luthor was pushed along a corridor, he looked behind him. Seeing a man he thought he had hired, Slade Wilson, Deathstroke the Terminator.

Portrayed By Joe Manganiello

"Mr Wilson I swear if you-" Lex was silenced, whacked in the back of the head by the barrel of a pistol.

"Shut Up" was all Slade said, he had no times for games. He had to get Lex to the point as quickly as possible, he didn't wanna upset the boss. They reached the end of the corridor, and the metal door slid open, revealing the figure of Amanda Waller, sitting there surrounded by A.R.G.U.S employees all with guns trained on Lex.

"Mr Luthor" she smiled, crossing her legs as she ordered her men to lower their guns. "It took a great deal of effort to get you out of Arkham" Lex's eyes narrowed on a screen  behind Waller, he was puzzled, he knew who she was but what this place was doing. He saw his creation, Doomsday, being dissected, his creation.

"Shall We Talk" Waller smiled.

End of: Zack Snyder's Justice League

Author's Note

BOOOM there we go, Snyder Cut arc all wrapped up and finished. Originally was going to make this 2 parts, but decided nah wrap it all up now. This chapter is over 13K words long, longer than my damn research dissertation so I hope this was good.

Obviously I changed some stuff, notably the flash time travel and Darkseid bits. Mainly my way of writing the Snyder dark future and sequels outta my story, didn't want them just hanging over the story like in the actual DCEU.

Next arc will be Aquaman, but hoping to sprinkle in more original stuff throughout. Adding in some more Superman villains maybe.

Anyway,

What was your favourite part of the chapter?
