mayas POV:

~1 month later~

a month has passed and i still like chris. Him and riley broke up, thank god. They just fought too much. I walk into chris' room, hes curled up in a ball on his bed. I sit down next to him

"hey, you okay?" i ask rubbing his back

"im fine, just kind of stressed" chris says rubbing his eye

"want a hug?" i ask smiling

"mhm" he says

i jump on him and hug him tight, he hugs me back. "you okay now?" i ask chuckling

"hm, kind of, woah i never noticed how good your hugs were" chris says smiling

"mhm, my hugs cure" i say sitting up "come on, were going to mcdonalds" 

"okay" chris says

we run to the car and sit in our usual seats, i go on my camera roll and find some pictures of my new cat, i havent told the triplets, and i know when they see him they'll go crazy.

"guys wanna see what i just got?" i say

"sure" they say

i show them the picture of the cat, they all scream and "aw" at the picture.

"WHATS ITS NAME?" chris asks

"chrispy" i say

"YOU'RE KIDDING" chris says looking back at me

"im really not" i say chuckling

"YOU NAMED IT AFTER ME?!" chris asks pouting

"NO I DIDNT, I JUST LIKE THE NAME CHRISPY" i say

"mhm, yeah right" chris says

"kay fuck mcdonalds, lets go to my house." i say 

matt drives to my house and i see chrispy at the front door, i grab him and give it to nick first

"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS CHOOSE NICK FIRSTTT?" chris asks whining

"IN ORDER, NICK MATT CHRIS" i say

avery comes downstairs "uhm, hey matt" she says scratching the back of her neck

"oh uhm, hey avery" matt says smiling awkwardly

i look at avery, then at matt, then back at avery "what the fuck is going on" i blurt out

"nothing!" avery says

"avery blaire richards tell me now." i say strictly

"fine, avery and i are going out." matt says

"HUH" i ask "DID YOU TWO KNOW?!" i ask pointing at chris and nick

"well yeah" nick says

"assholes. How long?" i ask

"like 3 weeks" avery says

"BUT WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME" i ask

"because sometimes you gossip to much and you tell other people" matt says

"i feel hurt" i say dramatically

"sorry" avery says

"fuck both of you, its like if i didnt tell you guys that c- that i went out with you know who" i say crossing my arms

"now THATS  a rule, you have to tell us" nick says

"woah, did i skip a chapter?, who is "you know who" huh?" chris asks

"no one." i say "come on" i say grabbing chrispy and going to my room with the others

they all play with chrispy "who wants to come to mcdonalds with me?" matt asks

"i do" avery says

"same" nick says

"ill go" i say

"wait can you stay please, maya?" chris asks

"uhm, sure" i say

"okay well, do you want anything maya?" matt asks

"a large pepsi" i say

"will do, bye" matt says

i wave and they leave, closing the door "why did you want me to sta-" i start but stop talking to chris leaning in, i pull back "what are you doing?" i ask with a nervous chuckle in my voice

"will you just stay still?" chris asks, leaning in again and kissing me, i kiss him back "now will you tell me who it is?" chris asks smiling

"hm, maybe later" i say smiling and kissing him one more time.

Theres an awkward silence between both of us until chris speaks up "maya, i like you" chris says

"excuse me, what?" i ask, tilting my head

"are you deaf or something? i said i like you" chris says with a chuckle in his voice

"chris, well, i like you too. But its going too fast i think, like, we have to go out first instead of getting into a relationship so quickly" i rant

"well, sure" chris says smiling softly

"and, i wanna get some payback on nick, matt and avery so lets not tell them" i say grinning

"hm, okay" chris says giggling

they come back, i grab my pepsi and we all eat in my room. Chrispy falls asleep on chris. I grab my phone and text chris

chris puts his phone down, after like 3 minutes i put it down as well, listening to the others talking. Someone opens my door, lucas. He looks...upset?.

"what do you want lucas" i ask getting up

"i just wanna talk to you, ive been going through a lot a-" he starts but i cut him off

"no, im not talking to you." i say

"please, 5 minutes" lucas begs

"fine." i say walking into my hallway with him "start"

"listen, all of my friends dropped me and i dont know what to do, ive been very lonely and pu-" i cut him off

"see? i hate when you do this, everything is about you, we only talk when you feel like it. Ive been feeling like shit ever since you pushed me away but you didnt care, youre just a selfish, self centered bitch who only cares about himself. Now leave because im with my friends, bye and thank you" i say walking back into my room

"who the fuck is that?" chris asks, a hint of jealousy in his voice

"you know, crazy ex boyfriend" i say sarcastically "no goofy its my cousin"

"oh, what happened?" matt asks

"its a long story but basically he chose popularity and friends over me like 2 years ago and we only talk when he wants to and his friends dropped him and now he wants me back in his life which i said no to" i say shrugging 

"cant believe i had a crush on that asshole" nick says

"can someone go get me water" avery asks groaning

"ill go get you some" chris says

"christopher i am loving you at this moment" avery says with a straight face

"moment over." matt says

"sounds like someones jealous" i say chuckling

"whatever, im gonna go get avery water" matt says

matt goes downstairs and we all burst out laughing uncontrollably. Jealous matt was so funny to us. As soon as we heard footsteps coming up the stairs we all stopped laughing. They all went back to their house afterward.
