I was done thinking. i invited chris to my house to tell him what i feel, he doesnt know that though. I was home alone. I hear someone knock on the door.

"hey" chris says nervously

"hello" i say smiling softly "come in goofy"

"okay?" chris says with a chuckle "whats up?"

"i love you too" i say without hesitation

"excuse me?" chris says, his eyes widened

"i love you too" i say again

"really? you're not just saying that to make me feel better?" chris asks

"chris, do i need to write a whole poem to say that i love you too?" i ask crossing my arms

"well no i just want to know if youre serious" chris says

"im serious" i say

chris' POV:

"im serious" maya says

without even thinking, i kiss maya, she kisses me back. After pulling away, theres an awkward silence before i speak up

"we should use labels" i say

"what labels?" she asks me

"like...i dont know, girlfriend and boyfriend?" i say nervously

"is this your way of asking me to be your girlfriend?" she asks grinning

"well, kind of" i say scratching the back of my neck

"hmm, yeah" she says tilting her head

"youre not kidding? cause if youre kidding i will kill you" i say pointing my finger at her

"why do you think im always kidding? im being serious" she says

"really?" i ask

"never been more serious in my life" she says smiling gently

"oh my god you are  serious" i say slapping my hand over my mouth

"oh my god shut the fuck up before i change my mind" she says chuckling slightly

"lips sealed" i say "do you want to tell anyone?" 

"i mean, not online, but to our friends and like family yeah" she says shrugging

"okay! but lets not tell them right now, lets wait like a week" chris says

"okay but you're telling avery nick and matt, ill tell hailey" she says

"okay" i say
