Where it takes all the good in you

It makes us question everything.

Why do these people talk to me?

Am I a burden?

Am I fun to hang out to?

Am I good enough?

Do they even trust me?

What if they are lying to me?

What if they are hiding something to me?

Do they back stab me?

So many questions

But here is the thing,

If you listen closely enough

While the mind asks these questions

The heart answers them softly

They talk to you because you are likable.

No you aren't a burden.

Yes they enjoy your company.

Yes you are good enough.

They will trust you when you trust them.

They wouldn't find the need to lie or hide anything to you

If you aren't judgmental.

Have some faith in them.

Listen to your heart

Not your mind

And love yourself.
