𝗛𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝘆

This update is dedicated to the wonderful @MiriamElade for giving me the honour of revamping her cover for her Open Novella Contest 2023 Entry & amazing fantasy Fae novella, The War of Crowns! 

Firstly, I am very happy and confident with where my skills are and while they are constantly improving, I know I'm not gonna win any awards. At least, not anytime soon (lol!).

There's a lot that I can still improve on and I know it's a journey. Therefore, if anyone has any feedback and constructive criticism on this cover I'm about to show, please don't hesitate to tell me! I love design and really want to improve as much as I can.

Without further ado, here is the improved cover!

It's a two-photo, light manipulation cover. The photos were generated from Midjourney AI so while they are great, it took a bit of effort to properly blend them together. Also blend in a bit of light stock photo fire and fog effects and hopefully, it represents the book and its premise well enough.

I also did my best to make the cover brighter and more visible for those who don't use brightness settings on mobile but if it's still not up to par, then I'll do better the next time around.

The font is the demo version of Desire Pro and the font effect is a re-adjusted variation on the original style made by eosophobias.

Therefore, this entire cover is considered Personal Use only.

The software used was Photopea.

Please do not copy or replicate any part of this cover.
