Ray POV
I wake up and look around, blinking. Everything is a little blurry and my head is pounding. The lights are excruciatingly bright and the cut on my neck, along with my whole body, hurt.
"Oh, good. You're up," a nurse says, walking into the room. She smiles at me. "I'm glad to see that you're awake. How are you feeling?"
"Um, it kind of hurts...everywhere," I mumble.
"You hit the water pretty hard, and for someone as underweight as you, the impact on your body was very hard. You were lucky that you made it." She starts to write on a clipboard.
"Lucky," I whisper.
"Hm?" she looks back up to me.
"Nothing." I sigh. "Actually, can I have my phone? There are a few people that I'd like to message."
"I can go get it for you. Once you are a little bit more awake I'd like to go over your condition, though. Alright?" She gives me a perky nurse smile. I nod back, and she walks out of the room.
"Lucky," I mutter again.
"Here you go," the nurse says as she walks back into the room with my phone. I thank her, and she leaves quickly. I shiver when thinking about the last time I used my phone.
I open my phone up and get to my texts. I look through my recent texts, all with the boys. I decide to do a short group message.

Ray✨: just wanted to let you all know that I'm awake

Noen POV
   I'm sleeping loudly when I hear shouts go up across the bus. I open one eye and look around.
   "Chase," I call up to him. He turns around with a big smile. "What's going on?"
   "Ray. She texted us. She's awake, Noen." He smiles at me, and I smile back so widely I think my face might crack in half.
   "What hospital is she at? We need to go visit her! Well, meet her," I say quickly, moving up a few seats to sit behind Chase.
   "Hold on." He scrolls through his phone for a second. "Brunswick Hospital."
"Do you think we can get Trent to let us go straight there since the show isn't for a few days?" I ask.
"Maybe. Hey, Josh, get over here." Chase waves Josh over to us.
"Yeah?" he asks with a smile.
"Would you shoot Trent a text and ask if we can go straight to visit Ray in the hospital since the show isn't for a few days? We all know he likes you, so would you please?" Chase gives him a fake pout, and Josh laughs.
"Sure." He sits down next to me and pulls out his phone. Texting Trent, he taps his leg while he waits for a response. After a few minutes, his phone lights up, and he grins. "He said to tell the driver where we need to go."
"Yes!" Chase says with a smile as he runs towards the front of the bus. I decide to start going through all the texts popping up in the group chat with Ray.

Ray✨: just wanted to let you all know that I'm awake

Sam🏄‍♂️: HI RAY **aggressive waving**

Ray✨: hi Sammy

Sam🏄‍♂️: guys she called me sammy this is legit couple goals

Jaden🎤: nice to know that you are awake Ray. Sam, that is not couple goals. That would require you to be a couple first

Sam🏄‍♂️: ...a couple of friends

Jaden🎤: closer

Sam🏄‍♂️ has changed Ray✨ to Ray💛

Ray💛: thanks

Sam🏄‍♂️: not a problem

Josh😇: hi ray

Chase😷: ray I'm very glad you're awake

Jaden🎤: how are you feeling

Josh😇: wait does our little Sammy boy have a crush on Ray???

Sam🏄‍♂️: no I do not

Chase😷: sure bud keep telling that to yourself

Noen😽: happy to hear that you're awake ray

Ray💛: thanks. kind of tired and might go to sleep soon so goodnight
