Sam POV (say whatttt?)
We are standing out in the lobby, waiting for Payton and Noen. When they finally arrive in the lobby, it's Noen hauling a crying Payton behind him. He lets go of him once they get past the nurse's desk.
"Let's go, then," Jaden mumbles. We all start heading out and toward the bus.
"So, he was talking to Ray?" I mumble to Noen as we walk. He looks over at me, giving me a weird look.
"Yeah, why?" Noen replies.
"Just-Just curious." I shake my hair out of my forehead, then turn around and look at Noen. He's just standing there looking at me.
"You like her, don't you?" he asks quietly.
"What? No. Of course not." I start shaking my head aggressively. "No."
"Stop denying it," Noen says with a flat look. "You just sound like an idiot."
"I don't. That'd be ridiculous." I glare at him.
"I know you might not realize it, but I can see it plain as day, Sam. It's going to hit you hard once you finally realize it, so you might as well hear it now. You clearly like her. I'm not judging you for it, I'm just trying to tell you now so if you want to make a move, you can do it sooner that later. She's amazing, you should stop denying it."
"Do I?" I whisper. "I never thought about her like that."
"I think you do, and if I were you, I'd hurry up with it because I don't think you're the only one." He pops an eyebrow up. "We'll be here a few more days."
"Okay. Yeah. I'll think about it." I give a little smile.
"Hey, you two!" We both turn around and see Jaden with his head out the bus door, screaming at us from halfway across the parking lot. "Are you getting on the bus or not?"
"We're coming!" Noen yells back, walking past me to the bus.
"Hey, Noen," I call to him quietly. He turns back around to face me. "I've never dated anyone before. I'm going to need a lot of help."
Noen just grins. "Isn't that what I'm here for?"
I laugh. "Yeah, I guess it is." Then, I follow him onto the bus.
