Chapter Nineteen

Serena's P.O.V.

On Monday, T.J offered to take me to the studio with her and said I could hang out in her trailer while she was working. At first, I was hesitant. I didn't want to run into Eden and Aidan after what happened. But, it's not like I had anywhere else to go. I didn't want to go back to the hotel and potentially run into Aidan when he got back. My heart was still in pieces and had yet to be glued back together. I agreed, and that morning I packed some of my stuff into my bag.

The moment I walked through the doors, Robert and Emmy immediately ran towards me and embraced me. "We heard about Aidan. I'm so sorry," Robert muffled. "Wait, who told you about that?" I asked, confused as to how they knew. As far as I knew, none of the younger cast posted anything about it on Instagram. That was when I had a hunch that Eden had said something, but I had yet to hear about where they got their information from. "T.J. texted and told us about it," Emmy answered, calming my shaking nerves.

I didn't want to hurt Eden, but if she had spread the news all over social media, bragging about what she did, I wouldn't hesitate to sucker punch her. "Well, I appreciate the support," I said before walking to T.J's trailer and getting everything set up. My hands dug through the bag, looking for my wired headphones. But to my surprise, they weren't in there. The only place I ever kept them was in my backpack, and the last time I remembered using them was the previous Friday. "Oh shit," I breathed out as the thought of going into Aidan's trailer to get them crossed my mind. "What is it?" T.J asked. I explained the situation to her, and I asked if she had any spares, but she said no.

"Do you want me to go get them?" She offered. Before I could open my mouth and say something, her trailer door opened, and one of the producers told her that she was needed on set. "Well, I guess you're on our own," T.J sadly smiled before walking out. I feared that going into Aidan's trailer was going to trigger some memories from the time we spent there, but I thought that if I just went in and got what I needed, everything would be fine. The only problem with this was that Aidan's trailer was on the other side of the lot, and I would likely run into some of the younger cast or worse, Aidan.

I poked my head out of the trailer. To my relief, no one was walking by. They were probably in the other trailers or onset. I quickly walked towards Aidan's trailer, silently praying that it was empty, and when I finally reached the trailer, I poked my head inside, and surprisingly, nobody was there. I figured I had at least a few minutes to find my headphones and get out before Aidan got back.

When I stepped inside the relaxing area, I saw two bags were resting against the sofa. I recognized one of them as Aidan's bag, but the other one raised an eyebrow. It was black faux leather with a few Umbrella Academy pins on the pocket. A keychain with someone's name was on one of the zippers, and with a closer glance, I saw that it was Eden's bag. "Great, he's already bringing her into his trailer," I muttered quietly as I stood up and searched for the headphones.

I tried my best to make it look like nobody had been in there, but in the end, I forgot to remember where some of the objects were before, and that would surely get Aidan's notice. The trailer door opened as I was about to check in-between the sofa cushions, and I swear I felt my heart come to a halt. "What are you doing in here?" A voice spoke up. I slowly looked over to see that it wasn't Aidan, thankfully. But instead, it was Eden.

"I'm looking for my headphones. Not that it's any of your business," I answered, going back to the search. "You don't belong here in this trailer anymore," she sneered. I tried to hold my composure the best I could like I did back at the Devil's house, but I knew that if she kept on like this, something inside me was going to snap. "Yeah? Well, what are you doing in here?" I asked. "They didn't need me for that long. To be honest, I expected you to be the last person that came in here after the incident,"

Bringing up the day I saw my ex kissing her wasn't helping with my anger. It was only flaming the flames. "You know, I don't blame him for cheating on you. Because look at me. I'm the hottest girl he's ever been with. You, on the other hand, look like something the cat dragged in," Eden teased, chuckling softly. "What did I ever do to you, Eden? Ever since I started coming here, you've treated me like shit!" I said, giving up and glaring at her. She smirked and rolled her eyes. "I don't know what you're talking about," She said, batting her beady little eyes.

"First of all, I've seen you get way too close to Aidan. You've never talked to me whenever I try talking to you, and most importantly, YOU. AND. MY. EX. FUCKING. KISSED!" I shouted. She continued to smirk at me, rolling her eyes. Out of the corner of my eye, my headphones rested in a small basket on top of the mini-fridge. I grabbed them and walked towards the door, purposefully bumping into Eden as I passed her and walked out, trying to hold back my tears. The door to one of the other trailers opened, and I turned around.

"I heard screaming. Is everything alright?" One of the makeup artists asked. "Yeah, everything's fine. Sorry, I scared you," I assured her before she closed the door, and I ran the rest of the way to T.J's trailer.
