Chapter Nine

Aidan's P.O.V.

The next morning, the sound of my alarm clock blared in my left ear. I smacked it off before looking down to see Serena had her arms wrapped around me as she continued to sleep. My heart pounded inside of me faster and faster as I continued to watch her. I could stare at her all day and never get bored. "Are you staring at me?" she sleepily asked as she rubbed the tired out of her eyes. "Maybe?" I chuckled softly, booping her nose.

She chuckled under her breath before letting out a small groan, stretching her arms and legs out on the bed. "I'm going to get ready," She said, kissing my cheek. She walked over to her suitcase and grabbed some clothes, and walked into the bathroom. A few minutes later, I heard the shower turn on, and I got ready as well, grabbing a black t-shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans. That day was going to be busier than when we did the camera tests. It was the first day that we were going to be shooting scenes for the first episode.

Serena came out of the shower, and we went down to the lobby where they had the breakfast bar set out. Once we grabbed our breakfast, we met up with my parents at one of the tables. "Did you two sleep well?" Mom asked as she took a sip of her morning coffee. "Yes, we did. How about you?" Serena answered before taking a bite of her breakfast. After that, we went back to the hotel room to grab some of our stuff before we called an Uber and drove to the set.

"Alright, I'm going to hair and makeup. There are snacks in the fridge. I'll be back in a few hours," I recapped to Serena before I left the trailer and grabbed my costume. "Hey, Aidan!" A voice called out. I looked over my shoulder, and I saw Eden waving at me. "Hey Eden, what's up?" I asked as she walked closer to me. "Nothing really, just wanted to stop by and say hi before you went on set," She smiled. She seemed to be in an unusually cheery mood. Usually, she would tired and groggy. Not that I was complaining, it just seemed weird to me.

"How's that girlfriend of yours? What's her name?" She asked. "Serena, and she's doing fine. She just in the trailer working on her music," I answered. She nodded slightly and glanced over to my trailer. "Do you like her?" I asked, breaking her gaze from the trailer. "Uh, yeah. She seems cool," Her answer didn't give me much confidence. For some reason, Eden never liked it when I was around other girls. We only dated for a few months while we worked on Season 1, and the whole time we were together, she was clingy. Just like Hannah.

"You have a problem with her, don't you?" I sighed, looking away. "No, I don't, Aidan. I'm happy you found a girl you like. I just hope you're making the right choice," She said before walking away. Making the right choice, what the hell does that mean? I didn't want to know, so I just brushed it off and walked towards the set and took a seat next to Robert and David. "Hey buddy, you okay?" Robert asked. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be fine?"

To be honest, I wasn't fine. Not after what Eden said, on top of that, I had no idea what to get Serena for her birthday. She wasn't picky, but she never gave me an idea of what she wanted. "Come on, man. I know you better than that. What's going on?" David said, giving me a look of sympathy. "Alright, but you have to swear not to tell anyone," They both swore on their lives, and I explained to them the situation.

"She said that?" Robert asked, looking around to make sure that Eden wasn't coming. "Yeah, I think she still might have feelings for me. The problem is, I don't know if I should tell Serena or not," I answered. Robert's eyes grew wide as saucers, and he asked me to repeat myself. I complied, and he and David glanced at each other before looking at me again. "You cannot tell Serena. If she sees you two talking and suspects something is going on, you should tell her, but if not, I would keep it to yourself," David explained.

As much as I hated hiding things from people, he did have a point there. "I guess your right," I sighed. Just then, the bell rang, meaning it was time for us to begin working on the scenes. "well, we better hop to it," Robert said as he stood up from his chair and we walked onto the Academy set.

A/n: Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated in a few days. I had no motivation to write because I'm back in school now and they are burning me out with tons of schoolwork. But, I'm back now and I'm hoping to get some more chapters done this week!

With love,
