Chapter Four

Serena's P.O.V.

"You should probably go get change," I smiled after we pulled out of the long kiss. He nodded and walked out of the trailer, heading to another trailer to get his iconic Five costume. My mind still couldn't wrap around the realization that everything I had ever dreamed of doing with Aidan was becoming a reality. First, I won the contest at school to sing with him, Two, I became part of the family, and now I was in Toronto with him, on the set of TUA.

"I must be the luckiest girl in the world," I said to myself, laying down on the sofa, letting out a loud breath. I had no idea how today was going to pan itself out, but I knew that I was going to be working on some of my new songs, even though my guitar wasn't shipped out yet. I had a melody stuck in my head for the past few days, and I couldn't stop humming it as I logged into my laptop and started playing the demos I had recorded back in LA.

I reached into my backpack to grab one of my notebooks and pens and flipped to the page with one of my newest songs. I started playing the demo file, and I couldn't help but start singing along to it.

When you're stuck in a moment
And your spark has been stolen.
This is our time to own it.
So own it

Baby, we were born with
Fire and gold in our eyes, eyes
With fire and gold in our eyes, eyes
Got lightning in a bottle
Hands-on the throttle
Even in the dust, we shine.
With fire and gold in our eyes

"Sounds beautiful!" A voice called out. I looked up in and saw Aidan had returned, wearing his costume. I paused the demo and stood up, walking towards him. "You look so cute," I smiled. Aidan's cheeks began to blush at my compliment, and I felt him gently wrap an arm around my waist. "How did I end up with such a kind and talented girlfriend?" He asked, resting his forehead against mine.

"How did I get so lucky to have you as a boyfriend?" I asked before pecking his lips. "Well, I should probably get going to that Camera test. I'll see you when it's over," he said, giving me one final kiss before walking out again. I had the entire trailer to myself, and I spent most of the time working on my music and working on some online assignments.

River Wren High had just opened up an online program so I would be able to get the credits  needed to pass my Sophomore year. I liked it, but I still missed my friends Vanessa and Ethan and I started to wonder how they were doing without me in LA. During last night's conversation, Vanessa had said that Ashley had been pulled out of school because the video of her freaking out on the night of the concert went viral, and people had started making memes of it.

I wanted to feel bad for Ashley, but at the same time, she brought it on herself. Around noon, I heard the trailer door open, and I looked up to see Aidan had come back, looking a little exhausted. "How did it go?" I asked. "It went well. Tiring process though," He smiled. He told me that the catered lunch had arrived for all the cast and crew, and we walked into one of the large buildings and into a large empty room where I saw a few fold-up tables laid out and people were grabbing plates of what appeared to be sandwiches.

"Hey guys, there's someone I want you to meet," Aidan called out to the large group. They turned away from their conversations as we walked up to them. "Serena, these are some of my coworkers, Emmy, Robert, Tom, and Justin. Guys, this is my girlfriend, Serena," He said. I couldn't believe that I was finally meeting the whole cast. I tried so desperately for the words to come out, but it was hard because of how in shock I was. "Hi," I said shyly as I shook each of their hands. "It's nice to meet you, Serena. Aidan told us a lot about you," Robert smiled.

"He did?" I questioned, looking at Aidan from the corner of my eye. "Yes, he said that he likes being in a relationship with you. And that your a talented singer," Justin nodded. I could feel my cheeks glow pink, and I saw them looking at my red cheeks. After meeting with some of the main cast, Aidan and I grabbed our sandwiches, and we sat at one end of the room and watched another group walk into the room. "Who's that?" I asked. From the quick glimpse I got of the group, they looked like younger kids. "That's the younger cast. They don't get a lot of scenes other than flashbacks," Aidan explained, taking a bite out of his lunch.
