The rest of the time that I had spent with Aidan, we worked on my song. Along with a few songs that he was in the process of producing. One of them was called Miss You. I caught on to the song very quickly, and it was fun. "Okay, one more run-through, and we'll take a break," Aidan said as he gently plucked the strings of his guitar. Even though I had gotten over the shock that I was singing with Aidan. There was a small part of me that was screaming with excitement.

"Good job! You catch on pretty fast!" Aidan said as he leaned his guitar against the wall. "Thanks," I smiled. When Aidan and I walked out of the recording studio, we heard the front door open, and I saw a woman walk in with bags full of groceries. "Here, Mom. Let me get that for you," Aidan ran towards her and took the bags out of her hand, and placed them on the counter. "I'll help too!" I called out as Aidan ran outside. I followed him out the door and helped him get the rest of the groceries inside.

"You know, you don't have to do this!" Aidan grunted as he closed the trunk. "I just want to help," When we were done with that, Aidan introduced me to his mom, and she was super sweet. Although she seemed concerned that Aidan had invited me into his house while she wasn't there. "You guys didn't do anything, did you?" she asked. Aidan's hands flew his face and he let out a small groan while my cheeks turned red with embarrassment. "Don't worry, Mrs. Gallagher, all we did was work on music," I answered.

She let out a breath of relief, and the three of us talked for a little while until Aidan's father came home and they got dinner on the table. My phone vibrated in my pocket, and I saw that it was a text from Vanessa, asking me how I was doing.

Vanessie 💖

Vanessa: Hey, girl! How is it going with Aidan?

Serena: It's going great! He is so sweet!

Vanessa: Omg! Are you falling in love with him yet?

Serena: What? NO!

Vanessa: Come on! You can't deny the Aidrena ship! I saw you on Instagram!

You were blushing the whole time! 

Serena: No, I wasn't! And what the hell is Aidrena?

Vanessa: It's your ship name! Aidan + Serena!

"Who are you talking to?" Aidan asked. I looked up, and I saw that Aidan was staring at me as I was texting Vanessa, and I had a feeling that he might've seen some of our texts. "It's just my friend, Vanessa checking in on me," I answered. He nodded and went back to scrolling through Instagram.

Serena: Girl, Aidan just asked me who I was texting, and I think he might've seen our texts!

Vanessa: Oof, RIP!

Can you send a picture of Aidan?

Serena: I can't! He might think it's weird!

Vanessa: Just ask him!

Serena: Ugh, fine!

I looked up from my phone, and I saw Aidan was balancing his phone in-between his legs as he watched Netflix. "Hey, Aidan. Could I get a quick picture?" I asked. "Yeah! Let me guess your friend asked for a picture?" he answered. How did he know? "She did, she's a big fan!" I smiled. He chuckled for a moment, and he let me take a picture. "Tell her I said hi," He said before he went back to watching Netflix.

Serena: Here you go! Aidan said Hi!

Vanessa: OMG, Thank you! Tell him I said Hi back!

Serena: I got to go eat dinner. I'll call you afterward so you can pick me up!

Vanessa: Okay! See you soon, girly! 😘

Serena: See ya! 💖
