"Alright, you got everything?" Aidan asked before we walked out the door. "I mean, I just brought my phone with me," I answered. I said my goodbyes to Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher, and I thanked them again for their kindness and for helping me through this time. Aidan grabbed the keys to his bike, and we headed out to the driveway and started to head back to Vanessa's house.

"Are you sure this is safe?" I asked as we made a turn onto the next street. "Yeah! As long as the headlights are on, we're fine," he answered. I looked up at the sky and saw that so many stars were out, too many stars to count. And the full moon shown brightly above us. "Beautiful night out tonight," Aidan said once we had reached the end of Vanessa's street. He pulled over to the side and turned the bike off. I was a little confused by this, but I didn't say anything. He took my hand in his, and we started walking up the street.

"Okay, so which one is it?" he asked. "Just a few more houses, and we'll be there," I answered. Aidan looked over at me, and I glanced at him for a moment as we continued walking. "Sorry I ruined the night. I didn't mean for it to happen like that," I sighed as the memories came flooding back. I felt Aidan wrap an arm around my back, and we came to a stop, and our eyes met. "You don't have to be sorry. You didn't ruin the night," He said as he gently squeezed my hand.

"Really?" I glanced down at the ground, and I felt Aidan gently lift my chin, so I was eye to eye with him. "Serena, going live on Instagram with you and working on music today was the most fun I've had in a long time," he whispered. A smile spread across my face, and I could feel my cheeks turn a bright pink. "I'm sure you say that to all the girls you work with," I blushed. He chuckled softly and looked away for a second before his eyes reconnected with mine.

"Your the only girl I've ever said that to. And I mean it, Serena," He smiled. We continued walking up the street, and soon we reached the end of Vanessa's driveway. He pulled me slightly closer to him, and I couldn't help but smile and blush. Thank god the moon was hiding behind some clouds. Otherwise Aidan would've seen me blushing. "Thanks for walking me home," I smiled as Aidan let go of me. "Your welcome. I'll text you tomorrow before school," I nodded slightly, and as I was about to head inside, Aidan grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him.

"What are you doing?" I asked. "I just wanted to give you this," he answered. I was confused, but then Aidan leaned in, and his soft lips were pressed against my bruised cheek. "Goodnight, Serena," He said before walking down the street back to his bike. "Goodnight, Aidan," I whispered. When I got back inside, Vanessa and her mom hugged me so tightly, and they started asking questions like, "Where have you been?" "Why didn't you call us?" But, I explained everything that happened, and they comforted me when I told them about the police coming to talk to me about my Aunt.

"We'll be there for you no matter what, Serena," Vanessa said, pulling me into her embrace. "Thank you so much," I muffled into her hair. We stayed that way for a while. But, when we finally pulled apart, I headed back to my room, and let out a small squeal as I touched the cheek Aidan had kissed. The bad memories were replaced with the sweet moment between Aidan and me.

Oh my god, I think I'm falling in love with him!
