A few more days later..

"Manik...we should go party! Nandini." Mukti told Manik as they all sat in his room.

"Mukti....Nandini ki halat toh dekho. Party karni hai tumhe..." Manik refused.

"Meri kya halat hai?" Nandini asked. "Main toh kab ki thik bhi ho gayi....yeh Manik hi mujhe kahi nahi jaane de raha hai. Mukti party sounds like a great idea!"

"Kya yaar Manik. Itna protective hona bhi sahi nahi hai. Bechari itne dino se ghar mein baiti hai....let go out." Abhi spoke up.

"Haan, aur main hoon na apni behen ke saath... kuch nahi hoga." Cabir assured Manik. 

"Ok fine.....lets go." Finally Manik sighed and agreed.

"Acha sun, humare do dost aa sakte hai kya?" Cabir asked.

"Tere kaunse dost hai jisko main nahi jaanta?" Manik asked.

"Actually Navya ka cousin hai aur uska dost....America se aaye hai toh we thought why not tell them to jon us."

"Yeah I guess Navya ka bhai hai toh of course aa sakte hai." Manik agreed.

"Wait...bhai aap Shivin aur Max ke baat kar rahe hai?" Nandini got excited seeing which Manik started to feel a bit jealous.

"Haan wahi dono aaye hai."

"Wow...unn dono se mile hue kitne din ho gaye."

"Okay...maybe we should all go get ready now." Manik interrupted. 

"Haan, Nandini tum humare saath chalo." Navya took Nandini with her & Mukti while the boys went to another room to get ready.

"Mukti....iski bakki ke kapre kya next shipment mein aane wala hai?" Nandini asked as she held up the white lace crop top and black mini skirt. "I mean haan main jab bar dancer thi tab maine chote kapre pehne hai par...yeh kuch zyada chote nahi hai?"

"Relax babes....you will look awesome. Manik dekta reh jayega." Mukti replied. "Chalo ab jaldi se yeh pehen lo, phir main makeup kar dungi."

So the girls put on their clothes and quickly did their makeup then went downstairs where the boys were ready and waiting for them.

As Nandini came down the stairs, her hair bouncing on her shoulders with each step....Manik couldnt take his eyes off her. 

"Muh band kar varna makki ghus jayega." Cabir whispered to Manik. Manik quickly shut his mouth and glared at his friend who smirked and walked away.

"Chale guys? Navya tumhara bhai aur uska dost seedha club mein meet karega na?" Abhi asked.

"Haan Haan...maine Shivin ko address de diya hai. Pauch jayega woh."

"Great."

The 6 of them drove to a club nearby and entered after parking their cars. Suddenly Manik heard Nandini's scream and turned round to see a man spinning her around.

"Lo aa gaya mera saala. Shivin Arora." Cabir said with a smile.

"Shiv!" Nandini squealed in delight and hugged the man tightly.

"Hey Nanz long time no see yaar!" Shivin hugged Nandini back.

"Shiv? Iska naam already chota hai...aur kitna chota karegi Nandini..aur yeh Nanz kaisa naam hai? Meri biwi ka acha khasa naam ko bigaar raha hai yeh...yeh... bandar. Haan bandar hi hai....baal toh dekho iska. Who does he think he is, Nandini se itna kyun chipak raha hai?" Manik thought as his blood boiled.

(Shivin Arora: Navya's maternal cousin, lives in USA. Good friend of Nandini.)

Seeing Manik's expressions, Cabir felt like laughing so hard but he controlled himself and instead pulled Manik along with him.

"Shivin...kaisa hai tu?"

"Hey Jiju, Im great. Aap kaise ho?" Shivin greeted Cabir with one arm slung around Nandini's shoulders.

"Guys....main bhi yahan hoon." Another man spoke up from behind Shivin.

"Hey Max!" Nandini smiled at him.

"Hey Nandini...Cabir, Navya whats up guys?" Max greeted.

"Oh by the way...Shivin, Max yeh hai mera dost. Manik." Cabir introduced Mnaik who was throwing daggers at Shivin with his eyes. The whole time not taking his eyes off the arm that Shivin had around Nandini.

"Hey dude. Im Shivin Arora, Navya ki maasi ka beta."

"Im Manik Malhotra." Manik grabbed Nandini's arm and pulled her away from Shivin. "Nandini ka pati."

"Nice to meet you." Shivin & Max greeted him. Manik just curtly nodded.

At that moment the music changed and Nandini & Shivin looked at eachother excited.

"Nanz....its our song!" Shivin grabbed Nandini's arm and pulled her onto the dance floor.

"Cabir....why.... do they have a song!?" Manik fumed. Cabir held his laugh in and just shrugged. 

"They are very very close. Back when Shivin used to live here, uss vaqt har din, har raat yeh dono saath mein hote they."

"Raat?" Manik's eyes widened.

Soon Cabir, Navya and Abhi Mukti also joined them and Manik was left sitting at the side with Max. 

After a bit,  Manik got up and left the place.

Finally the song was over and everyone went back to where Max was waiting.

"Guys, main na drinks leke aati hoon. Kisiko chahiye?" Nandini announced. Everyone told her what they wanted and Nandini went towards the bar area. As she was walking someone grabbed her and pulled her into a corridor.

"Manik..." Nandini gasped as Manik pinned her against the wall. "Kya kar rahe ho tum?"

"Main? Tum kya kar rahi ho Nandini? Kyun uss navya ke bhai ke saath itna chipak chipak ke dance kar rahi thi? Wahan Mukti aur Navya apne apne patiyon ke saath dance kar rahe they aur tum? Jabse woh Shivin aaye hai, you are literally ignoring me." 

"Haan toh?" Nandini shoved Manik's hands off her. "Main toh sirf Dance kar rahi thi. Tum aur Aliya toh paata nahi kya kya karte rehte ho...maine kabhi bhi kuch bola? Nahi na? Because tumhe ne bola tha ki tum iss rishte ko maante hi nahi ho. Toh ab main Shiv ke saath dance karun ya kuch aur...meri marzi. Tumhe itni problem kun ho raha hai?"

"Because I LOVE YOU!" Manik yelled. "Pyar karta hoon tumse, Nandini!"

Nandini smiled as Manik finally confessed.

"I know...maine humesha tumhe dard diya hai. I married you to make Aliya jealous phir tumse shaadi karne ke baad bhi I didnt give you that place. Honestly Nandini jab maine tumhe pehli baar bar main dekha tha....it felt like main bohot saalon se tumhe jaanta hoon and like main kabse sirf tumhara intezaar kar raha tha. Lekin uss waqt, I didnt want to accept that I was feeling something for you.....kya karun gadha hoon na main. And rahi baat Aliya ki toh.....I was with her for years, maine humesha khud ko kahan ki I love her par jo ehsaas mujhe tumhare saath milta hai...woh ehsaas aaj tak Aliya ke saath nahi mila. Jab main Aliya ke saath thi it was always just about Aliya lekin tum....tum bina kuch mange humesha mere aur mere family ke baare mein sochti ho. Tumhara aur Aliya ka toh koi comparison hi nahi hai Nandini....maybe thats why, mujhe khud hi nahi paata mujhe tumse kab pyar ho gaya."

Nandini was super happy to hear Manik but she put on a sad face. "Woh sab toh thik hai Manik lekin ek baat na tumhe paata nahi hai...Shiv ke baare."

"Seriously Nandini? Maine itni special baat bola aur tum...uss Shivin ko beech mein la rahi ho?"

"Manik...tumhara yeh jaana important hai."

"K..Kya?" Manik got worried.

"Woh...Shivin na...." Nandini hesitated.

"KYA?"

"Shivin is completely in love with..." Nandini paused and watched as Manik was getting angry. "...Max!"

"He-wait what?" Manik asked in shock as Nandini started laughed. 

"Manik....Shiv is totally gay...Max uska pati hai!" 

"I...you....what! Par Cabir ne toh bola tha ki...this was a plan." Manik finally understood. "Aur....tum bhi involved thi?"

"Bhai ka plans...thoda sa extra hota hai par humesha kaam karta hai." Nandini laughed.

"You're still laughing? Paata hai main kaisa feel kar raha tha...jao baat nahi karta main tumse. Raho apne bhai ke plans ke saath. I hate you." Manik turned to leave but Nandini grabbed his collar and pulled him close to her. 

"Sorry Mr Manik Malhotra. Par ab jab tumne I love you bol diya hai toh....tumhare paas mujhse pyar karne ke elava aur koi choice hi nahi hai." 

Manik chuckled and leaned closer until she was pinned to the wall again and his nose touched her nose. "Okay fine...tumhe main maaf kar sakta hoon. Par uss Cabir ke bache ko toh main abhi dekhta hoon." 

Manik left to go yell at Cabir while Nandini followed behind, making their way through the crowd.

"Ma-mnm!" Nandini called out to Manik when a hand with a black glove on closed over her hand and dragged her away. Sensing something, Manik turned back but didnt see Nandini. Thinking she was just left behind because of the crowd, Manik shrugged the feeling that something was wrong off and continued towards his friends.
