royce felt a shove and shot up instantly, almost smacking her father in the process.

"rory, pepper. get up we have to get ready for practice or whatever you kids call it. today is important," johnny pointed to the half awake teenage girls.

"we have no dog," royce mumbled, throwing herself down once again as lily laughed and did the same.

johnny shook his head, "WAKE UP," he yelled, making the two bump heads.

"i'm gonna punch you in the throat if you don't put me down right now," royce threatened her boyfriend, who was holding her in a bridal way.

"no," hawk stated. making royce roll her eyes, she smirked and leaned her head on his shoulder. waiting a couple of seconds she bit his shoulder.

"oh fuck," hawk grimaced, "did you just bite me?".

royce nodded, "now let me down or i'll do it harder."

"no", hawk just said as he continued walking.

"cant believe sensei qtip is making us do this shit in the woods," royce scoffed.

"you're going down," hawk smirked.

"hey dad," royce greeted her dad with a sad smile and hugged him tightly as he did the same but with a kiss to her head.

"i'm okay rory," he mumbled. royce nodded.

"sensei i'm sorry for your loss," miguel sincerely said.

royce walked away from the two so they can have their conversation .

"hey bitch, hey ma," royce greeted her boyfriend and her close friend lily.

"hey girly," lily smiled.

"hey babe," hawk smirked and kissed her deeply, making her squeal.

"you're hot," royce winked to her boyfriend.

"you're hotter."

johnny gagged at the pair before walking into his office, making the two laugh.

"everybody get your gi's on," johnny announced.

"i thought we were going into the woods for special training?", miguel asked.

"i wasn't here so," royce shrugged. earning a look from kreese, making johnny nudge the old man.

"what's happening in the woods?"

"i thought it was good to separate the the men from the boys.. and the girls i suppose." kreese informed his old student.

"hi tory," royce smiled and waved to the girl next to her.

"hey rory", tory did the same and gave the girl a side hug.

"we're ready sensei", hawk announced, speaking for everyone.

"let's go".

"i swear this is the death of me," royce spoke to hawk.

"suck it up babe."

royce picked up leaves from the ground, "look!", she showed lily.

"it's a leaf," lily tried to hide her little smile.

"it's a pretty one babe," hawk smiled then quickly put it away.

"here lils," she handed the leaf to her close friend.

"here babe, a rock 'cause it's you".

royce stood across from hawk , who was wearing a red headband.  she was wearing a black one.

she smirked, she was coming with a way to win this.

as everybody walked away, she walked up to a closer tree, looking around to make sure nobody is near.

she started to climb the tree, getting to the thick branch. she sat on it as she looked at some people fighting. she smirked to herself.

"hey dad," royce whispered slightly. johnny looked around, making sure he wasn't hearing things.

"up here", royce whispered.

"what are you doing?"

"winning"

johnny shook his head and smiled, definitely a lawrence. he walked away.

watching as everyone fought, there was a couple people left. royce was waiting for the right moment.

"ouch these branches hurting my ass", royce grimaced and laughed at herself.

she watched as everybody sat down on a long log.

miguel came up holding a headband, revealing it to be hawk's.

"finish him," royce could hear kreese's words.

she shook her head and saw miguel spin kick hawk in the face.

"damn".

"TEAM BLACK," miguel shouted. as everyone started shouting.

suddenly a pile of leaves started to move, stingray came up from behind and put miguel into a choke hold.

she saw him take miguel's headband off as everyone in the red team started cheering.

"wait- where's royce?", aisha asked , making everyone go silent.

"uh-"

royce took this as her dramatic entrance and flung herself off the branch, landing on stingrays back as he tried to fight her off. everyone was cheering.

she put stingray in a chokehold and put all her weight down so he could fall. which he did.

royce smirked as she took his red headband.

"suckers," royce stuck her tongue out as miguel put her on his shoulders.

"I DID IT DAD LOOK," royce smiled happily which he smiled too.

"THE BLACK TEAM JUST WON." royce shouted as stingray laid on the floor.

"good work ms.lawrence," sensei kreese said. royce sent a small nod.

"robbyyyyy," royce dragged out the y as she helped robby fold his shirts in daniel's home.

"what happened?"

"did y'all kiss?", royce smiled.

"yeah we did," robby smiled at his twin.

royce smacked his head once, "you did it , but i aint telling you why i smacked your head".

he smacked hers back, "same loser".

"treat her good ,alright?", royce hugged her brother.

"i know".

there were knocks heard as royce skipped down the stairs, "i'll open it!."

"no rory, it's not our house, we can't just-"

royce opened the door nonetheless, "oh hi miggy!".

"hey royce.. what's he doing here?", miguel noticed robby.

"no what are you doing here," robby stood in front of royce. she shoved him as she went back to her spot.

"i'm not here to fight, i just came to bring something back." miguel held his hand up, revealing the medal of honor.

"miggy.. did you take that?" royce asked.

"no it wasn't me. and i had nothing to do with what happened to your dojo," miguel apologized.

robby snatched the golden star out of his hands.

"we're not all assholes." miguel stated and walked away. "just tell sam i said sorry."

"i'll do it since roberto won't," royce smiled and gave a quick kiss on miguel's cheek. "bye mig".

robby shut the door, "you're so gross".

"no, now i'm going to go bother sam".
