“Why were you so quiet today? Is there something bothering you?” Yoongi asks while packing up his briefcase.

“No, I’m just tired.”

“Then you should go home,” says Jimin.

“I will as soon as I finish my last three cases. I was kind of lost in my thoughts today and worked slower than usual.”

“Hm okay, take care. We will see you on Monday,” says Yoongi.

Jungkook waves the two goodbye and goes back to his work.

The office is now almost empty. Only Jungkook and two other people remain, finishing of the last bit of work before the weekend.

Jungkook lifts his eyes from the computer when he hears the familiar voices.

“It was great seeing you again.”

“Good night, Hobi,” says Taehyung before stepping out of the elevator.

“Good night, Taebear,” Jhope says and blows him a kiss.

Taebear…what a ridiculous nickname. Thought Jungkook and rolls his eyes.

“Hey Jungkook, why didn’t you come to my office in lunch break.”

“Because I didn’t want to be a third wheel,” mumbles Jungkook and turn off his computer.

“What is that suppose to mean?” Taehyung asks completely oblivious.

Jungkook ignores his question and starts packing his briefcase.

“Jungkook? Did I do something to upset you?”

Jungkook continuous to ignore him and starts walking towards the elevator.

“Hey, don’t walk away. Let’s talk about it.”

“There is nothing to talk about,” says Jungkoook and steps into the elevator.

Taehyung blocks the elevator door with his hand and also step in.

“That was a lie. You’re clearly upset with me.”

Silence grew between the two, only the sound of the moving elevator could be heard.

“Is it because of Jhope?”

“OF COUSE IT IS ABOUT HIM…I thought we had something special, but no y-you have a boyfriend!” Jungkook yells as tears start falling.

“Jhope is n-“

“I DON’T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT HIM!” interrupts Jungkook.

“What I don’t understand is how y-you could made me so…so happy. I like you but I was a fool to think that you would like me too and-”

Taehyung puts his finger on Jungkook’s lips to shut him up.

“Jhope is my cousin. We were in the same school and grew up together, so we are close like brothers,” Taehyung says making Jungkook freeze.

“I thought- this is so embarrassing,” Jungkook mumbles and cover his face with his hands.

Taehyung smiles as he removes Jungkook’s hands from his face and wipes his tears.

“I’m glad we cleared out that misunderstanding, but can we talk about the other thing you said,” says Taehyung making Jungkook’s eyes widen.

“I appreciate your confession…and I also want to make a confession.”

Taehyung steps closer and puts his one hand on Jungkook’s waist, bring him closer. While gazing in Jungkook’s eyes, he takes Jungkook’s hand and places a soft kiss on it.

“I like you too.”

A smile spread across his face when Jungkook’s cheeks turn red.

“You do?”

“Yes, so how about we go on a dinner date tomorrow night.”

“I would love that,” Jungkook says without any hesitation.

“Aright then I will see you tomorrow, Good night Jungkook,” says Taehyung and he didn’t forget to add a wink.

“Good night, Taehyung.”

Jungkook steps out of the elevator and looks over his shoulder, Taehyung gives him a little wave before the elevator door close.

“Did that just happen?” Jungkook asks himself.

“Holy shit!” squeals Jungkook and then sprints out of the building with a huge smile, unable to contain his excitement.
