CHAPTER TWO !!
-> "ICE CREAM! "

The city had finally woken up and the rays of sunshine filled every house. New York as busy as ever, was filled with people going on about their day, the shops were filled with tourists and natives. The cars honking was the noise that filled everyone's ears.

Tessa was getting ready when the bell rang. She excitedly hops to the door to greet her best friend. Gracie was wearing a blue dress with matching blue ribbon that tied her hair in a half updo. She looked at her in awe, staring and wondering how someone could be so effortlessly pretty.

"Tess?" Gracie spoke out loud and Tessa snapped out of it. She smiled and continued to put her makeup on.

"So where are we going today?" Gracie asks and puts her hand on Tessa's shoulder. "I'm sure you have somewhere planned for today. Like you always do" She chuckled.

Tessa shook her head and laughed, "You know me very well." They both leave the house and start making their way through the street. Both girls walk close together hands linked together .Gracie keeps looking around trying to find out where Tessa was sending her. Since Tessa just loved being so mysterious.

"Hey, Tess" Gracie speaks out again,"What's with that look on your face? You seem happy but there is also something else that I don't know about...ALSO where are we going?"

Tessa fazed with herself flashes a big bright smile as she makes a joyous turn."We are going to get ice cream!" Tessa answered happily as they kept walking.

Gracie raised an eyebrow at Tessa but decided not to mention anything. After all Tessa would tell her if anything big happened in her life.
That's what friends did right? They supported each other in any kind of situation. And since Tessa knew this, she had nothing to worry about. Plus she didn't want to ruin her good mood.

The streets of New York were filled with traffic, which Tessa enjoyed more than anything. She thrived in a busy city, never got bored or tired of being around people. That's why she loves this place so much. It gave her a chance to experience the different things happening in life. And she loved it. She felt like a part of something bigger in this bustling world.

Tessa never wanted to lose sight of the feeling of accomplishment. She loved the freedom and the sense of adventure that came from doing something amazing and new for the first time.

They finally stopped at the small corner ice cream parlor that had its window covered in black curtains with white stripes. As soon as Gracie recognised the place she turned to look at Tessa. "Isnt this the place-" Gracie didnt have ti finish the sentence because she didnt have to, to understand her friend's face.

"Yes, but to be completely honest i miss coming here. Yes i know there may be some memories attached to this place but still...." Tessa knew coming here would fill her mind with memories of all sorts. Like when he'd always come here every morning to buy her favourite ice cream flavour- But this day signs a new start, a new beginning. Now she'd make it a place to fill with new memories..

They went inside and were greeted by a middle aged woman that recognised Tessa almost immediately. "Oh Tessa! It has been a long while hasn't it? How are you? What brings you here?" Her voice was warm and gentle like the rest of her personality. Tessa liked it a lot. Her eyes shone as bright as her smiles.

"I am fine thanks, Martha. I've missed your ice creams and I really wanted to drop by." Tessa turned to Gracie and introduced her to Martha.
"This is my best friend Gracie."

"Oh i know her!"Martha exclaimed and smiled " My daughter wont do anything but listen to her and you all day!Thank you, she's been really happy lately listening to your songs."

Gracie couldn't help but blush at Martha's comment. "Well please thank her from us! Im so happy that she enjoys pur songs."

Tessa spoke up then"So what flavour do you want Grace?" She looked at the variety of flavours and insisted on choosing strawberry and vanilla sprinkled with cookie crumbs.

Martha knew exactly what ice cream flavour Tessa would get "The usual?" And tessa nodded, smiling.

The girls were both texting when they left the ice cream parlor and didnt notice 2 people come in and out of the shop.

Both still talking at texting the group chat they bump into the other 2 people.
The other 2 were running as if they were being chased down by herds. The 2 also had ice cream in their hands.

"OH MY GOD ITS HER! IS THAT ALESSANDRA AND TESSA?!" A girl shouted from the end of the street. Tessa panicked and bumped head first to a boy and the girl. The boy didnt

The boy didnt even bother saying sorry and rushed to a narrow street to hide. The other girl stopped looked Tessa in the eye. "Oh my god so so sorry." She bowed as a sign of apology and rushed following the other boy.

That left Tessa and Gracie and the die-hard fangirls. Tessa grabbed Gracie's hand and ran as fast as they could.

Louis' and Alessandra's lungs were burning as they finally stopped running from the fans. Still panting Alessandra bursts out laughing out loud."That was amazing!!"

Louis chuckled as he tripped and fell down on the street. "That was a workout."

Lessy brought up her phone and snapped a picture, laughing so hard she couldnt breathe.
