what is an a/n? || an a/n is an authors note. it's basically a passage from the author.

what's the point of an a/n? || to inform the reader about changes in plot, characters, update schedule, etc.

how long should an a/n be? || it can be just a simple "hi!" or a paragraph long. don't go over three paragraphs unless it's necessary to do that! if it spills over three paragraphs you should make a new chapter for the a/n. it can be annoying for the reader to have to scroll through it, especially when the story is already completed. if you make a new chapter for the a/n, also move all the a/n chapters to either the beginning or the end. then in the actual chapter you can write an a/n that says "please check out a/n #X!".
