๐ฃ ย ๐โย ย โโ mรนlรกn wasn't a clumsy person. she was human of course, but it wasn't a common thing for her. so that wasn't the reason this had happened. she had always been sick, slipping into slight slumps where her body couldn't keep up. after coming back from her hiatus she had been a lot better so that couldn't be the reason either. mรนlรกn didn't really know why or how it happened, all she knew though was that she was in a lot of pain.
they were almost finished with rehearsal for their comeback showcase. only a couple more run through as of the sidetracks before they could call it quits for the day. mรนlรกn swore the lyrics of drama had been imprinted into her skull, dance moves coming pretty much naturally at this point. so naturally that her head was already processing the next steps.
her sneakers had screeched against the smooth floor, the movement of her fall had momentum blowing through her hair. nobody had even processed the loud crack and snap that followed after her face ricocheted into the floor.
their first reaction was to laugh, expecting her to sulk a bit before standing back up and getting ready to start over. their laughs died down fast when mรนlรกn instead laid on the floor, hand cupping her face as she let out choked groans and cries of pain.
"are you ok?" taehyun asked, squatting down beside her and attempting to get a look at her face. "no." mรนlรกn shook her head, voice cracking as she spoke. yeonjun crouched next to her, one hand rubbing her back lightly while the other helped her up carefully. "let me see it."
mรนlรกn could tell it wasn't good, aside from the fact she was in extreme pain. her nose had gone slightly numb, blood stuffing her up before it dripped down into her hand. she was reluctant to let go, somehow scared it might hurt even more if she didn't shield it from the world. though with light coaxing from yeonjun she slowly lowered her hand.
the crowds reaction wasn't great. each of them groaning, or wincing, or looking away instinctively. mรนlรกn's nose had been bent awkwardly, blood smearing along her upper lip before trailing down to her chin. it wasn't a pretty sight
yeonjun looked like he wanted to gag but he held it back, not wanting to freak mรนlรกn out more than she was. "i think it's broken." he told her. "is it bad?" mรนlรกn asked as she cupped her nose once again. "it's not, don't worry." soobin assured her, giving her shoulder a light squeeze as her dialed for an ambulance.
there was a brief moment of silence as the group left the practice room. the call for the ambulance went quicker than they expected. all they really had to do was wait now.
"i wish we got that on camera." kai sighed, sitting in the first lobby's chair he could reach. "it would've been hilarious to rewatch." mรนlรกn's eyes squinted at him. slowly she sat down in her own chair, a couple tissues squished under her palm. "yes, breaking my nose is the funniest thing in the world." kai shook his head rapidly at her. "no, no, no! just the part were you fell... i could make millions off of that."
