i walked into my room and sat down on my bed, turning my phone on. my lock screen was full of notifications from twitter, instagram, and twitch, but i ignored them for now. i unlocked my phone and went straight to youtube, planning to just watch a few videos for a small bit.

i clicked on a random video of quackitys and lied back in my bed, crawling under the blankets. once i finished the video, i watched tommys newest modded video with phil, wilbur, and charlie. the video was almost 20 minutes long, but i still watched it, unaware of the time. i kept on getting notifications as i watched, but i just ignored them. well, most of them besides texts. one text in particular caught my eye the most.

awesome, streams starting now !!

I removed youtube from my viewing history and clicked on maribeths contact, ready to call her. i pulled my laptop onto my lap and went straight to twitch. i pulled up beths stream and saw her introducing the stream. "okay, also, before we get to animal crossing, i am waiting for a call from a certain person, so once we get that call, we'll get started." she smiled at the camera and pulled her phone onto screen.

i took this as my cue and facetimed her instead of actually calling her, so the chat could see my face. she answered the call and waved to me. i put the phone extremely close to my face "howdy beth!" i yelled in my famous southern accent. beth turned her phone to the camera and i watched as the chat went wild.

"okay, im gonna figure out how to screen share my screen onto my stream, so chat can see you!" it took beth about ten minutes to figure it out and then she started up her game.

we talked for about an hour and a half as she played her game. i just watched as she did so, noticing little things, like how she furrowed her brows when she placed something down in the wrong spot and how she smiled when her favourite villager gave her a present.

her stream went on for three hours, but she got off animal crossing after two hours or so. we just chatted after that. "can you show us your nails?" beth repeated a question someone in chat had asked.

she put her hands up to her camera and let her chat look at her nails. they were painted yellow. nothing really special about them, yet they suit her, seeing as yellow is her favourite colour. "i painted them this morning cause i got bored." she smiled at chat.

i then put my hand to my camera to show my painted nails. "look, chat!" i called. "my nails are painted too!" i smiled at my camera and showed off my pink and white nails.

beth laughed at my actions and partially covered her face with one of her hands. music was playing quietly in the background of her stream, but was turned up when 'i hear a symphony' by cody fry came on.

maribeth jumped in her chair and started swaying in it. "oh, what i would give to slow dance to this in an empty ballroom." she closed her eyes and tilted her head back. "its so soothing." i spoke, closing my eyes and taking in the music.

she ended the stream half an hour after the song ended, but we still stayed on call. we both took numerous photos of each other, laughing at stupid faces we were making or something of that sort.

she was now sitting outside and i was walking to my kitchen to grab a snack. we talked about a lot of random things before we both decided to call it a night. we said goodnight and ended the call.
