i got out of bed and changed into something a little more comfortable for the day and left my house. i got into my car and drove off to maribeths apartment.

i drove into the huge parking garage in front the the tall apartment complex and got out of my car. the walk out of the parking garage was long, considering i had to park on the top floor, but i made it out in at least ten minutes.

i left the parking garage and walked into the complex, heading straight for the elevator. i stepped into the elevator and pushed the 3. i waited patiently for the elevator to go up as the stereotypical elevator music played.

when the lift stopped and the door opened, i stepped out and turned left down the hall. i stopped in front of the apartment labeled 37 and knocked. the door opened quickly and i was greeted by a hug from beth.

"you didn't bring the meet the robinsons dvd, you lied." she sighed. "i forgot to grab it." i shrugged. she pulled me into her apartment and closed the door.

beth shook her head and laughed. "im disappointed, jacobs, very disappointed." i followed her over to her couch and sat down.

"so be disappointed, white." she sat down beside me and grabbed the remote off of the table. "what are we watching, karlos? you're the guest." she looked over to me and waited for my response.

"icarly." she instantly scoffed. "damn, so nonchalant about it. you're lucky im not putting on gotham or shameless just to annoy you." she laughed while turning icarly on.

"you know i was joking, right?" i looked over to her. beth shook her head and looked to me. "no you weren't." she spoke before turning back towards the tv.

we got through about five episodes and i was now lying on her lap watching the show. i could hear her snicker at random points in the episode.

my phone vibrated from my pocket and i pulled it out to check the notification. i turned my phone on and heard beth snort as a twitter notification lit up my screen.

i looked up at her with a confused look on my face. "did you just snort?" she continued laughing and nodded.
