✧⇢TALA. Starting off with something easy I see.

✧⇢TALA. So this is from our debut song Genie and this means, 'I, your genie, will grant them' which makes a lot more sense when you hear the previous line which is 'Tell me your wish without holding back.'

✧⇢TALA. This was my line in the last Post-Chorus and this is actually a high note line. It was one of the last lyrics I wrote for the song.

✧⇢TALA. I just can't leave you alone, can we get even closer?

✧⇢TALA. (giggles) So seductive.

✧⇢TALA. So this is from my debut title, Closer and it was the first lyric I wrote for the song and originally Closer was not part of the tracklist but then I wrote it and knew it had to be.

✧⇢TALA. (whispers) It's about my boyfriend (laughs).

✧⇢TALA. I'll never change my love, I'll never change my love.

✧⇢TALA. (smiles) This is so easy, it's in my top 3 GeNiE tracks.

✧⇢TALA. So this is from our 1st EP, Tell Me and it's from a song called Love.

✧⇢TALA. When I wrote this line during our debut promotions, I had a crush on a male idol. So this was like top level delusion.

✧⇢TALA. (laughs) But it made a great song!

✧⇢TALA. Nal aju hetgallige jjajeung nage mandeureo.

✧⇢TALA. So this is from Bother Me, which is the 2nd track on my debut album.

✧⇢TALA. This was the first line I wrote and it wasn't for Bother Me, it was one of those like random lines I just thought of but I stumbled across it and made a song surrounding this line.

✧⇢TALA. And it turned out to be Bother Me.

✧⇢TALA. Nan al geot gata sarange bbajin du saram.

✧⇢TALA. So this is from Hush, our 2nd studio album, it's a song called Time To Love and this lyric means 'I think I know, two people in love'.

✧⇢TALA. This song was the last to be written for the album, finished it about three months before the release and it was inspired by Emi and Mayumi's relationship.

✧⇢TALA. They werdn't dating yet but you could just see the love between them and actually it's because they weren't dating that I named it Time To Love. Kind of a message to her. Like go for it Emi!

✧⇢TALA. And she did so it worked. (laughs)

✧⇢TALA. Yes you can watch me watch me but you can't touch me touch me.

✧⇢TALA. So this is from Do Not Touch, our most recent Japanese title.

✧⇢TALA. Yeoreum actually came up with this line and then I wrote the rest of the song in English and then we used Emi as a translator.

✧⇢TALA. It was very fun to make!

✧⇢TALA. In my dream I just gave you my star, I feel silly when I look into your eyes.

✧⇢TALA. So this is from my debut album and it is from a song called Sunset.

✧⇢TALA. The first line is one of my favourite lines ever, it's just so so cute.

✧⇢TALA. Many people think it's about my boyfriend which to be honest is kind of my fault for making the whole album about him (laughs).

✧⇢TALA. But no, it's about my members, when I wrote this song, we hadn't met in person in months because we all had busy schedules and all and it was our first time really being separated for so long honestly so I was very bummed out about it.

✧⇢TALA. Listening to this song always makes me shed a tear no matter what. (laughs) So good thing you didn't play it.

✧⇢TALA. Okay I'm on a roll here (laughs).

✧⇢TALA.  I'm a genie in a bottle baby, you gotta rub me the right way honey.

✧⇢TALA. (laughs) This song is just... so... sexual. (laughs)

✧⇢TALA. So this is lyric is from Genie In A Bottle and it is our first and only English song as of right now.

✧⇢TALA. So I wrote the first line like weeks before I wrote the second. Originally it was supposed to be like PG 13 vibes (laughs) but the members were like eff that, let's just do what we want.

✧⇢TALA. (smiles) And it became this iconic song.

✧⇢TALA. (giggles)

✧⇢TALA. Just want ten minutes, nae geosi doeneun sigan.

✧⇢TALA. (facepalms & laughs) You guys really had to bring this one didn't you?

✧⇢TALA. So this is from 10 Minutes which was our first album we released after our hiatus.

✧⇢TALA. And this line means, 'Just want 10 minutes, the time when you become mine'.

✧⇢TALA. On it's own it's not a bad line till you hear the rest of the song (laughs).

✧⇢TALA. So just want to clarify, these lyrics stemmed out of jealousy but they were writen as a joke and they weren't even considered for the album.

✧⇢TALA. But when we heard the beat that was going to be used for our title, Yeoreum sang this exact lyric to the beat and it matched so well that we just had to use it.

✧⇢TALA. So this song's existence is Yeoreum's fault (laughs).

✧⇢TALA. Neoraneun han songi kkochi pieona.

✧⇢TALA. (smiles) This is probably one of my favourite lyrics ever. It's from Rose on my debut album and this lyric means 'A flower called you is blooming.'

✧⇢TALA. Isn't it just so cute? I wrote it in April of this year cause all the flowers were in full bloom and everywhere was so pretty and then I completed the song a few weeks later.

✧⇢TALA. I'd say it's in my top 3 from the album.

✧⇢TALA. Feel my rythm, come with me, sangsanghae bwa modeunji.

✧⇢TALA. This is from Feel My Rythm which was the title track of our last album Perfect 10 which also was to celebrate our anniversary.

✧⇢TALA. The last part means imagine anything and I wrote and finished this song in about a week and it was already confirmed to be in the album but I wasn't satisfied with that.

✧⇢TALA. The members wanted Perfect 10 as the title which is now the 1st bside on the album because they wanted a concept similar to our last comeback Bad Boy but I fought hard for Feel My Rythm because it's just such a sweet and happy song and it felt way more fitting for our 10th anniversary.

✧⇢TALA. So eventually the members and the company agreed and Feel My Rythm became the title!

✧⇢TALA. Now that I think about it, it would've been really embarrassing if I didn't know one of these (laughs).

✧⇢TALA. But no, all these songs are very dear to me and they matter a lot. I don't think they were all our biggest songs though (laughs).
