But when Katniss Everdeen blows up the forcefield, and Peeta finds himself captured by the Capitol, Hermione finds herself more and more inclined to stay behind to fix the damage.

To Peeta, Hermione had been dead for longer than he could remember, but with his hijacked mental state hazy, it appears that latching onto a familiar face is all he needs. With a war imminent, it becomes increasingly clear that Hermione must decide whether her loyalty lies with those who she has fought with her entire life, or he who has her heart.

But regardless of her decision, fire is catching, and the time has come to set the flares alight.

Hello lovely people!

She did it again - it's an illusion, pretend you don't see it.

Okay but for real, I take absolutely no blame for the creation of another new book. Before I had even completely developed this idea, Vee said the words "DO IT" and that is why we are here.

So this idea stemmed from an edit that I uploaded to my Youtube about a month back, of a crossover between Peeta and Hermione. It was a little random, but I enjoyed exploring the possibilities of them as a potential pairing and I loved how the video turned out, so when I managed to come up with a plot for them I just had to use it. I don't know what it is about this couple but I just love them, and I hope even though the pairing may seem a little random at first that you guys enjoy it as much as I do.

I will say that this book is completely a HG AU, and so while Harry, Ron and Hermione are all major characters, they are not wizards and they do not go to Hogwarts. I've seen quite a few crossovers between these two fandoms before, and while I enjoy the concept of the two fandoms completely crossing over, I wanted to do something a little different with it.
