Taeyong stared at Jaehyun with wide eyes.

Jaehyun gave Taeyong a smile as he gave space to the elder, "I'm heading to work right now, I'll just drop you off to wherever you're going."

Taeyong sweat dropped as he took out his wallet, "D-Don't worry, I'm just heading to the park by the apartment." He was too flustered of what Jaehyun had said earlier.

"Because you're worth it."

Luckily, the cab was dark, so his red face wouldn't be so visible to Jaehyun. The younger just smiled at Taeyong's silhouette as he looked out the window to see Seoul's streets.

Tension filled the air, well, except for the traffic, it was super noisy with all the cars beeping at each other.

Taeyong gulped, his mind constantly going back to whatever Jaehyun had said earlier. Clearly, Taeyong was embarrassed, like, his crush just said that.

"Uhm," Taeyong cleared his throat as he looked at Jaehyun nervously, the younger looked at him with a glint of worry in his eyes, "What is it?"

"Ah," Taeyong smiled, "about what you said earlier.." he paused, ".. what do you mean.. I'm worth it..?"

Jaehyun's worst nightmare has begun. The younger wished that Taeyong wouldn't speak of that ever again, he was wrong, the older was of course, curious of what he said.

Man up, Jaehyun! He thought, Take this opportunity to say what you feel!

"Uh," Jaehyun looked at Taeyong straight in the eye. He was going to do it, he will confess his feelings for Lee Taeyong. There was no backing down for Jaehyun, he really needed to man up. "I.."

"You..?" Taeyong raised a brow.

".. like you..."

Taeyong's eyes widened as he leaned closer to Jaehyun, "Wait, say that again?"

"I like you," Jaehyun repeated, this time, his voice sounded much more confident.

Taeyong blushed as he looked away from Jaehyun. Oh God, he confessed! He really confessed! And to me?! Oh my God! Taeyong mentally screamed at himself before looking back to Jaehyun.

"Yeah, I've been liking you for a while now.." Jaehyun stated, making Taeyong raise a brow. "Really?"

"Were my actions not enough to prove that I like you?" Jaehyun smiled, "I'm not the boy who tries to flirt or something like that, I really know nothing about love.." he said, "But then, I started to feel giddy and happy whenever you're around. You make me happy."

Taeyong's blush never left his face, "This is extremely embarrassing, why are you even confessing inside a cab?"

They both looked at the driver, who was just smiling in satisfaction, "I feel like a cupid even if I never did anything," the driver said, making the boys chuckle.

"Anyways, here's your stop," the driver the stopped the car. Jaehyun took out his cash and handed it to the driver, the latter looked at Jaehyun and smiled, "Enjoy life, kid. I'm giving you both a discount."

"I—" the driver then handed the money back before Jaehyun could say another word, "Go to your boyfriend now," the driver said before starting the engine once again.

Jaehyun looked at Taeyong before nodding at the driver, "Thank you, sir."

"No problem, kid," the driver smiled. Jaehyun then closed the door shut, and he swore, he heard the driver saying, "I need to give my wife a kiss at home."

Taeyong and Jaehyun both watched the cab as it went away. Then, Taeyong looked at Jaehyun and asked, "So," he started, "What are we?"

Jaehyun grinned, "After people confess to each other, what would they be?"

"Mutual feelings..?" Taeyong chuckled, "Boyfriends."

Jaehyun nodded, "That's right, and since I like you," Jaehyun then kneeled down and looked at Taeyong with his sparkling eyes, "Will you be my boyfriend?"

Taeyong smiled, "How could I ever say no?"

That night, Taeyong forgot about his little meet up with Ten.
