"NOOO!" Anika ran towards Meera but was blocked by the men.

CRASH!

"Faisal...go check. Is she dead?" Abdul asked. Faisal peeped over the edge and saw many brinks and concrete slabs had fallen over in a pile with a hand sticking out.

"Yes bhai," Faisal chuckled. "Nobody can live after this fall."

"This cant happen..This cant happen...No... No.... NO NO NO!" Anika screamed falling to the floor sobbing. "MEERA!"

"AAAAHH!" Meera screamed as she fell off the edge of the building. A few seconds later, she felt a hand grab onto wrist. Opening her eyes, Meera saw Kabir who had caught her from three floors below. "Kabir..."

"Hey...told you I'd save you." Kabir said. With both his hands, Kabir pulled Meera to safety and then pushed a dummy that he had beside him off the edge.

CRASH!

"NO NO NO! MEERA!" They heard Anika scream from above and looked at each other emotionally.

*Flashback*

"If you try any smartness...you will see the worst of me" Faisal told Meera. As he pushed her into the washroom, Meera quickly grabbed the cellphone that was lying on the table and slid it up her sleeve to hide it. Once she got out, she ran in a random direction.

"I know I wont be able to get away. I dont even know where I am....but I can make sure, you dont win." Meera took out the phone and looked around, "But who do I call? Everyone's phone's are bugged at home .."

Meera thought for a second, "I know....Kabir. Kabir isnt an Oberoi so his phone prob isnt tapped."

Phone call

K: Hello?

M: Kabir...

K: Meera? Oh my god where are you? How are you? Are you ok? Did they hurt you? Yo-

M: KABIR! Pls listen...I dont have much time, they could find me any time.

K: Tell me where you are. Ill come get you."

M: Nahi...I cant, I myself dont know where I am. Its the middle of some type of jungle. Yeah but I can tell you that they will take me to the hotel site tomorrow.

K: Svetlana?

M: You know about her?

K: Yes she just came by and asked for everything the Oberoi's own. Shivaay Uncle said yes.

M:WHAT! No no.

K: Of course, Meera you are his daughter. To save you-

M: They are not going to leave me! Kabir...Abdul & Faisal are also involved in this. They plan on throwing me off my own hotel to kill me once they get everything.

K: What...no, I wont let that happen. I wont let anything happen to you. Ill go tell Shivaay uncle right now.

M: No...dont..Svetlana has an eye on Ma & Papa's every move so they dont involve the police...infact she has an eye on the whole family.

K: Ok....I have an idea.

M: What?

K: For the idea...you will have to fall from the building.

M: Are you crazy? Ill die!

K: Meera do you really think Ill let you die? Trust me...Ill save you. You do trust me right?

M: I do...I do Kabir...

*Flashback Ends*

"Kabir!" Meera wrapped her arms around Kabir and sobbed.

"Its okay...you're ok Meera...." Kabir hugged Meera back then looked at her, "I thought you trusted me?"

"I do...but I still got scared. I couldnt see you anywhere and....today I thought I'd def die." Meera cried.

"Meera, " Kabir held Meera's face and looked in her eyes, "Til I am alive...I will never let anything happen to you. Ill always protect you."

"Really?" Meera smiled,"Why?"

Kabir was about to say something but stopped.

"Tell na Kabir. Why will you protect me?" Meera asked, even though she knew the reason, she wanted to hear him say it.

"Ill tell you...but not now.."Kabir looked around, "..not like this. Just wait a bit.... okay?"

"Okay...wait, Ma Papa!" Meera stood to go upstairs.

"Relax Meera...Ranveer uncle and some police officers also came. They will save Anika aunty & Shivaay uncle." Kabir replied.

"MEERA!" Anika sobbed falling to the ground.

"Sorry Auntyji, but your daughter killed our brother...she had to die." Abdul said.

"I wont leave you two!!" Anika screamed, "You-"

"If you feel so bad should I send you to your daughter?" Faisal sneered.

"Faisal.."

"No Bhai...anyways Auntyji has nothing left. Property gone...daughter gone...now its her turn." Faisal reached to grab Anika.

BANG! BANG!

"AAH!" Faisal yelled holding his arm which was now bleeding.

"Faisal!" Abdul and everyone else looked towards the stairs and saw Ranveer standing there with a gun and 5 more police men. "Shit."

"Dont try to run!" Ranveer said, "There are more police officers waiting for you downstairs."

"Mmn.." Shivaay groaned as he started to wake up.

"Shivaay..." Anika, still crying ran to Shivaay and lifted his head to her lap. She took one end of her saree and held it to his head to stop it from bleeding. "Shivaay...are you okay?"

"M..Me-Meera...wh-where...i..is...Me-Meera?" Shivaay mumbled, still not completely conscious.

"Meera is safe Shivaay bhaiyya." Ranveer replied.

"What? She is safe?" Anika looked at Ranveer with happiness. "Really?"

"Haan bhabhi...Kabir saved her. Meera had contacted Kabir & Kabir told me. Thats how we got here." Ranveer said. The police officers hand cuffed Abdul & Faisal while some EMT's came and put Shivaay on a stretcher and they all went downstairs.

"Mumma!" Meera stood near the ambulance with Kabir.

"Meeru...Mera bacha..." Anika ran to Meera and hugged and kissed her face. "You're okay right? Nothing happened to you?"

"Im fine Ma...absolutely fine" Meera looked at Anika and then hugged her again tightly, "I missed you."

"I missed you too...thank god nothing happened to you...if something had happened then-"

"Mumma Im fine...im right here...with you"

"Kabir..." Anika looked at Kabir with a smile, "Ill never forget what you did today. Thank you so much beta."

"Anika aunty pls dont say thanks ...afterall I lo-" Kabir stopped as Meera smirked at him.

"What beta?" Anika asked, confused.

"NO...How are you alive?" Faisal who was being brought down with his brother looked at Meera in anger. "This cant happen! Our revenge cant be incomplete!"

"You played some game with us...or else how can anyone survive that fall!" Abdul yelled. The two brothers were yelling and struggling against their handcuffs as they were pushed into a police jeep and taken away.

"Ma...How is Papa?" Meera asked.

"He is okay...They are taking him to the hospital. Im going with him. Kabir pls take Meera home"

"No Ma..Ill come to the hospital too." Meera objected.

"Meera...you should rest. Everyone must be waiting for you at home...ill call you as soon as Shivaay wakes up." Anika explained.

"Meera, Anika bhabhi is right...so much has happened. You need rest." Ranveer added.

"Okay..." Meera agreed reluctantly, "but you will call me right?"

"I will..." Anika chuckled and held out her pinky, "I pinky promise."

Location: Hospital

"Doctor...Shivaay is ok right?" Anika asked as she looked at the unconscious Shivaay through the window.

"Yes...he is absolutely fine. He was just unconscious because of blood loss and will have some weakness. You can go meet him now if you want." Without missing a moment, Anika ran into Shivaay's room.

"Thank you doctor." Ranveer replied. As the doctor left, Ranveer stood outside to give Shivaay & Anika time alone.

"Anika?" Shivaay opened his eyes as Anika sat down on the chair beside the bed. "How is Meera? Where is she?"

"She is safe..I sent her home with kabir."

"Kabir? How did he reach there?"

"Ill tell you later...first tell me, are you okay? You are not in pain right?"

"Im fine..Im fine Anika."

"You father daughter are excatly the same." Anika said. "Meera also said Mumma Im fine and you are saying the same...Im fine. As if you two saying Im fine will reduce my stress level. You guys dont understand what I went through na? On one side there was my daughter and on the other side my husband-"

"What?" Shivaay looked at Anika, "What did you just call me?"

"Husband..." Anika replied, "Why? Are you not my husband?"

"Does that mean....you forgave me?" Shivaay asked hopefully.

"Ill have to think...you wont break my heart again right?"

"Never" Shivaay replied.

"You will always trust me?"

"Til the day I die."

"You will love me alot?"

"I already do and I always will" Shivaay took her hand in his and kissed it.

"And most important...you will reduce your tadi?"

"Ummm....." Shivaay tapped his chin thinking.

"Shivaay!" Anika protested, "You cant leave your tadi for me?"

"For you.." Shivaay caught her hand as she got up and pulled her back down, "I can do anything...but did you forgive me?"

Smiling Anika nodded her head and Shivaay happily hugged her tightly.

"Yes! I love you I love you I love you!"

"I love you too Shivaay." Shivaay let go of Anika and looked at her with tears in his eyes. "Shivaay...why are you crying? Are you hurting somewhere? I'll call the doctor."

"No its just...I have been waiting for so long to hear I love you Shivaay from you again...(Sigh) Because of my one mistake...I lost so many years with you, I miss all of Meera's childhood, and its all my fault. Im so sorry Anika."

"Shivaay...lets not talk about this ok? Lets move on in life." Anika wiped Shivaay's tears, "Btw did you know, For his fav jiju Sahil recorded every moment in Meera's life...her fist time speaking, her first time walking, first awards from school, swimming...everything. Its not the same but-"

"After what I did, its more than enough Anika." Shivaay said. He admired Anika for a moment and then leaned forward and kissed her cheek.

Anika's eyes widen and she looked around embarrassed, "What are you doing? Ranveer is just outside...there are so many doctors and nurses here. This isnt our room."

"Ok then when will I get discharged? We can go to our room and continue."

"Shivaay!" Anika laughed and playfully hit Shivaay.

"Ahem..." Ranveer coughed to let them know he was entering and they moved away. "Sorry to disurb Shivaay Bhaiyya but I was just informed that Svetlana and Saumya were caught...with fake papers?"

Shivaay exchanged a knowing smile with Anika. "Haan...the papers I gave them were fake. See the thing is Ranveer, these two Kapoor sisters are always so overconfident...especially when their plans start working. Svetlana thought that I'd do anything to save Meera which is correct. But she never for a second thought that Im not thats stupid. I knew that we cant trust them and I also knew that in the rush of leaving they wont check the papers...at least not until later. However, I wasnt counting on Abdul & Faisal being involved. Its a good thing you came on time."

"No...its a good thing your daughter's brain works just like her father." Ranveer said.

"What do you mean?" Shivaay asked.

"Im not sure exactly when when Meera was trapped with them, somehow she managed to call Kabir and let him know where they would be taking her. She knew that the whole Oberoi Family's phone's were bugged. Kabir then infromed me and I was able to come on time." Ranveer told him.

Location: Oberoi Mansion

"Meera!" Gauri came and hugged Meera tightly, "You are okay right?"

"Haan maasi...Im fine." Meera replied as she entered Oberoi mansion with Kabir.

"Di!" Pihu ran to Meera hugging her, "We were so scared. Thank god you're back!"

"Welcome back!"

"Are you ok?"

"You are not hurt right?"

"Are you sure you are okay?" all her friends and cousins ran over and bombarded her with questions and more hugs.

"GUYS!" Om yelled over everyone. "Enough...let the poor child sit. Meera come..."

"Thanks Chachu..." Meera smiled as Om lead her to the couch and she sat down.

"Here drink some water." Sahil came with a glass of water.

"No...drink this juice...you will get strength." Neha pushed Sahil's hand away and handed Meera a glass of orange juice.

"The water wont drain her strength, its also good for health. And Meeru doesnt like orange juice." Sahil pushed Neha's hand away.

"So what? She hast to drink it...what will water do?" Neha responded.

"Neha, I think I know what im doing, she is my bhanji (niece)." Sahil said.

"Yeah and she has no relation with me right?"

"That not what I said!"

"Thats what you meant!" As Neha & Sahil argued everyone watched in amusement. Om leaned over the couch and tapped Meera's shoulder.

"Do these two always fight like this?" Om asked.

"No Om Chachu....not always...just sometimes. One second..." Meera turned back to Sahil & Neha. "Mama! Mami! Ill drink both okay...happy?"

"You dont like juice right?" Sahil asked.

"I dont but ill drink it for mami..."

"See!" Neha stuck her tongue out at Sahil and sat down beside Meera, "Meera is so understanding...here drink it."

"Fine fine...she will drink it but first Meeru will drink the water." Sahil pulled Neha away and sat down where she was sitting.

"No first juice."

" First water!"

"Juice!"

"Water!"

Meera smack her forehead and leaned back on the couch in exasperation while the others laughed.

Note: YAY! Meera is safe, the bad guys are caught & Shivika is together again. Now it looks like Kabir will confess his love to Meera soon. Pls keep commenting and letting me know what you think so far.
