Later that night when everyone returned to Oberoi Mansion, Kabir pulled Meera to the side.

"What happened?" Meera looked towards their friends and saw that they hadnt even noticed and just went inside.

"Are you sleepy?"

"What? Why?"

"Just tell me, are you sleepy?" Kabir asked.

"No...not really."

"Good...me neither. Come with me." Kabir grabbed Meera's hand and started towards his car.

"Where?"

"You'll find out." Kabir took a cloth out from the back seat of his car and blindfolded Meera before making her sit in the passenger seat.

"Kabir...what are yu doing?" Meera tried to take the cloth off but Kabir held her hands down.

"Kidnapping you." He replied as he started the car .

"Oh...you are kidnapping me? That too fist asking if Im sleepy or not? What if I was sleepy?"

"Then Id kidnap you some other day. Im a very honourable kidnapper." As Meera started laughing, Kabir admired her.

"Are you staring at me?" Meera suddenly asked as she felt Kabir's gaze. Kabir looked back to the road ahead embarrased.

"What? No...im watching the road. You arent that pretty that Id get distracted from driving." Kabir lied. Knowing he was lying, Meera turned to face the direction his voice was coming from and leaned forward with a smile.

"Really? Im not pretty?"

"I-" Kabir looked towards her and realized she was really close to him. The next thing he knew, a truck came infront of him and he quicked swerved away and hit the breaks.

"What was that?" Meera asked as she held onto the dashboard.

"Sorry sorry...a truch just came infront of me." Kabir explained.

"But...you were watching the road na?" Meera asked with a smirk.

"Shut up..."Kabir mumbled and kept driving. A few moments later, the car came to a stop and Kabir helped Meera out.

"Are we here?"

"Haan...just a few more minutes" Kabir led Meera into a building and took her up to the top floor before removing the blindfold. They were inside a modern looking duplex apartment.

"Wow.....look at that view!" Meera looked out the windows and then turned back to Kabir, "Wait...who's apartment is this"

"I dont know..." Kabir shrugged, "JI just barged into the first apartment I found."

"Haha...very funny."

"I know."

"Kabir..."

"Its mine....my parents last gift to me." Kabir explained.

"But I thought you were a small child? When they-"

"Yeah....but but my parents loved planning for the future. They had bought this place to give to me on my 18th birthday."

"So....why did you bring me here?" Meera looked at Kabir curiously.

"Because, Ive had many girlfriends, and for them I do the usual, dinner, movies etc...etc." Kabir replied and then walked closer to her, "But you are not like them. Special place for a special girl. Restaurants and movies are crowded...here, its just you and me."

Meera smiled at Kabir and looked around, "What floor are we on?"

"31st...Penthouse apartment."

"No wonder the view is so amazing.." Meera continued looking around until she saw the pool in the balcony.

"You like pools?"

"I like water...wether its the beach or pool." Meera replied.

"Well...you go out...near the pool. Ill just come."

"Where are you going?"

"Nowhere," Kabir chuckled, "Ill be there in a bit."

"Ok." Meera walked out to the balcony where there was a small sitting area beside the pool. She sat down by the edge of the pool and dangled her her feet in kicking lightly.

"Im back." Kabir announced as he sat down beside Meera, dangling his feet into the pool, "Ooh! Its cold."

"Its not that cold....btw where were you?"

"TaDa!" Kabir brought out a bowl from behind his back and handed it to Meera.

"....Maggi?" Meera giggled.

"Yeah...sorry. This was a bit of a last minute plan, all the restaurants will be closed by now...and you saw my cooking talents....so, this was the best I could do." Kabir frowned.

"Aww!" Meera pulled Kabir's cheeks.

"Ouch.." Kabir rubbed his cheeks while Meera was just seeing how cute he was being.

"Actually....I kinda like Maggi. Its yummy" Meera took the fork and started eating, "Where is yours?"

"Here." Kabir pulled out another bowl of maggi from behind him. After they were done eating, Kabir was putting the bowls to one side when he felt a splash of water on him. He looked at Meera to see her laughing. "What was that?"

"Water." Meera stated and splashed Kabir again. Kabir got up and glared playfully.

"You are so dead now." Meera stood up and ran away as Kabir chased her. "Meera careful!"

While running, Meera slipped and grabbed onto Kabir's outstretched hand only for both of them to fall into the pool. "Aah!"

SPLASH!

"Meera are you okay" Kabir asked as soon as he stood up. "Meera?

Kabir looked around and couldnt find Meera anywhere. Kabir waded around in the pool calling out to her.

"Meera!"

"Boo!" Suddenly, Meera jumped out from underwater.

"What the hell Meera! I thought you drowned." Kabir scolded her.

"What!" Meera chuckled, "Kabir who drowns in 2 ft water? Anyways, even if the water was deep...I told you I love beaches and pools na? So obviously I know how to swim."

"But what if you had hit your head? You've already been hurt on the head once, if you-"

"Ok Ok..." Meera made her way to Kabir and wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him, "Im sorry."

"I got really scared." Kabir held Meera tightly. "Dont do that to me."

The Next Morning...

Meera woke up to the sun shining brightly on her face. Once she opened her eyes, she realized that she was sleeping on one of the couches out on the balcony of Kabir's penthouse.

"Kabir!" Meera called out making Kabir fall right off the couch in surprise.

"Im ok!" Kabir groaned out before standing up. "Kya hua?"

"Its morning!"

"So? That happens everyday." Kabir mumbled still half asleep laying back on the couch.

"Kabir...its 10!" Meera tried telling him.

"That also happens everyday." Kabir replied.

"Yeah it happens everyday but there isnt a wedding everyday!!"

"Oh Shit!" Kabir shot up, now fully awake. "Ok you know what....its not a big deal, first id the haldi ceremony and then the wedding at night. Everyone will be busy, im sure noboy will notice we arent there. We'll just sneak back in."

"Thats not gonna work! Its my brother's wedding and Im not there...wow!"

"Relax...and lets go!" Kabir & Meera ran down to Kabir's car and drove back to Oberoi Mansion.

"Woah!" Kabir grabbed Meera's hand as she started towards the front door. "Do you want to let everyone know we were out the whole night?"

"No..of course not."

"Then follow me." Kabir pulled Meera along as he quietly made his way to the back of the mansion where there was a ladder propped up against a balcony. "This goes upto my room, from there you can sneak back to your room and get ready."

"Wait a sec...where did this come from?" Meera asked pointing to the ladder.

"On the way back, I msg Dev & Jai to keep this here." Kabir explained.

"What! You told my broters I was with you the whole night?"

"As if Alia and Sona dont know everything about me already."

"Ok point." Meera agreed and started to climb up the ladder. At the top, she waited until Kabir came up before opening his door, looking around and leaving his room, quietly running to her room before anyone can see.

Meanwhile, Anika was walking with a bowl of haldi while Shivaay was coming from the other direction, talking on his phone. As the both turned the corner, Shivaay & Anika collided making Anika slip backwards and the bowl of haldi went flying in the air. Shivaay dropped his phone & quickly caught Anika by the waist with one hand while catching the haldi bowl in his other hand. In the process, a bit of the haldi fell out of the bowl and onto Anika's face.

"Oh God..." Anika stood up straight and started to wipe the haldi off her face but Shivaay held her hand. With his handkerchief, he wiped the haldi off. As he was about to leave, Anika grabbed his wrist and pointed towards his face.

"What?" Shivaay asked confused. Anika took the handkerchief from his hand and stepped closer to him to wipe off some haldi that had also fallen on his face.

"You should give Shivaay a chance..." Anika remembered what Mallika had said and thought to talk to Shivaay. "Shivaay..."

"Yeah?"

"No, nothing." Anika shook her head. Shivaay sighed and took her face in his hands to make her look at him.

"Anika, what did you want to say?"

"Woh....I was thinking that..."

"That?"

"That....we-"

"Good morning Ma, Papa!" Startled by Meera, Shivaay & Anika quickly stepped away from each other.

"Goodmorning." Shivaay replied with a smile.

"Meeru...did you just now wake up?" Meera's eyes widened as Anika asked that.

"No...no of course not. You know how early I wake up, Ive already went jogging and came back." Meera lied.

"Acha? But I didnt see you?" Shivaay said.

"You were so busy since the morning...iyou prob didnt notice." Meera said, "btw what is this?"

"Haldi...for Jai and Sona." Anika replied.

"For Jai and Sona right? Then why is it on your faces." Meera pointed to their faces, amused. Shivaay & Anika both started wiping their faces.

"What! Its still there?" Anika asked.

"Woh...its just got on accidentally." Shivaay explained.

"Are you sure Papa? Its a mistake? I mean if you two want to get remarried...you can tell me" Meera joked.

"Shut up...you're always joking...." Anika reprimanded Meera. As Shivaay chuckled, Anika glared at him. "And why are you laughing?"

"Sorry."

"Aachoo!" Meera sneezed suddenly.

"Meera...how did you get a cold?" Anika asked in concern.

"I dont know Ma..." Meera replied with a sniffle.

"How do you not know? You-"

"Aachoo!" Shivaay & Anika looked behind Meera to see Kabir walking down the stairs also sniffling.

"You caught a cold too?" Shivaay asked Kabir as he walked up to them. "How?"

"I dont know Uncle." Kabir said.

"Oh I see..so both of you caught a cold and both of you dont know how?."

"Acha leave that...you two have some medicine....then come for the haldi ceremony." Anika said and then walked away with the bowl. Shivaay looked at Meera & Kabir suspiciously for a minute before Pinky called him.

"Aachoo! Maybe we souldnt have slept in wet clothes." Kabir said with another sneeze. "We should have changed."

"Yes your the prince of England na...so a clothing store would be open just for you so we could buy clothes in the middle of the night." Meera replied with a sarcastic smile.

"Ok Ok...we didnt have extra clothes, but who told you to sit near the pool? And ok you sat but who told you to run there..if you hadnt run, you wouldnt have fallen and we wouldnt have gotten wet."

"Actually...I..."

"Actually I what?" Kabir asked, "You dont have anything to say...cause you know Im right."

Jai & Sona sat accross from each other with a curtain separating them while the elders & other family members all started applying haldi to Jai one by one. While this was happening, Anika looked at Shivaay, wanting to talk to him but she wasnt getting the chance. Finally she decided to walk upto him.

"Shivaay...."

"Yes Anika?"

"I-"

"Anika puttar...come. Apply haldi to Jai." Dadi interrupted her.

"Yes Dadi..." Anika went to Jai and applied haldi on his face. Once he was done, it was Sona's turn.

"Wait! Ill be the first to apply haldi to my daughter." A voice called out from the door.

"Dad!" Sona smiled happily., "Mom!"

"Rishabh...Maya. Finally you are here huh?" Shivaay smiled and hugged Sona's Dad.

"Meri bachi..Im so sorry. We had so much work so we couldnt come earlier." Maya, Sona's Mom went to Sona and hugged her.

"Its ok Mom...you are here now right?" Sona replied and hugged her Mom & Dad.

"How are you two?" Shakti asked.

"We're fine uncle...how are you?"

"Great...oh you two havent met Anika & Meera yet right?"

"Anika means...Shivaay, your wife Anika?" Rishabh asked.

"Yeah."

"Anika...Meera, come here pls." Shakti called them over and introduced them to Rishabh & Maya. "This is Anika....and this is Meera...Anika and Shivaay's daughter."

"And one of my bestest friends!" Sona added.

"Hi....nice to meet you aunty, uncle." Meera greeted them and shook their hands.

"Wait...Ive seen you somewhere." Maya said as she looked at Meera. " You...you won the best businesswoman of the year award...last year, hai na? Yeah...I saw you at the awards ceremony, AGC's CEO right?"

"Yes you are right Maya.My daughter is the CEO of AGC" Shivaay said proudly.

"Oh wow! You are quite young, Im very impressed." Maya smiled.

"Thank you aunty." Meera said. After that everyone went to apply haldi to Sona but Anika held Shivaay back.

"Shivaay...I need to talk to you." Anika told Shivaay.

"Yeah tell me." Shivaay replied.

"Billu! Anika...what are you doing there? Come here." Dadi said.

"Dadi is calling. Tell me whatever you wanted to say later." Shivaay & Anika then went to Sona and applied haldi. When it was Meera's turn to apply the haldi, she took a lot and spread it all over Sona's face.

"Heyy!" Sona laughed. Alia came & covered Sona's face some more laughing. "You're teaming up against me...not fair!"

Sona tried to cover herself while the girls were laughing & applying more haldi when Meera accidentally knocked over a vase.

"Oh! Oops..." Meera looked at the shattered vase. "Sorry."

"Its ok beta..." Shivaay said and then called for two servants,"Raju! Anand! Clean this."

Two sardarjis came and started cleaning up the glass and Shivaay just looked at them confused.

"Who are you two?"

"Shivaay sir...This is Harmaan and Param. I told you two servants had to leave for an emergency? That was Raju and Anand...these two are their replacements."

"Oh ok." Shivaay then turned back to the others. When nobody was looking, the two sardarjis looked at Meera who was having fun with Sona & Alia and then looked at each other with an evil smile.

"Laugh all you want....today is the last day of happiness for you people."

Note: Hey Readers! As you can see, Anika is thinking about giving Shivaay a chance but hasnt been able to talk to Shivaay about it. Meanwhile Meera & Kabir have gotten very close and it looks like Meera might be in danger.
