"Iris! Good you're here, I really need to talk to you." I said as I entered the precinct, where Joe just started to walk away.

"Oh, hey Daisy. Barry isn't here right now, I think." She said as I sighed, shaking my head.

"Actually, I came to talk about Barry." I said as I fumbled with the promise ring I got a few days ago from him.

"About... Barry? What's wrong? Oh my god did you two break up?!" Iris asked as I gasped, shaking my head.

"What?! Oh my good no! No we didn't break up. I- he's been having these night terrors recently, and he's well... he's being kind of guarded. He won't tell me about them and they seem to be bugging him recently. And, since you guys are best friends, do you think you can get him to tell you?" I asked. I didn't want to ask Iris for this, but I was starting to worry about Barry.

"Oh yeah of course. I've been noticing it too." Iris said with a few nods as I smiled and sighed.

"Thank you. We should get to the CCPN. I really need to keep this job." I said as Iris laughed and nodded, both of us entering the elevator.

"Daisy. Good to see you finally show up." Scott Evans said as I silently cursed to myself about being an hour late. If I had just used my speed i wouldn't have been, but Iris was with me, and I'm not making the same mistake of running in sneakers in the snow.

"Sorry, Scott. Traffic was rough and uh-"

"She had to pick me up." Iris said as I looked at her before nodding.

"Yep. Had to pick up Iris." I lied as Scott gave me a raised brow before rolling his eyes.

"Whatever. I want a new piece on the Flash. This new threat to Central City. Zoom. Write it. Good to see you Iris." Scott said with a small smile before walking away as I looked between them several times before gasping.

"Holy shit! You went on a date with him!" I said as Iris rolled her eyes.

"It's not that big a deal!" Iris said as I scoffed.

"It's a huge deal, Iris! You're finally going back out there again!" I said with excitement as Iris rolled her eyes again.

Before she could say anything else, my phone buzzed, frowning. "Cisco needs me. Really?" I said with a scoff as Iris chuckled, patting my shoulder.

"I'll tel Scott you had a family emergency, or something." Iris said with a laugh as I gave her a thankful look.

"Thank you so much. I'll be back soon I promise. Oh hey Linda bye Linda!" I said as Linda passed me and Iris, giving us both a smile as she waved hello and goodbye.

"Hey Daisy! Bye Daisy!" Linda said as I ran out the door in normal speed.

How lucky of me to do that.

Someone grabbed my jacket, yanking me into the alleyway and slamming me against a wall. "Give me all your money! Now!" The man yelled as he aimed a gun at me.

"Oh. Oh we are doing this okay. Uh, give me one second." I pulled out my phone, calling Barry in the process as the man frowned at me like I was crazy, yanking my phone out of my hand and tossing it to the side.

"Hey! Buddy I still had a month left on my plan!" I yelled as he cocked the gun.

"Money. Or I'mma blow your damn brains out on three." He threatened as I crossed my arms and raised a brow.

"Do it." I said as the main scoffed.

"One-" using my super speed, I did the same thing Barry had done over a year ago to a man that tried to rob him, stopping the man of his clothes so he was just in his underwear, and running around to find a cop and bring him to where he was before speeding to S.T.A.R. Labs after grabbing my phone.

"Daisy! Oh thank god I thought something bad happened." Barry said as I was just laughing, everyone frowning at me in confusion.

"You- oh shit that was great... ohh you had to be there." I said as they all shrugged. "Anyway, what's this about?" I said after catching my breath.

"The Turtle." Cisco said as I went to a straight face.

"Who?" I said with confusion as I looked at Barry.

"Don't look at me, I just got here." Barry said as I sighed, sitting down in my chair.

"The Turtle steals kinetic energy and slows down time." Cisco said as I made an o with my lips. "Anyways, if we can catch him, figure out how he uses his powers... Maybe we can show Zoom what life is like in the slow lane." He continued as I nodded slowly.

"How would you even know where to find him?" Barry asked as I started typing up police records of missing jewelry.

"Well, the robberies in the videos all correspond with police reports that were dismissed as lost or missing items." I said as Barry walked up behind my chair and leaned forward to get a better look.

"We'll look at that. The Volde- I mean Vandervoort diamonds have just been recovered." I said as Cisco turned to me.

"Did you almost say Voldemort?" He asked as I shook my hands.

"I'm rewatching the series, okay?!" I said as Cisco raised his hands in defense.

"Barry you should go to the precinct, make sure no one tries to steal it again."  Caitlin suggested as Barry nodded before vanishing.

"Daisy, can I talk to you in the med room?" Caitlin asked as I looked over at Jay and Harry, who were quietly bickering at one another as I got up and walked with her.

"I've been analyzing your recent blood samples that currently have the speed force in them, and it turns out you have 18 other meta-powers in your system." She said as I stopped.

"Huh?" I asked in shock, not knowing if it was a joke or not.

"See, when I took blood samples of Farooq after he... died... I found out that his dark matter cells were blue, instead of a dark red like and Barry's. Tony's was the same, except his were silver, correlating to his metal metahuman side." Caitlin informed me as I  frowned in confusion.

"Wait, so what if we get a sample of the turtles? What color would his be?" I asked as Caitlin shrugged.

"Considering his surroundings turn green when he slows down time, probably green. Now your dark matter cells for the speed force are pink, like your electricity, but you also share silver, blue, dark red and red dark matter sells, along with oddly fluorescent cells, which I believe may have been correlated to your previous telepathic abilities." Caitlin said. If I was being honest, she was speaking very quickly.

"So, what you're saying is I have the same powers as the every meta-human I've come into contact with?" I asked as Caitlin pressed her lips together, nodding.

"It appears so. I think you still have the capability of copying other meta-humans, we just didn't know because you were unable to figure it out." Caitlin said as I stared at my blood sample on the screen.

"Do you think I can still do it?" I asked as I turned to Caitlin. "Copy meta-human powers." I continued as she shrugged.

"There's only one way to actually find out. You'll have to come into contact with the next meta." Caitlin said as I nodded.

"Turtle got the diamonds!" Cisco said as he started pointing at the monitors. Caitlin and I shared a look before running over to the screen.

"What is Barry doing? Why is he just standing there? Moving so slowly..." I said as they all shrugged in confusion. After a few moment, Barry disappeared from sight of the camera, and now stood in the Cortex.

"He got away." Barry said as everyone turned to Him.

"Yeah. We just witnessed the whole thing."

"Iris, are you sure I should join you guys? It's a family dinner and I'm not even-"

"You're practically family, Daisy! I mean, with the future saying you're going to marry Barry, and all." She said as I winced at the thought. It's not that I didn't want to marry Barry, but sometimes the future can change, and I don't want to get my hopes up.

"Iris, I love you, really, but I don't want to be a burden or make it awkward." I said as she huffed.

"You're coming to my dads and you can't say no. Or else I'll get Barry to make you come with his puppy eyes, and you know his puppy eyes trick works on everyone." Iris said as I frowned in defeat.

"Damn you, West. You just had to put that thought of Barry doing that damn trick in my mind, didn't you?" I said as she snickered, locking her arm with mine as we walked into Jitters where Barry happened to be.

"Oh, um... I'll just get our drinks, Daisy." Iris said as she snuck away, Barry walking up.

"Hey Bar. What's up?" I asked non-chalantly, internally face-palming myself.

"Uh nothings, what's up with you?" He asked as I just grimaced.

"God I hate this. It sounds like I just confessed my love to my best friend only to be rejected." I said as Barry chuckled.

"Seems like it's been like that since Christmas." He said as I nodded.

"It's just... well I wanted to know if you were okay. I mean... you have been having these nightmares at night recently and-"

"Daisy, it's fine, really. Just- it's getting closer to the month my mom died and y'know, so it's just the memories and stuff." Barry said as I frowned and nodded.

"Alright, I can understand that. You don't have to hide that from me Barry I know what you went through." I said as I kissed his cheek, a smile being put on his face.

"Yeah.. Look... we haven't had a romantic night in a while. What do you say tomorrow night we get some dinner and drinks and maybe a little... kissing?" He said as I wiggled my brows, a smile on my face as I hummed.

"Sounds like something we need." I said, playfully nudging his shoulder as he chuckled. Iris walked up, coffee and hot chocolate in hand as she gave me mine. "I'll see you back at Joe's, Barry. I Love you."

"I love you too." He said with a wink before me and Iris walked out.

"So, what did you two talk about?" She asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Nothing, Iris. Basically both of us apologizing about the short distance we've had since Christmas. Nothing too serious." I said while sipping on my hot cocoa, Iris frowning.

"Sounds boring."

"Anything that doesn't involve me and Barry drooling over one another is boring to you, Iris West." I said with a chuckle as she did.

"Because you two are literally perfect for each other and you both deserve to be happy!"

"I am happy, Iris! I have the friends I dreamed of having, a day job I kind of enjoy but know I know will only last a few more years, and I have this- amazing boyfriend that I want to have a future with." I said as Iris 'awed.'

"It's good that you're happy, Daisy. I'm so happy you're happy with Barry. I can tel he's practically head over heels in love with you." Iris said as I just rolled my eyes again.

I never really saw myself settling down, I always thought I'd just be after a guy I couldn't have. Yet here I was.

The perfect guy.

And a... almost... perfect future.
