(This first part is basically me ranting as Daisy about why I don't like Iris🧍🏼‍♀️ also sorry for not updating in so long I have lost a LOT of motivation to write this book and there's a chance I may just cut it short.)

Earth-1

20 minutes before

What a terrible idea it was for me to go and search for Rainbow Raider (though I still prefer Prism) and just throw him back in the prison we have at S.T.A.R. Labs.

I knew what this man was capable of, but I needed to get my mind off of Geomancer, so I guess fighting a villain Barry has already fought would do it.

And here I am, standing behind him.

"You know, I do like the name Roy G. Bivolo. Quite funny." I said as the man in glasses turned around, a grin on his face.

"And who night you be?" He asked, walking up slowly.

"Velocity. A friend of the Flash. I'm not here to chat, so let's get this over with." Quickly I ran up to him, but he got faster, and knocked me off my feet.

Kneeling down, the man took off his glasses and stared into my eyes. A new feeling washed over me. Both regret, and anger.

"I've learned his moves, Velocity. You can't outsmart me." And just like that, he got up and left as I just laid there in shock.

I guess I wasn't cut out to be a hero.

Now

"I feel like he's been there too long. What if-what if Zoom has him? Shouldn't he be back by now I mean, there's less than a few hours left and-" I was cut off by Felicity, who grabbed my arms and shook me violently.

"Daisy, calm down! I know what it's like to be worried about your superhero boyfriend but trust me, Barry is safe. He will be back soon. Now stop worrying about Barry. We need to stop Geomancer before he tears a whole through this city."

"We also need to help you with that problem on your body." I said as Felicity scoffed.

"I'll be fine. Caitlin and I are working on a cure for this. Cisco can help you with Geomancer." She said as I turned to Cisco who shrugged. Felicity was starting to remind me of Iris, but it was okay. At least she wasn't trying to control everything.

"Sounds like a plan. I'll uh— suit up I guess?" I said, running out of the basement and coming back in my suit.

"D-DAISY?!" I heard a yell as everyone froze, slowly turning around to see Iris drop her bag.

"H-heeey Iris... what's uh... what's-"

"Do NOT what's up me. How can you keep this a secret from me? I'm your boyfriends best friend! I cannot believe you! I should have the right to know you are Velocity! I should have know your were Velocity!" She said with a look of betrayal as my eye twitched. At first, I was going to go easy, but her saying that she had the right to know made me snap

"Iris. You aren't entitled to know my secrets because I am Barry's girlfriend. In fact, you shouldn't even think you are entitled to know. You want to know why? Because you aren't apart of this team. Me and Barry discussed this with you a long time ago that you are not safe to be around this place, and that you need to stay as far away from here as you can. Barry kept his secret from you to keep you safe. You throwing a tantrum about it made everything worse. Shit, Patty found out, did she throw a tantrum? No! And not to mention that you called me out for leaving and asked where I was when Barry needed me when you know my father died, AND THEN YOU TRIED TO GET WITH BARRY DURING THAT AFTER SAYING YOU DIDN'T LIKE HIM? You know what Iris, FU-"

"Hey! Let's uh... let's all just calm down..." Cisco said, grabbing my bicep as I huffed, both Iris and I glaring daggers into each other's eyes as everyone just stood and stared at me in shock. I didn't mean to go off on Iris, but I guess the pint up anger I had on her burst because of the stress.

"So uh..." Jay said as he cleared his throat. "What are you doing here Iris?" He said awkwardly as I stormed out, glaring at Iris on my way as I ran out of S.T.A.R. Labs.

Now probably wasn't the best time to use my anger to beat Geomancer, but that's exactly what I did.

Cisco

Did no one else see Daisy's eyes turn red for a moment? Oh dear... she couldn't be turning into someone like the Reverse Flash— could she? Or maybe when she was gone she came into contact with Rainbow Raider. But that's not possible no one has seen him since last year.

My tablet started to beep like crazy, looking down on it to see Daisy running faster than I'd ever see her run before. Her vitals were off the charts, and I could practically feel the anger coming from her through the tablet. I never realized how much she secretly disliked Iris. Exploiting her for trying to get with Barry while he was in a relationship? Not cool, Iris.

Jay and Iris were now talking and Caitlin and Felicity were running tests as I walked up to the Cortex to try and talk to Daisy.

"Daisy are you good? What are you doing?" I said as I heard the wind rushing by fast.

"I'm stopping Geomancer. That's what you wanted me to do right?" She said in an angry voice.

"Daisy.. are you okay?" I asked as she scoffed.

"I'm fine, Cisco. No more talking, I need to get rid of Geomancer. Forever." Daisy said as her comms turned off, my eyes widening as I quickly realized what was happening.

"She's been whammied. GUYS SHES BEEN WHAMMIED." I yelled through the comms that connected to the basement.

"Whammied?" I heard Jay say before I heard Caitlin gasp.

"get up here NOW." Sighing two minutes everyone was upstairs. "I think Daisy's been whammied by Rainbow Raider. Her eyes turned red for a moment when she snapped at Iris, and now she's going to kill Geomancer."

"Daisy wouldn't kill anyone." Jay said quickly as I nodded, Caitlin turning to him.

"Jay you need to get to her. I-I know you two don't usually get along, but you are the only one that can get to her fast enough. If you shine these lights at her maybe you can stop her from hurting Geomancer." Caitlin said as she handed him a big flashing rectangle, to which I frowned. "I created it in the events that Bivolo would show up again, and since he did... this is the best choice we have.

"Cait... I don't have my powers." Jay said as she smiled slightly, grabbing a tube as an alarm went off, a security camera footage popping up with Geomancer on.

"Don't even think about running! There's a new Flash in town, with the purple suit. A Flashette, if you will." Geomancer said with a cackle as my eyes widened.

"Oh no. Guys Daisy will be there any second we have to act fast."

"Give me the V-9, Caitlin." Jay said and outstretched his hands as Caitlin pulled back.

"Jay we don't know how long it will last." She protested.

"We don't have time to figure it out! Any second Daisy is going to show up on that screen, and Geomancer with have a hand through his heart." He said as Caitlin looked at the screen before handing the tube to Jay, who quickly injected it into himself and groaned.

"Jay?" Caitlin asked as he huffed.

"I'm okay." He said as we all smiled before he disappeared.

Daisy

Kill him. And you'll be a hero.

don't kill him. Barry will hate you.

It won't matter, they will see you did the right thing. Just kill him, they will praise you.

Just-

"Kill him." I said to myself, a smirk on my face as I skidded to a halt behind Geomancer. "Looking for me?" I asked with a tilt of my head as he turned around, chuckling.

"Come to lose again?" He joked as I sighed.

"I won't be the one losing today." I said, running at him and knocking Geomancer harshly on the ground, hearing a loud gasp from him and a groan as I looked down at him.

"Not so tough, are you?" I said, kneeling down and holding him by the throat, raising my hand up as it started to vibrate.

Before I could shove it down, I was knocked off my knees, rolling away as I looked over to see Geomancer arrested, and Jay holding a light.

"What-are you doing here?" I said, clearing my throat as I stood up.

"Stopping you from hurting him." Jay said as I chuckled.

"He needed the same treatment he was giving others." I said, running at Jay, who blinding me with colorful lights as I stopped and backed up, rubbing my eyes as I felt everything return to normal.

"Velocity?" Jay said and I blinked harshly.

"Wow- Barry was right..." I said with a small unneeded cough. "That is a different type of hangover." I said as Jay let out a sigh of relief, dropping his head before helping me up. I felt a surge of electricity go through our hands, Jay flinching and yanking his hand back as I did mine.

"Ow!" He yelped, shaking his hand and examining it for a moment. "That was a shock." He said as I nodded with a frown, shaking my own hand and examining it. "You alright?" Jay asked.

"Y-yeah. That was just... I've never been shocked so hard before." I said as he sighed, going to se rig he still had v-9 in his system. There was none left. "Do I have to run you back to S.t.A.R. Labs?" I asked as he opened his arms out, causing me to roll my eyes as I zoomed back.

One hour later

Felicity and Caitlin found a cure for her strange disease growing on her, which meant she wasn't much of service anymore.

"Thank you so much for helping me. Uh- Daisy could you give Barry a hug for me when he gets back? And tell him I'm sorry I could stay long enough?" She asked as I smiled and nodded, watching the short girl leave the cortex as we all headed back down into the basement.

As soon as Barry ran through the portal I jumped into his arms, a sigh of relief leaving my mouth as I took in his scent that I missed.

"CLOSE THE BREACH ZOOM IS COMING!" Cisco yelled as Caitlin quickly started to close it.

"D-Daisy?" Jesse said with a look of shock in her eyes. I turned to her, raising a brow. "I-I don't understand. How are you-"

"Shes Daisy's doppelgänger, Jesse." Cisco chimed in, catching Jesse's attention. She quickly nodded, understanding that her sister was still dead.

Jay finally spoke up, a smile on his face as we all turned to him. "I'm so glad you guys made-" Jay's sentence was cut short as a hand went through his chest, causing everyone's mouths to drop open.

"NO!" Caitlin yelled, running to Jay. I caught her quickly, both of us collapsing onto the floor as he was yanked into the breach, a cry leaving her as I watched the breach shut with a look of fear.

I was not expecting that at all.

And I guess that means Jay isn't Zoom.

Hello everyone. It's been a while hasn't it?
I want to say I apologize for not updating in almost a month, I'm losing motivation to write this book because there are others I want to work on.
Speaking of which, I will be putting this book on hold until I am able to complete at least one of my new books (most likely "Trust" or "Unsaid Emily")
I may also have to say that this is the last book of the series. I won't be doing a third book, only because I'm losing motivation to write my Flash series.
