I stared at my mother in confusion. "Y-Wha- The speed force? I-I don't understand. I-I'm not a speedster. How can I be in the Speed Force? I mean. Unless it was from that one time I let Barry-"

"I'd prefer not to hear that." My mother said as I quickly shut my mouth, her sighing. "No, it isn't because of Barry that you are in the Speed Force. Not completely. See, as of right now, you are flat lining in front of everyone, yet you are still alive merely because your heart is beating so fast do to your sudden explosion of meta powers."

"Um.. What?" I said, not understanding anything she was saying.

"The powers that were activated when you came in contact with Professor Stein were not supposed to be activated. Those powers were ones that were supposed to stay dormant. The Speed Force was trying to activate the speed you were given when the Particle Accelerator exploded."

"Wait. You're saying this whole time, I was given the wrong powers?" I said as my mother, or, the Speed Force, smiled and nodded.

"Granted, the Speed Force was dormant inside you for over a year, and then we were able to take away the powers you were originally given while we tried to activate the speed inside you. It's been a very long and difficult process, but when you interacted with Stein, the shock only allowed you to come into the Speed Force. The moment you get shocked with the defibrillator, you will finally be a true speedster." The Speed Force said as I sat down.

"So... What about my other powers?" I asked with confusion. "The fire, invisibility, mind reading?"

"Sadly, you won't be able to reactivate those. The dark matter cells in your body that contain all the powers that were given to you will be replaced with the speed force. You'll me a full speedster just like Barry." The Speed Force said as I just looked away for a moment.

"I still don't understand-" When I turned back, my mother was gone and I was now in the particle accelerator. "What-?"I stood up, brows furrowed in confusion.

"The Speed Force gave you these powers for a reason, Cora." I snapped my body around, my eyes once again filling with tears as I saw Eddie. At least, that's who I wished it really was.

"Eddie.." I whispered quietly as he smiled, but barely.

"When you were first hit with dark matter, it was raining where you were."

"A lightning bolt struck right in front of me." I said quietly as Eddie nodded.

"The lightning bolt held dark matter, thats how you got your powers in the first place." Eddie said as I just stood in my place.

"But I still don't understand. If I was supposed to be a speedster, why wasn't I given the powers right away? Why was I given powers that weren't even related to speed?" I asked the Speed Force as it paused to think.

"We needed to see if you were worthy enough to be a speedster."

"What like Thor was worthy enough for his hammer?" I asked with a raise of my brow as Eddie- The Speed Force- chuckled.

"Sure." He said as I suddenly felt a shock in my chest. "That would be Mr. Ramon restarting your heart. And activating the speed force within you."

"So you're saying I didn't have a choice to be a speedster or not?" I asked with a frown as The Speed Force nodded.

"We know that you will use your powers for good, use them to stop Zoom." It said as my eyes widened.

"You know Zoom?! Do you know who he is?!" I asked quickly as I felt myself slowly being drawn back to reality.

"I'm afraid if I told you it wouldn't be much of a surprise to the others." The Speed Force said as they waved goodbye.

"Wait no-!" My eyes shot open as I sat up quickly, looking around as Barry stood up faster.

"Oh thank god." Iris said as she brought me into a tight hug.

"Oh! Okay looks like we are hugging." I said out of the sudden shock of being hugged, hugging Iris back before she pulled away, allowing Barry to kiss my cheek before hugging me.

"Cora what the hell happened?" Cisco asked as I shrugged. 

"Honestly I don't know. I just felt like something bad was going to happen and then suddenly my hands were burning, and then I could hear everyone's thoughts at once, then my hands were on fire, and then I was in-" I stopped talking for a moment, questioning if I should tell them I was now a speedster. Why am I always getting new meta powers again?

"In what?" Harry pushed, crossing his arms as I looked at everyone hastily. If I told them I was a speedster, then they would tell everyone else, and that led to Zoom finding out, and that meant not only Barry's life was in danger, but so was mine.

And I didn't really feel like putting that kind of pressure on anyone.

"I. It was a dream, I guess. I wan in my old house.. um.. I think I should actually tell only Barry about it first before anyone else." I said hesitantly as Barry looked around at everyone.

"Yeah. Sure." Cisco said quietly as I smiled and nodded, slowly making my way off the stretcher as Barry and I entered the training room with the treadmill. I felt nothing but literal energy coursing through my veins. Is this how Barry felt when he woke up from his coma?

"Barry I need to tell you something I don't think I've ever told anyone..." I said as I sat down on the treadmill, Barry hesitant to do so.

"Not gonna lie you're making me a bit nervous." He said as I forced back a laugh.

"Um.. So I said that I had a dream I was in my old house... Yeah. Okay and this old house was in Central City.. and.." I paused for a moment to let Barry sit down next to me.

"It was Halloween... I was 9." I started as Barry looked at me. I could tell his sight was back. Had I been unconscious for 6 hours?

"I woke up to the sounds of screaming. I ran downstairs and.. My parents were being held up at gunpoint by two men... I-I remember not being afraid until one took of his mask and showed me his face, but... But I didn't bother to look... I was too busy staring at my parents... T-then they were dead. Just.. Out of no where... And then I was blocks away from my house. Just like you explained when your mother was killed except, my parents were killed by normal people." I said with a sad look as Barry held my hand.

"This is what you've been keeping from me? Cora you know I wouldn't-" 

"That's not all." I said as I slowly turned to him, a fearful look on my face. "I never told anyone because these men have been after a girl for years.. That girl is me but.. they've been searching for a girl with a different name." I said as Barry furrowed his brows.

"What do you mean?" He asked as I sucked in a breath.

"M-my name hasn't always been Cora Agapi, Barry." I said slowly. "D-Did you ever wonder what happened to your elementary friend.. Daisy Gopper?" I asked as Barry's eyes widened.

"D-Daisy? Like... Daisy Allen? The writer on the by-line of the future newspaper of me vanishing?" Barry said as I slowly looked away and nodded.

"I was scared for so long that because of seeing that that you would break up with me because you were supposed to marry someone named Daisy but... I'm happy you didn't." I said with a forced smile as Barry just stared, and I started questioning if I should tell him the other secret.

"I-Is it possible for you to keep two of my secrets, Barry?" I asked as he frowned at me.

"You have more than one secret?" He asked as I shrugged.

'Everyone has secrets they don't want to share." I said as I raised my hand up at him, watching as it vibrated so fast you could barely see it. Barry jumped up, staring at my hand that had since stopped moving.

"Y-you're a speedster?! We have to tell-"

"No!" I quickly said as I jumped up. "Barry we can't tell anyone. If they find out, Zoom finds out. And if Zoom finds out then both of our lives are going to be in danger." I said as Barry frowned before he sighed in understanding.

I don't know if I regretted telling Barry I was a speedster. But for right now...

I was glad I did.

Not me going back to a chapter in Different Fate to change the name from "Cora Allen" to "Daisy Allen" just to confuse everyone when the two mention marrying one another because im far to lazy to edit those out :D
