Even after a whole day after that meeting, I still couldn't stop thinking about that princess. She genuinely nothing I suspected. Nice, caring, and genuinely pretty and also worried about her people in hell.... As if they deserved any sympathy or compassion... It's shocking that someone with as high of a status can actually care for her people and not be evil. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

Suddenly Adam burst into my room with lute and with two presents in his hand. "KIDDO! I got something for ya'!" He ran over to me while lute just stood at the door. For once in a while lute had a smile on her usually monotonous face, a rare sight that even I was shocked.

"Oh? You always give me gifts, but you seem ecstatic about this one." I had my guard up obviously. "Well~ this is one that will genuinely blow your mind!" He smiled at me innocently.... Somehow.

"Alright. Let's see what's in it then. Shall we?" I reluctantly open the first gift too see what it is. To my surprise it was... A glowing large golden pair of scissors, it looked like my height. The shimmering light it emitted was mesmerizing.

I grabbed it and it was lightweight for me. It wasn't heavy whatsoever. "Wow. This is amazing! But I don't understand..." I looked up at him. "Its too protect ya self!! Exciting ain't it?" He smirked at me. "It looks cool! Where did you get it from?" I asked. "Ah, they're from Micheal, well technically I asked for him to make it." He ruffled my hair affectionately.

"Lute, isn't this amazing!!" I loved this so much, lute only smiled at me and nodded. Sharing my enthusiasm just more reserved and quietly.

When night came by I wasn't really falling asleep. Redemption... Foolish. Nobody would want a demon walking around the angels! Dumb! They had a chance and they screwed it up!

"Adam seems too... Hate the idea a lot. But that Charlie girl seems persistent. Likely would do anything too help her people. But what would happen if a demon DID redeem themselves? Would they still be hated by angels?" That's all I could think about. Redemption, the none existed humanity. I doubt there's something that could save such self loathing sinners. Especially ones who feel not even the SLIGHTEST remorse for what they did.

The more I thought of this. The more I stayed awake. "The path of redemption was something that I don't even know if the angels thought of. Did Emily ever think of this?" I kept tossing and turning repeatedly.

I got up from my bed and walked too my closet too put slippers on. The chill of the night air was... Cold. Really cold. The clock on my nightstand read 2:00 am for me. I was quite hungry so what not a midnight snack? Or maybe a drink and snack. I don't know why I was just randomly hungry or thirsty.

As I made my way throughout the dark Hall, my feet felt cold from the floor, as I passed by a window in the house, I saw the beautiful moon in the night sky... Does heaven even have a moon? Whatever.

When I finally reached the kitchen, I thought of a nice and steaming bowl of ramen, the comforting warmth and savory flavors. With soft noodles and some green onions sounded so needed right now. Just when I was about too open the pantry door I felt a presence behind me. I then looked behind me too find a Adam leaning over the counter trying too grab his plate of ribs. He looked at me in shock at first because of how late it is and I'm awake. And then he had a... Somewhat calm yet stern face. "What the fuck are you doing awake?"

"Hungry and thirsty. It was also cold in my room." I looked at him with a nervous expression on my face as he rolled his eyes and scoffed. "What are you about too make?" He got up from his seat and looked inside the pantry with me. "Ramen!" He slapped my face slightly and then grabbed the ramen from the pantry. He grabbed some bowls and put the ramen in with some water. He then proceeded to put the noodles into the microwave.

He sat down at the table and I sat next too him. I then realized something odd. Why doesn't the garden of Eden kids live here with him? He doesn't speak about them often. Nor does he seem too go into detail whenever he speaks about the story of Genesis.

"Adam. Can you tell me more about your kids?" I asked him with pure curiosity in my eyes. "Nah. They're not important." He immediately shut that down... "Please!! I really wanna know!!" I begged him. "No." "Then just tell me about Abel and Cain! I heard they are well known in the book of Genesis! But you always made me skip that part when reading the Bible." I was clinging on too him. "Fine... Let's speak about Cain. But I'll try doing this a little simple. I still think you're too young too know the full story." I smiled and clapped my hands with excitement. He smiled at this action of mine.

"I had a son before and... He used too be a lot like you. I helped find food but he had his demons too. And then we grew apart, then his light went dark." Oh... Holy crap this already sounds sad. "And so I thought. Maybe if I made a different call, maybe if I didn't miss it all. Maybe he'd be fine, maybe we'd unwind." I held a sad expression on my face as he described his fallen relationship with his son. "Maybe if I helped another soul. Maybe, if I helped achieve your goals. Like would be as bright, I could sleep at night..."

I shook my head and took his hand gently and looked at him in the eyes. "Adam. I don't know what he's like, but, my time with you has been splendid!! The best years of my life, 'Cause I have an amazing father, and amazing sisters no lie!! I've never felt so happy before, you're my dad and I couldn't ask for more!!" He looked shock for a moment. "And so I think... Maybe if life wasn't spent this planned. Maybe it's time that you lend a hand. I don't think he'd mind, if not his dad. Then mine!!!" "Maybe!" "Maybe to fall is to learn one way!" Suddenly the microwaved beeped causing both is us too jump. "Oh! Hey I forgot my ramen! But your ribs might have too be warmed up again."
"Ahhhh fuck..."
