One thing that Moana Blue hated about the Hunger Games, it was having to dress up for the press. Don't get her wrong, she loves dressing nicely, but she hated doing it for the Hunger Games. Dressing up for so many people to die, even maybe her. She hated that they made the tributes of the games into a pariah. But, she couldn't do anything about it, so she put on the sparkly teal corset dress with no complaints and got into the elevator to where all of the tributes for the Quarter Quell were.

"Hey, I recognise you from the last games. You were a mentor, weren't you?" Peeta asks Moana Blue as he walks over to her. Out of all of the tributes, he thought that she would be the easiest and best bet to become allies with in the games, well, from what Haymitch said. If he had any chance of getting someone to be allies with them, it would be Moana Blue and talking to her now was a good start into convincing her to agree to being their ally.

"Unfortunately" Moana Blue says with a sigh "It's nice to finally meet you Peeta. I just wish they were under better circumstances."

"Yeah, me too" Peeta says to Moana Blue with a small smile.

"Can I just say as well, I loved the star-crossed lovers act you and Katniss put on for the games" Moana Blue says, trying to compliment Peeta "I've never seen that in the games before, and I've got to say, I was very impressed by it. You guys had the Capitol rooting for you both to make it out."

"Act?" Peeta asks, trying to make it seem like it was real. While he did have feelings for Katniss before the games started, Katniss never reciprocated those feelings and as time went on, Peeta thought of Katniss more as a best friend than a crush. But even though there was no romantic feelings between the two, everyone in Panem thought they did, so they have to act like their in love and cannot tell anyone anything different.

"I'm a performer, Peeta" Moana Blue says with a smile "I can tell when people are faking being in love."

"Why do you think it's just an act?" Peeta asks, still trying to keep up appearances.

"You two don't look at each other like you're in love" Moana Blue says, with her eyes never leaving Peeta's "When it comes to love, it's all about the eyes, Mellark. Katniss gives you an awkward look, while you, well, you look at her like a friend would look at a friend."

"Pretty perspective there, huh?" Peeta asks with a nervous laugh, knowing that whatever he said would not change the fact that Moana Blue knows that their relationship is fake.

"Have to be to survive, especially in the games" Moana Blue says before noticing that Peeta looks uncomfortable "I love your outfit, I wish mine could be as cool as yours."

"I like your outfit too. You really suit blue" Peeta says, making Moana Blue laugh.

"I hope so since Blue is part of my name" Moana Blue jokingly says, making Peeta laugh "But I prefer my dress from the reaping. It was my grandma's so it's extra special to me."

"Is she in District 4 now?" Peeta asks, knowing it was a stupid question as soon as the words left his mouth.

"Only her bones, darling, only her pearly white bones" Moana Blue says with a smile before hearing Finnick and Crystal call her over to them "Well, Peeta, I think I have my cue to leave."

"Yeah, I think I should go over to Katniss too" Peeta says with a nod.

"Tell your fiance I say hi, by the way, oh, and that I'm also sorry about your wedding" Moana Blue says before walking over to Crystal and Finnick.

"Was that Peeta Mellark you were talking to?" Crystal asks, making Moana Blue nod her head "He's a handsome boy, isn't he?"

"I mean, if blondes are your type" Moana Blue jokes, making Finnick give her an offended look.

"I'm blonde" Finnick says, still being offended.

"Which proves my point" Moana Blue says with a laugh.

"Now, you two, remember to smile, okay?" Crystal says as the two District 4 tributes are getting onto their carriages "Smiling gets sponsors."

"Being pretty gets sponsors" Moana Blue says, rolling her eyes. She knew that the Capitol sponsors tributes they find attractive, no matter what age the tribute is; for example, Finnick. During his games, he got a lot of sponsors because the Capitol found a fourteen year old Finnick attractive, which Moana Blue found disgusting. Yes, it helped him stay alive, but it was only because they found a child attractive. It was very pedo behaviour.

"And to be pretty, you need to smile" Crystal says, making Moana Blue give her a disapproving look "I find it horrible as well, but you need to do what you can do to stay alive. Just trust me, okay?"

"I do trust you" Moana Blue says to Crystal with a nod.

"So big smiles and waves, okay?" Crystal says to the two "Also unity. Everyone loves the father-daughter bond that you have, so show that. We want to impress sponsors" She says as the carriages start moving out into the crowds of the Capitol.

"Oh, our favourite father-daughter duo" Caesar Flickerman says on National Television as he sees Finnick and Moana Blue appear "Finnick Odair and Moana Blue Baird, District 4. I cannot wait to see these two in the games together. A lot of people have said that they have a good chance of making it into the final two this year."

You okay?" Finnick asks Moana Blue, who nods in reply, as they get closer to President Snow, who glares down at the girl. Snow has always hated Moana Blue, for reasons she does not know. He didn't like her brother either. Her games was the only year that Snow had put a bet on, and that was for District 4 to not have a winner. So, Moana Blue tried to keep out of the eyesight of Snow as much as she could. But now, staying away from Snow might not be as possible as it was just a couple of days ago.
