Chatper 20
The usually cheerful boy, wasn't being himself today. All those who knew and talked to him noticed this factor. In past times, Youngjae would give the biggest smile, but today was a simple nod in acknowledgement then walking past them like they didn't even exist.
Of course he's pissed at Jackson and Mark. Is he being petty? Of course he is, the reason he got mad wasn't logical to not talk to your friends for two days straight. But he didn't want to be defeated that easily.
There were times when he was tempted to whip out his phone, texting both of his friends something amusing. Thus always resulting in him pushing the phone back into his pocket.
He didn't want his friends to set him up with a male, he knew who he wanted. When they first started at the university, he saw this one guy and he always stayed in his mind from then on. Youngjae made sure he caught of glimpse of the man everyday, fortunately finding his name out later on. Jung Hoseok.
There were many red signs when Mark had exposed him saying he was Namjoon's friend, but you can't stop how your feeling unless it fades away.
Youngjae didn't wanna approach him. And even though Markjoon was ancient, he still couldn't find the courage to walk up to Hoseok. Not before, not now, and not ever...never ever.
Youngjae found out from his friend Jimin that Hoseok used to be in the art class, but in Jimin's own words, "Couldn't draw for shit." and was kicked out. Then later found remorse in the dance class, joining them pretty recently.
He had liked Hoseok for ages, but never express that to anyone, not even Mark. He just knew Hoseok wouldn't want to be with a guy like him, loud, obnoxious and annoying. But it didn't matter, if Youngjae saw Hoseok smile every time with someone or when he looked down at his phone, he was happy.
Youngjae was walking down the hallway, head down focusing on his phone not noticing the boy that was six feet apart from him, only until he smashed straight into him.
"I'm so sorry!" Youngjae immediately apologises grabbing the papers that had fallen, not glancing up to who had run into.
"It's okay, don't apologise." An all too familiar voice assured joining him to pick up the paper.
Youngjae froze in his spot, slowly looking straight forward to see Jung Hoseok giving him a beautiful heart smile. His eyes shift down, regaining his composure grabbing the rest of the sheets handing them to him.
"Thank you..." He pauses as if remembering that Youngjae looked familiar, "I'm sorry, but you look like someone I met one time. Do you, by chance, know Mark Tuan?"
"Y-yeah, he's my best friend. He dated Namjoon, I think you guys sat with us at lunch one time..." Youngjae summarises trying to sound like he couldn't remember, but he knew about that event all to well.
Both boys stand up and Hoseok clicks his fingers, startling the other male. Making the beautiful boy giggle at Youngjae's strange behaviour.
"Your name was...Young...Jae?" He guesses, making the other male smile and nod happily.
"Yep! Choi Youngjae, and your name was Hoseok? Mark showed us a photo of you, Taehyung and Jimin when he was dating Namjoon."
The sound of acknowledgment leaves Hoseok's mouth and he pats Youngjae on the shoulder. Youngjae, once again, freezes in his spot feeling his cheeks heat up slowly.
"It was nice meeting you, Youngjae. Hopefully I see you around more." He winks at him, then walks in the opposite direction from where Youngjae was walking.
He contemplated whether he should turn around and make an excuse that he had to actually go that way, but he didn't wanna seem desperate for Hoseok's attention. Thus making the boys walk in different directions of each other, going further away from each others grasp.
Youngjae felt like giving one last glance to the man, so gathering his confidence he turns around watching Hoseok walk down the hallway. As if sensing that someone was watching him, he turns catching Youngjae's on him.
Hoseok gives a big wave and starts doing aegyo while walking backwards. Youngjae laughs loudly, making Hoseok laugh in return as well.
Youngjae decides to wave goodbye finally and half opens the doors for the cafeteria, Hoseok then decides to run up to him before he enters the lunch area.
"Are you sitting with friends?" He asks a bit breathless.
"No actually, I was gonna get some food and sit by myself while looking at different fabrics for my fashion piece. Why?" He questions containing his excitement.
Hoseok smiles, linking arms with the younger boy, together both walking in the cafeteria.
"I'll be your friend today!" He cheers giggling after.

Yugyeom and Jinyoung were hanging out in the cafeteria discussing the upcoming assessment. The giant male notices Youngjae and Hoseok choking on his French Fries.
Jinyoung laughs at him not bothering to comfort him, continuing to eat his own food. Yugyeom starts coughing, slapping Jinyoung's arm to help him.
Jinyoung sighs and pats Yugyeom's back harshly, making Yugyeom whine loudly. He regains himself, trying to hint Jinyoung to look over at where his head was shaking to.
"Are you having a seizure?" Jinyoung asks sounding concerned but not actually caring in the slightest way.
"Youngjae just walked in with Hoseok." He states annoyed with his friend.
"I know that already, he does have other friends Yugyeom. And it's pretty obvious that he likes him."
Yugyeom watches the two intensely, not knowing whether to approach them or not. He goes to stand up, but Jinyoung grabs his arm pulling him back down.
"Leave it."
"But-"
"No buts, Youngjae can handle things on his own. You don't want him mad at you right?"
"No...but-"
"Yugyeom leave him alone, he looks genuinely happy with Hoseok."
"Okay..."
Yugyeom zones out from Jinyoung, watching the other two males interact with each other. One would whisper something into the others ear making them laugh loudly.
He smiled seeing how happy his friend looked at decided to let it go for now, reminding himself to ask Youngjae about it later.

Youngjae was intently looking at this specific fabric, he sighs not knowing if it would good on a suit. Hoseok leans over, resting his chin on Youngjae's shoulder.
"That one is nice you should use it."
"Really? I'm thinking of using it for a suit, I just need a model to help me..." He mutters more to himself then the boy beside him.
"I can do it if you want." Hoseok blurts out.
"Are you sure? You don't have to-"
"It's no problem! I'd be happy to model for you Youngjae!"
Hoseok phones buzzes in his pocket, he pulls it out and reads the notification. He frowns slightly, but quickly smiles at Youngjae.
"I need to go, I'll text you tomorrow." Hoseok gives a quick peck on Youngjae's cheek and bolts of the cafeteria with his papers.
Youngjae sits there astonished not knowing what to do. His fingers brush where his lips where, a bright, red blush creeping on his cheeks.
Yugyeom bolts up to the table despite Jinyoung protesting him not to, silently following after the younger male.
Youngjae opens his mouth to say something, but Yugyeom holds hand up silencing him.
"Spill the tea."
