Intellectuals
Fendiman:
Is my username stupid?
Jinyoungie:
What did I tell you today?
Fendiman:
You said my username is stupid.
Jinyoungie:
And what else?
Fendiman:
Not to bring this up to the group chat.
Jinyoungie:
And what did you do?
Fendiman:
Brought it up to the group chat.
Jinyoungie:
Bad, bad boy.
Bammiebamsurmum:
Dom Jinyoung come through!!
Yugyeom:
^ preach
Markypoo:
Practice what you preach, Yugyeom.
BB'sB:
What do you mean by that?
Jinyoungie:
You really gonna let daddy long legs make you submit to him?
Bammiebamsurmum:
I mean, he calls me daddy in bed-
BB'sB:
Bammie!!
Fendiman:
Daddy*
OtterJae:
I think I need to mute this chat sometimes...
Wtf?
Why are we talking about submitting?
Markypoo:
Yugyeom is Bam's babyboy and isn't doing anything about it.
OtterJae:
Should he be doing something about it?
BB'sB:
Youngjae you're a legend.
Bammiebamsurmum:
A skinny legend!
Imjb:
Youngjae how are you holding up?
OtterJae:
I'm actually done with all the crying now, I know my mum would hate to see me crying from heaven lol.
I was just wondering if you guys wanted to attend her funeral with me...
Jinyoungie:
Youngjae we would love to. All of us will be on our best behaviours, isn't that right Yugyeom and Bambam?
Bammiebamsurmum:
I pay my respects to your mother, I'll be responsible as frick.
Jinyoungie:
Nice job in censoring yourself.
You're proving your point about responsibility and respectfulness.
Bammiebamsurmum:
Stop with the sarcasm, I can see through you!
Jinyoungie:
Dang.
BB'sB:
When is the funeral?
OtterJae:
In thirty minutes...
Imjb:
WHY DID YOU MAKE THIS SO LATE?!
OtterJae:
I DIDN'T KNOW YOU GUYS WERE GONNA SAY YES!!
Jinyoungie:
DID YOU THINK WE WERE JUST GONNA DITCH YOU?!
Markypoo:
WE'RE YOUR BEST FRIENDS YOUNGJAE, WE'LL BE THERE!
~
Thirty minutes, it was a good time frame to organise yourself especially when you were in a rush to attends your friend's mothers funeral. Usually males get ready really quickly, but all the boys were waiting inside Bambam's apartment for the man to find the best shoes to match his suit.
Jinyoung was situated on Jaebeom's lap, his phone was out and they were taking silly photos making Yugyeom gag at them until he was on the floor from Jinyoung throwing a pillow at him. Jackson was sitting a couple spaces apart from Mark, the two in an awkward silence for a weird reason only Youngjae knew about.
Yugyeom stood up, sitting between the two wrapping his arms around both of their shoulders. The mushroom was blabbering about something Jungkook had told him yesterday making the two males less interested, instead staring into each others eyes.
The glaring competition was ended when Bambam exited his bedroom with his hands spread out wide. All five boys watched him weirdly not saying anything.
"Put your hands up for the mother father king!" He yells lifting his head up higher in a cocky manner.
Jinyoung's eyes shot down to his pink glittery boots, making him giggle and whisper into Jaebeom's ear. Jaebeom glanced down, a stifled laugh exiting his mouth.
"What are those?" Jackson asks pointing down at his boots.
"This is style my friend, you obviously have no experience in that department." He fires back.
Yugyeom cackles loudly falling backwards laughing at his boyfriend's words. They all start laughing at Jackson after and funnily enough he joined too.
Mark stood up and told them that they were running late, leading to the six boys sprinting to the car they had been asked to drive.
They arrived at the venue five minutes late, but Bambam had explained to the chauffeur that a king was never late and everyone had showed up earlier. The chauffeur rolled his eyes walking to the car, signalling the males to walk into the house funeral.
They spotted Youngjae straight away with Hoseok's arm wrapped around his shoulder in a comforting matter. Mark was to stubborn to admit it, but he was jealous of Hoseok, Youngjae was his best friend and he had taken him away from him.
Hoseok looked over at the boys smiling softly, he brought his unoccupied hand up to wave at them urging them to walk over to their friend. Jinyoung sped walked to the two, tapping Youngjae on the shoulder. Youngjae turned around making Hoseok retracted his hand so they could embrace each other.
Jinyoung's arms surrounded Youngjae in a comforting and somewhat safe manner. Everyone enjoyed Jinyoung's hugs, they were the ones filled with so much love you just felt at home in them. Soon enough, more pairs of arms wrapped around the quiet boy, it was silent when they hugged but that was okay. No one had to say anything when all seven knew what each one of them was thinking.
'Protect Youngjae.'
Tears were building up in Youngjae's eyes, so he squeezed his eyes shut hugging Jinyoung tighter. Jinyoung whispered comforting things into Youngjae's ear being familiar in how to comfort people making sure they are okay, it was his job to make sure everyone was alright.
They broke apart, but Youngjae didn't let go of Jinyoung. Hoseok watched Jae with sadness not knowing what he was going through, only knowing that he wasn't gonna be himself for a very long time.
Losing a parent is the worst thing in the world, you expect your parents to be there forever but this just shows that people shouldn't take what they have for granted. It was a message to those around him to cherish every moment they have with their mother or father, you never know how fast you could lose them.
Youngjae didn't know how to handle not having his mother anymore. It meant no more crying over stupid boys together, no more laughing at stupid stories told by both of them, no more 'I love you' every day and night when she messaged him...no more her.
He hadn't realised he was properly crying until he felt his chin touch the damp fabric which was Jinyoung's shirt. He tried to pull back to stop wetting Jinyoung's shirt but Jinyoung was quick to react holding him close not planning on letting go until the damp mark was not receiving tears to feed the damp mark.
Even though Youngjae was wetting his shirt, Jinyoung didn't mind. He had a new mission to accomplish; become someone for Youngjae so he could always go to Jinyoung if he needed him. He didn't want anything in return, only happiness to fill his just about lifeless body again.
Jinyoung always is gonna be like this and nothing was gonna change that. It didn't happen to him when he was growing up, he taught himself how to help others create a bigger bond with their families. It made him happy seeing families showing love towards each other, but just for a short period of time whenever realising that his own family was never like that. He took a deep breath, blinking his tears away and focusing on Youngjae instead of himself. It was a selfless action, might even to selfless to care about someone else's problems over his own...
But that's what friends are for right?
