SIMON WAS DRESSED IN HIS green Scouts cape as he hopped onto his horse and set off for the gate. Today, the Survery Corps will make it's way through Wall Maria in hopes of finding new information.

His horse was behind Hange's as he galloped through the city with his squad right behind him. Of course, like normal, civilians gathered and rooted for them to kick Titan ass. Simon gave them a peace sign as they all roared with excitement.

"That's Section Commander Simon!" The gray haired male heard a man say next to the female that was standing next to him. "I heard his squad is the best tactician team there is!"

However, he knew this wouldn't last long. They would cheer for the Scouts when they left. By the time they came back, they would spat hateful words and show signs of pity.

It was a neverending cycle. One that Simon absolutely hated.

"It's Captain Levi!" One of them squeaked. "They say he's like an entire brigade unto himself!"

"...Shut up." Levi mumbled in response, making Simon chuckle.

"Now, now, Levi. Is that how you treat one of your admirers?" He questioned as Levi's eyes fell onto him.

"If they knew how fussy you are, they wouldn't look at you with such admiration." Hange agreed with Simon and advised Levi to look a little happier for his admirers. Simon watched as the gate opened to give them access back to the outside world.

"The Titans are right outside... What kind of Titan will we see this time?" Hange questioned with excitement. "It'll be so great if we saw an Abnormal!"

"We have one right here." Levi mumbled.

"Huh? Where?" Hange looked around as Simon sighed, knowing what was coming. Levi pulled Hange's hair to have them face him.

"Right here." He replied. Simon snickered as soon as Hange stared at him.

"You're supposed to support me, not laugh at me!"

"It's not my business. So why bother?" Simon questioned with a laugh as Hange let out a gasp.

"So rude, Simon!" Hange pouted.

"Open the gates and advance." Erwin spoke to his Regiment the moment the gates were fully open, and thus, Simon took off outside of the walls once more. His horse galloped through the open space as he took a deep breath.

"I'll never get tired of this." Simon mumbled with a small smile.

"Mhm! The outside world is fantastic and beautiful, full of mystery." Hange agreed. "But you know what would be even better?"

"...Capturing a Titan?" Simon asked with a dead panned look.

"Hah... Simon, you know me so well." Hange took a breath and gave him a smile. Levi gave a sigh of annoyance, which caught Hange's attention

"Imagine having a Titan in the walls! Kyaahhhh~!"

"They're doing it again..." Simon muttered as he sighed.

"Are you really that surprised?" Levi questioned as Simon snorted. Erwin set the troops to the Wall.

Simon swung through the broken-down houses and went to the Titan's head for the nape. His gear ran towards the nape as he slashed the Titan dead. He headed towards another Titan and killed that one as well. He glanced over to see some of his cadets doing their job, some even teaming up to take down a titan.

This was one of the main reasons why Simon loved being apart of the Survey Corps. He was doing something to change humanity. He swung himself back to his squad and made the finishing blow to the Titan.

"Thanks, Section Commander." One of his cadets said as Simon just nodded at them.

"Let's go further, see what we're up against." Simon ordered as headed forward with his squad following behind him. He looked around to see more Titans, about five of them.

"Five more Titans, three in the east, two in the north!" Dillon informed.

"Rach, Rin." Simon glanced at two females. "You take the north. Ollie, Dill, come with me to the east."

His squad nodded as Rachel and Alastrine went to the north while Simon, Oliver, and Dillon went directly for the Titans in the east.

There was a tactic on what Simon, Oliver, and Dillon always did when there was more than one Titan in their radar. Oliver gets the eyes of each Titan, Dillon gets one of the legs, and Simon slices the napes of each one.

Simon called it 'Faceless.'

Hange seemed to like the name. Levi didn't really care and neither did Erwin.

"Faceless." Simon muttered as Oliver and Dillon did what they were supposed to do. Simon did the same, and felt the Titan's blood splatter against his cloak and the screams of the Titans. All three of them collapsed as Simon landed on the ground.

"The titans in the north are dead." Alastrine informed as she came in with Rachel right behind her.

"My, isn't the sound of a Titan falling to the ground music to your ears?" Simon asked with a smirk.

"Not really..."

"I love the feeling of my blades slashing against their napes. Ah, what a rush of adrenaline." Simon continued as he did a slashing motion with his blade.

"Section Commander..." Oliver sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Did I mention I love my job?" Simon asked as he chuckled.

"You're a sadist, Section Commander." Alastrine commented.

"Why thank you." Simon smiled at her.

"I see you're having fun." Simon heard Erwin chuckle. He turned and laughed at him.

"I love what I do, is that bad?" Simon questioned.

"No, but unfortunately, I'm gonna have to cut this expedition short." Erwin replied.

"Eh? That's new, how come?" Simon asked as he watched Erwin's skin turn pale. He watched as his face grew stern and serious. He was never serious unless something horrible happened.

"...It happened again." Erwin answered. Simon froze up in place, knowing what he was talking about.

"Don't tell me... Wall Rose has been breached?" Simon's body was shaking at this point. Erwin blinked, he looked shocked to see his reaction. The face told him that it was a possibility.

"I hope not, a swam of Titans moving north is bearing down on the city in Trost District. Something's happening there." Erwin shook his head. Simon turned pale.

"Find Levi and inform him, I will catch up with you soon." Erwin commanded as Simon nodded his head before turning to his squad.

"Let's go." He ordered before jumping onto his horse that Erwin gave him and took off to find Levi. He finally found him. He saw Levi and Petra hovering of what looked like a wounded soldier.

"Levi!" Simon pulled his horse to a stop. Levi looked at him.

"What?"

"We are pulling back, right now." Simon informed as Petra stood up.

"Right now?" She asked.

"Yes."

"What the hell? We can still pursue further." Levi wasn't too happy. "Don't tell me my men died for nothing." His gaze darkened. Simon clenched the reins of his horse.

"A swarm of Titans are running around in the city, over in Trost District." Simon informed as he watched Petra turn pale.

"Y-You don't mean..."

"It's deja-vu..." Simon nodded his head. "...It's just like what happened five years ago. Now come on, Erwin's waiting." Simon turned his horse before running back to the supply station for the fall back.

The route back was full of anxiety. Simon felt without the Survey Corps, Trost District will witness the same thing that happened with Shiganshina. Simon charged forward and the entire ride back was silent.

"Should you see any Titan in the city, anniliate them." Erwin instructed.

The more they got closer to the city, the more the atmosphere changed. Simon felt as though something was wrong, and he was correct.

Titans were crawling all over Trost District, there was a huge hole.

Trost District had been breached.

Anger wield up inside of Simon. He activated his gear and charged forward.

"Section Commander!" Oliver shouted.

"Damn. He's always so reckless." Levi activated his gear and followed Simon.

"All Scouts, charge!" Erwin screamed as the Scouts charged towards the Titans. Simon went ahead and killed two Titans in a row. Titans tried to grab him but he sliced their fingers, trailed to their arms, and sliced their eyes. Simon hopped onto the head of one of the Titans.

"Don't worry, monster. Your life will be over soon." Simon mumbled before lifting himself up in the air and cutting the Titan's nape. Simon lost count of how many Titans he killed, even teaming up with Levi on a few of them.

In the distance, Simon saw a 15 meter Titan carrying a boulder. Oliver landed next to him. "Section Commander, you don't thinkβ€”" He began.

"Yeah." Simon knew what he was about to say. "That's no ordinary Titan. There's someone inside."

He saw that the Titan has covered up the hole in the wall with the boulder.

Simon flew down to see Armin trying to pull Eren out of the nape. "Cadet Arlert, you want to tell me what's going on here?" He questioned.

"I'll explain later! Just please help me get him out!"

Mikasa and Rico, a Garrison soldier, made their way to the two. "We'll have to cut him free." Simon informed.

"Wait!" Mikasa argued.

Simon used his blades to slash the flesh as Armin and Eren fell off the Titan.

Simon made his way down and saw that two Titans had appeared. He took out his blades and was prepared to slice them when a blue line sped down and quickly slice the two Titans.

"About time he shows up." Simon thought. "Fucking show off."

"It's about time you help me, shorty." Simon stated as Levi just glared at him.

"Hey, brats. What's going on here?" Levi asked.

"I need you and Levi to come with me to question Eren Yeager." Erwin stated to both Simon and Levi.

"Because him and I are one in the same, right?" Simon questioned.

"Well, yes. You might get more answers out of him. We must leave to get to the court house in Sina." The three of them made their way to the carriage.

Simon was nervous. Before now, he thought that he was the only living Titan shifter that the Survey Corps had to deal with.

"Don't look so worried." Levi told him.

Simon sighed. "I can't help it. Levi, what if this clashes with me, as well? We've kept my secret for so longβ€”"

"It won't." Levi countered. "Trust me."

Making their way down to the dungeon, Simon stopped. "Let me speak to the kid, Erwin." He spoke up.

"I don't see the problem. You're more experienced with what's going on with him." Erwin said.

They continued walking. "Levi, don't be to harsh, alright? He's just fifteen." Simon told him.

"Tch, fine."

Simon had his arms crossed as Eren opened his eyes. "Good you're finally awake, Eren. We need to ask you some questions." Simon began.

"That's... Section Commander Simon. What's he doing here? And what does he mean by we?" Eren thought, noticing Erwin sitting in a chair with Levi leaning up against the wall.

"Commander Erwin, the head of the Scout Regiment and Captain Levi are here as well?"

"Where... am I?" Eren questioned.

"Let's call it a dungeon." Erwin replied. "You're currently in custody of the Military Police."

Erwin held a key up, which made Eren widen his eyes with shock. "Where'd you get that key?" Eren asked.

"Off of you. You'll get it back, don't worry. Now, let's talk home. Specifically, the basement that holds the power of the Titans." Erwin said.

"That's what Dad said anyway." Eren stated.

"It must suck having your Dad and your memory missing. Unless, of course, that's a cover story." Levi spoke up.

"Levi, shut the fuck up before I decide to shove my foot up your ass. He has no reason to lie." Simon informed as Eren shivered.

"How does Section Commander Simon get away with talking to him like that? From what I heard, everyone is too afraid to speak to him like that." Eren thought.

"Eren, how about you tell me your true intentions?" Erwin questioned as Eren looked confused.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"If we pay a visit to your dad's basement, we have to venture back into Shiganshina. Sealing the breach there as we did in Trost would be a good idea, don't you think?" Erwin questioned.

"Naturally, we'll need your Titan abilities. A Titan deciding our fate. It's been decided that the Colossal and Armored Titan are more or less the same as you." Erwin continued. "It's why I ask your intentions. They could be the key to destroying the Titans."

"Answer up, you piece of crap. What do you want to do?" Levi asked.

Eren made a weird grin. "I want to become a member of the Survey Corps and just slaughter the Titans!" He replied.

"Oh? Not bad." Levi made his way over to the cell, placing his hands on the bars. "Erwin, I'll take responsibility for him. Convey that to the brass. It isn't that I trust him. If he betrays us or loses control, I'll kill him on the spot."

"They shouldn't complain. Because only I can do it."

"For the record, Eren. Out of everyone who will be in that court room, I'm the one who empathizes with you." Simon cut in.

"Huh? What makes you say that?"

"Because I'm just like you. A Titan shifter is what we are called." Simon responded as Eren's eyes widened.

"Only myself, Erwin, and Simon's squad know about it, and now you. Don't endanger Simon more than you might already have." Levi added.

"Then how comeβ€”"

"I haven't used my Titan form in years. The first and last time I used it, I couldn't save the people I cared about." Simon interrupted.

"With that being said, I accept your request. You can join the Survey Corps."
