LEVI WALKS UP FROM BEHIND Erwin on the wall. "Erwin, he's gonna climb up." He informed, referring to the Armored Titan. His hands and feet harden before he sprinted towards the inner gate, digging his foot into the wall.

Erwin turned back to address the Scouts. "All troops! Avoid clashing with the Armored Titan!" He ordered as Reiner started to climb his way up the wall. "Stay away from him!"

"Roger!"

"Hange-san, why didn't he signal to attack? What's he thinking?" Eren asked.

"He's watching the enemy's movements. Because Reiner and friends prepared some sort of grand welcome for us." Hange replied.

"That quadrupled type down there is an Intelligent Titan." Erwin spoke as Levi and Armin looked at him with shock. "No, there might even be others."

The Beast Titan raised its fist and smashed it down onto the dirt, letting out a roar.

Not a moment after, the small Abnormals from the rows started to run towards the walls.

"They're moving! Multiple two-to-three meters approaching!" Hange shouted out.

Reiner was near the top of the wall, Armin turns to Erwin.

"Commander! The Armored Titan is close! And we still don't know where Bertholdt is!" He informed.

"Yeah, I know." Erwin responded but stayed silent after. Soon, his head shot up.

"Are you finally ready to say something? I could've had breakfast during the wait." Levi stated bluntly.

Erwin then turned around. "Dirk Squad and Marlene Squad! Protect the horses at the gate with Klaus Squad!" He then turned and raised his sword. "Levi Squad and Hange Squad! Take down the Armored Titan! Employ the Thunder Spears at your own discretion! Achieve your objectives whatever it takes! This moment! This battle! The survival of humanity depends on it! Once more, for humanity... give your hearts!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Wait! Levi, Armin!" Erwin called out, stopping Levi and Armin in their tracks. I did say Levi Squad, but I need you to stay, Levi."

Levi turned around fully. "To protect the horses and not Eren?" He questioned.

"That's right. And to strike him down when the chance comes." Erwin then turned to Levi. "You're the only one I can entrust to take on the Beast Titan."

"Understood." Levi replied. "Since I failed to kill that armored brat earlier, I'll make up for it with the Beast Titan's head."

Josiah looked forward to see another explosion occurred, knowing that Eren had transformed and thinking about what happened before.

"He wants to use Eren as bait?" Hange asked.

"Yes, those were Commander Erwin's orders." Armin confirmed.

"He'd resort to using Eren as bait just to protect the horses?" Hange questioned in disbelief.

"You're kidding... And what if Reiner chooses to kill the horses anyways?" Mikasa asked.

"Considering it's Eren they're after, Reiner would most likely chase him." Josiah answered.

"Josiah is right. If Reiner does go after the horses, Eren will keep going and wrap around behind the Beast Titan. With Levi, the Scouts, and Eren, they can pincer and fight the Beast Titan. Erwin must have said that, right?" Hange questioned.

"Yes." Armin confirmed.

"Even if it doesn't go as planned, by having Eren flee like that, it'll confuse the enemy enough to break their ranks. It all depends if Reiner can see that far ahead." Hange stated.

Eren thought back for a moment. "Knowing him, I bet that he will." He informed.

"All right! We'll take on the Armored Titan in Shiganshina!" Hange announced as everyone began moving out.

"Hold on!" Armin called out, extending his hand out. "There's one more thing I'm worried about. Bertholdt is still in hiding somewhere. The last time they fought, Eren had Reiner on the verge of defeat, but... Bertholdt's attack caught him off guard and he ended up their captive. It's a simple counter-strategy, but let's fight away from the walls."

Everyone watched with thunder spears in hand as Eren and Reiner began fighting in Titan form. Reiner grabs Eren's ankle and swings him into a building.

Josiah landed on a rooftop. "Hange-san!" He shouted.

"Not yet! Everything rides on the first attack!" Hange informed. "Wait and trust Eren will give us a good opening!"

"That metal rod is your new weapon?" Eren asked.

"You could at least call it a spear. The Corps of Engineers really pulled through for me. Using technology keep secret from the Interior Police, that is." Hange replied. "I told them, basically, we needed a weapon we could use against the Armored Titan."

"Against the Armored Titan?!" Armin repeated in shock.

"Our blades were all but useless against the Armored Titan. As long as he didn't show an opening in his hardening, all we could do was watch Eren fight the Armored Titan from the sidelines." Hange explained as Josiah looked down, recalling how his blades didn't work against Reiner.

"It's true... We couldn't stop him taking Eren away even if we wanted to." Jean added on.

"Back then, if the Commander hadn't drawn a horde of Titans to him..."

"Thus far, the only attacks effective against the Armored Titan have been Eren's strangles and locks as a Titan. Also, we have high hopes for his "hardened punch" from recent experiments. However, the mission won't succeed with only those as our weapons. While it's important we plug the wall, more so than that, we must kill Reiner and Bertholdt, who are responsible for destroying the wall." Hange ranted on.

"So you're saying... you want us to stab the Armored Titan with those spears?" Mikasa asked.

"It's easier just to show you." Hange replied. "Let's step outside."

All of the Scouts covered their ears at the loud bang while having stunned expressions at the now torn down tree.

"It's powerful, as you can see." Hange said, picking up the thunder spear. "It's like a strike of lightning. Hence the name, "Thunder Spear." However, is it enough to bring down the Armored Titan? We won't know until we try. It's effective against normal Titans, but to deal a blow to the Armored Titan, it'll take a little more work."

Hange glided through the air. "Go now!" They ordered, causing Reiner to be alert.

Josiah followed Hange as he used his gear to fly towards the Armored Titan. At their signal, both him and Hange fired their thunder spears towards Reiner, aiming straight for his eyes before finally setting them off.

Jean flew up in the air with Connie, Sasha, and Mikasa were right behind him.

Jean fired his thunder spear, followed by Connie, Mikasa, and then Sasha as they aimed for Reiner's nape, the four of them then released the wire, setting them off.

"W-We got 'em!" Jean exclaimed. "It worked! The armor on his nape is peeling off!"

"R-Really?" Connie stammered.

"The spears worked!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Do it again!" Hange ordered, getting the attention of Connie and Sasha. "Attack again with Thunder Spears and finish him off!"

Connie and Sasha had horrified expressions. "Reiner..." Sasha mumbled.

"You guys! I thought you were ready if it ever came to this!" Jean scolded. "Let's do this!"

Sasha and Connie had a look of determination. All of them headed towards Reiner again as they fired the thunder spears at him once more.

Then, an explosion occurred.
