THE COLOSSAL TITAN STOOD UP as it raised it's hand, crushing some houses in it's way as the debris fell down. "H-Hey... Those houses will drop on us. You think one of those houses... is Eren's?" Connie asked. "Eren's house... is eavesdropping!"

Connie then began laughing hysterically. "Sasha, could you smack Connie?" Jean asked her as Sasha did so and smacked the top of his head.

"I don't think he knows our location." Mikasa announced.

"Yeah." Armin agreed. "He's making Shiganshina a sea of flames by scattering burning debris.

More debris came falling from the sky. "A-Armin! The fire! Your orders?!" Connie asked once again.

"Hurry it up!" Sasha exclaimed.

Armin thought back to what Bertholdt had said to him before he turned around. "Jean, can you take my place?" He suddenly asked as everyone looked at him.

"I just have no idea... what to do... I was wrong reading Bertholdt, and look where it got us. Jean! You're better suited for this!" Armin admitted as Jean was taken aback.

"The river! Move to the river! Everyone aboard Eren! Conserve our gas!" Jean ordered.

Everyone hopped onto Eren as Eren crouched down to the ground to avoid being seen by the Colossal Titan.

"Eren. At some point, we'll have to get Bertholdt's attention, but until then, don't let him see you." Jean continued on before looking towards Armin. "Armin. I'm all right at reading situations, but I'm coming up empty with a plan to get us out of this. In the end, we're all counting on you."

"Yell at him, Eren! Don't let Bertholdt get any closer to the wall!" Jean ordered.

Eren roared really loud, grabbing Bertholdt's attention. He stopped for a split moment but then proceeded to walk towards the wall.

"What?! That bastard's ignoring us!" Jean exclaimed.

"Hey! What now, Jean?! At this rate..." Connie trailed off.

"I know that! Eren! Go stop his lanky legs!" Jean ordered Eren.

Eren was now running towards the Colossal Titan at full speed.

"But still! How the hell are we gonna defeat him?!" Connie questioned.

"His gusts of hot steam make our ODM gear useless! Right?!" Sasha also asked.

"You don't think I know that?! But right now, we've got no choice but to try! We've gotta figure out his weakness!" Jean replied.

"I'll do it. You guys distract him." Josiah informed. "Connie, your Thunder Spear."

"R-Right!" Connie responds as he hands the brunette his thunder spear.

"Armin, we need you to observe him from afar. So quit your moping." Jean told him. "We gotta believe there's a way to beat him!"

"Now! Scatter!" Jean ordered as everyone used their ODM gear to get off of Eren. The two Titans began fighting as they watched the Colossal Titan completely annihilate Eren. Connie and Sasha were together while Josiah was with Jean and Mikasa.

"H-He's shoving him!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Go, Eren! Knock him over!" Connie shouted out.

The group watched as the Colossal Titan raised his foot and kicked Eren on top of the wall.

"Eren!" Josiah and Mikasa shouted in unison.

After observing to see if Eren was going to move, Mikasa spoke up. "Eren's not moving..."

"He's not dead! Focus on the monster at hand! That might have been pushing it too far... If we run at him without a plan, that's what happens. Unless... Unless we can somehow turn the tables on him, this recovery operation, all of our lives, and the future of humanity will be doomed! Having said that, I'm not about to sit around while we all get slaughtered! Let's go on the attack!" Jean shouted out.

As soon as the words left his mouth, everyone used their ODM gear to fly in front of Bertholdt.

"He doesn't know about the Thunder Spears yet! Connie, Sasha, and I will distract him! Mikasa and Josiah will strike in the opening!" Jean commanded.

"Roger!" They all yelled.

"Hey, moron! I'll poke out your stupid eyes!"

"You huge idiot!"

"You massive pervert lord!"

While the three idiots were taking turns distracting Bertholdt, he knew that both Mikasa and Josiah were right behind him, so before the two could activate their thunder spears, he blew out hot steam. The thunder spears Josiah and Mikasa were about to activate flew out of the Colossal Titan and exploded behind Josiah and Mikasa. The hooks of their ODM gear got removed from the Colossal Titan's skin, making them crash into nearby rooftops.

"Connie!" Sasha shouted in concern.

"Shit! Breathing it in burned my throat!" Connie exclaimed.

Josiah and Mikasa landed on the rooftop Armin was residing on.

"Mikasa! Josiah! You're bleeding!" He exclaimed.

"We're fine. A bit of sharpnel from the Thunder Spears got us." Josiah reassured the blonde.

"Thought of anything yet?" Mikasa asked.

"Huh?"

"Have any clues for a counterattack?" Josiah questioned.

"Not one..." Armin responded.

Another explosion was heard as Jean, Josiah, Armin, and Mikasa looked over to see Bertholdt was continuing to move. All four of them had their eyes filled with horror as they saw the Armored Titan was finally moving.
