Naturally as a Demi-God he isn't granted immortality but a very long life, but that changed when he saved the God's asses. Khai was sent on a mission and that mission saved the world from being damned from the wrath of Set. Everybody went crazy, a demi-God that was granted immortality by his grandfather, Ra. Ra even went to the point to making his great-grandson a God.
