"𝗛old on--I have go to the bathroom." You didn't actually neeed to go, but the way the girl on kaisers arm was glaring at you was becoming a little much. As if you already didn't feel out of place enough at the after party..all the girls were dressed to the fucking nines like this was some homecoming or prom--and you weren't. You came in what you'd been wearing to the game.

"You look fine, she's only jealous that you're with me." How did he know? "Grab onto my arm, she's pissing me off." He says with a smirk. How he knew that you didn't actually need to go to the bathroom is something you loved about him.

Latching onto his arm, you stare into his eyes. He leaned his head forward to stare down at you. The look in his eyes, you copy it--it was one of lust..and love. But you were both pretending, you were only pretending to piss some girl off.

Seeing her huff and slap kaiser's arm out if anger sent you and rin over the edge. You both try to suppress a laugh until she was gone, but once she was out of sight the two of you burst out laughing. "Shit──you tryna stay on my arm all night? That was fucking great." A part of you..wanted to agree? Was that weird?

No-no you just wanted to do it to get reactions.

That's not weird.

And the alcohol probably wasn't helping much either.

"Itoshi! Coach needs you." A teammate called him over and unconsciously your hold on his arm tightened.

"I'll be back as fast as I can, just--" he placed you down on an empty couch, "Stay here..I won't be able to keep an eye on you but I'll be quick, I promise." Even though you hadn't had much to drink, you definitely weren't sober. Even though you knew you could take care of yourself, you didn't mind how protective rin was.

"I'm fine, nothing's gonna happen. Go before your coach remembers something to be mad at you about." He nods before reluctantly leaving your side, before coming here he'd promised not to leave your side--there was two reasons but it was mainly because of one.

It was before you came to the party, right after rin had snatched you away from kaiser.

Rin couldn't quite pin point the exact reason seeing that scene before him had pissed him off so much. Was it because it was kaiser? Or was it because he was talking to you? Either way the combination of both angered him beyond belief.

Kaiser had never spoken to you before--and from what he could briefly hear from in the bathroom, he was inviting you to the party..it was odd even for him. He didn't like it.

He plays with girls, he toys with them until he loses interest. He sees it all the time. And if he'd set his sight on you next rin would do anything to prevent him from getting any where near you.

"What did he say to you..?" Was all rin could mutter out before he'd absolutely lose it. His head felt as though it was on fire..he knew he was overreacting but the burning hot rage that buried itself deep in his gut was telling him otherwise.

He never quite explained why he hated kaiser as much as he did but from what you'd seen and as much as you'd heard--you understood the gist of it..sort of.

"He talked to me for a sec, that was it." But that did little to put out the fire in his stomach. "He asked if I was going to the after party, then said he wanted me to go with him."

"Now he's just doing this to piss me off.." What he didn't know is that was partially some of the reason for kaisers actions..so his accusation wasn't far off. "Wait-wait you did say no right?"

"That I was going or to going with him?"

"Going with him..obviously. Please tell me you flat out told him no." If you didn't shut him down fully he'd never give up..not that he would even if you did.

"Course I did--I might not know why you don't like him, but whoever you don't like I don't either." Which meant more than half the school but you mean the people he genuinely doesn't like.

"Don't worry you'll be with me so it's not like he'll have the chance to talk to me."

But fate has a funny way of messing with you.

"Here." Someone handed you a red plastic cup in one hand, another cup in the other. And unsurprisingly, it was none other than kaiser. It was obvious he'd been waiting for rin to leave your side. As he only dared to come up to you the only time rin has stepped away from you all night.

"I don't take drinks from other people. Sorry." He nods and sits down in the spot next to you.

"I get that, no need go apologize sweetheart." He says smugly with his usual smirk.

"Mhmm." You inch as close as you can to the end of the couch, your thigh touching having touched his much more muscular one being more than enough physical contact. He was still in his soccer uniform, and you could see the ripple of muscle that crawled up and down his leg and disappeared under his shorts.

Fuck you shouldn't be looking at him like this. But it was nearly impossible not to stare. To tear your eyes away from him would be like betraying the gift of sight.

Yeah──no that's definitely the alcohol talking..

"Oh?" Shit he'd caught you staring.

You really..really shouldn't have been staring--now you look like an idiot. But unfortunately, he was undeniably hot.

And all things considered--this interaction hadn't been to bad, mildly embarrassing but for some bits of it you've almost forgotten your meant to hate him..but that was unfortunately short lived. Because when a certain someone has had to much to drink, he can say some things he may or may not regret in the morning.

"For someone so smart, you just can't seem to get it can you?" That was your first sign he was out of it. "God aren't you fucking smart." Now you reallyy knew he was out of it. He was making no sense. "I hate..--god you're smart....tutors are hot."

"Uhm.." Now he was rambling how smart you were?

And that..tutors were hot??

Your not even the drunk one and this was embarrassing like you were the one saying it.

Fuck, where was rin? What kinda trouble did he get himself into, though you didn't care what it was as you'd hear all about it when you got home later, you just cared how long it was taking. You really weren't in the mood to babysit. But until rin came back, you'd have to deal.

You couldn't quite leave the mess next to you alone could you? Even if you don't like him, he's clearly wasted. And judging from a the hungry eyes from each and every girl in the room, they sure wanted him to get off the couch and jump them.

You didn't know if he was just some sleazy guy who wouldn't mind if they slept with some girl they didn't know..but you didn't know him. So trying to push aside everything that rin has ever told you and everything that you've ever seen from him--you'll give him the benefit of the doubt and watch him until you can pass him off to someone else.

When rin stops getting chewed out by his coach..
