Corey by some utter miracle made it up the basement stairs, his entire body ached as he limped down the hallway. Seeing blood staining the floor leading up more stairs "fantastic, more stairs!".

"Dewey!" the sounds of screaming made Corey run up the stairs. He ignored the pain he felt as he leaned into the wall for support.

"Help! Police! Police! Help!" Corey screamed when Tyson gripped his shirt, his blood coating his flesh as he glared at him with such freight.

"This is your fault! You motherfucker! If it weren't for you we'd be safe right now!" Corey screamed when he was pushed down the steps.

Tyson punching him "I knew the second you walked into set this shit would happen! Some psycho in a mask running around killing people, you ruined everything! What makes you think you're so special! Huh you fucker!".

Corey's eyes widen when he saw the figure walking down the steps "Tyson behind you!". The man ignored his shout gripping his shirt and slamming him into the ground "huh! What makes you so special! That this bitch won't just kill you!".

Corey yelled when the knife slammed into Tyson's back the man groaning as blood left his lips. He screamed when he was thrown over the balcony his body smacking into the ground.

Corey pushed himself off the floor "damn it" he leaned into the stair railing climbing them quickly. His eyes widen when the wall moved and he fell into it he could hear the loud shouting of Jennifer.

"Behind the mirror, Dewey!" he ran fast "Jennifer!" the woman let out a scream as she ran her body colliding into Corey's as he grabbed a hold of her.

"Oh shit, he's coming Corey!" She held onto his arm so tightly it left marks as he helped her down the hallway. They looked and saw Dewey and Gale the duo both talking about the killer.

"Gale! Get away! Dewey!" Jennifer pounded on the mirrors letting out a frustrated shout, "damn it! Look at the fucking mirrors!". They screamed when ghostface appeared "get away from me, you asshole! You don't scare me! You're just a creep in a mask!".

Corey pushed Jennifer behind him shielding her with his arm as he looked at Gale and Dewey.

"Gale. The mirror's moving!" Corey let out a shaky breath as he moved back his back colliding with Jennifer as they smacked into a wall.

"Don't move Jennifer, stay behind me" ghostface grabbed a hold of there knife pointing it at the duo making Jennifer shout out "fuck you!".

Corey moved forward slowly keeping his arm in front of Jennifer "leave her alone, she has nothing to do with this asshole!". The mirrors one by one started breaking "Jennifer go! Get the others out of here! I'll be right behind you!".

The woman burst through the mirror making Dewey and Gale scream "go! We gotta get outta here before that creep kills us all".

"What about Corey! Where is he?" Jennifer pushed the two out of the room "he's psychotic trying to stop the killer! But he's a tough motherfucker, he'll be fine, we need to find Roman and Tyson".

Corey watched as the trio ran out of the room when the killer went to chase after them. Corey grabbed a hold of there ankle making them fall onto the ground. He grabbed a spare piece of glass off the ground pointing it at the figure.

He ignored the sting it caused his hand as he gripped the mask "there's no getting away this time asshat! There's no where for you to go, you can't get away with it, you're done for!".

The figure reached towards his hand trying to stop him but he managed to pull the mask off successfully. The air left his lungs as his eyes widened he couldn't breath as the glass left his hands, he threw himself back hitting the wall.

"This isn't real, please tell me this isn't real..." he looked at the figure as they looked at him "Corey, I would never hurt you... you weren't suppose to see me like this, you were gonna be safe from this all".

Corey let out a weak breath "it was you, you're the one running around killing people... I'm so stupid! I should've known it was you from the start.. how could I be so dumb". Roman reached toward Corey "you're not stupid, I made sure you wouldn't find out it was me, you were suppose to stay at the hospital, but the second you came here, I had to get you away from me, away from this all".

Corey moved back "don't fucking touch me" Roman titled his head slightly "I did all of this for you, all those people who treated you like shit I made them pay for it! You were always being pushed around, always being pushed into the mud. So I pushed them into the mud, I let them all suffer for hurting you, and those men who hurt you, it was beautiful watching you kill them, watching you realize you're not a piece of meat".

Corey pressed his hands into his hair "Jesus Christ Roman! My life isn't some fucking game for you to try and make perfect! I've spent years having people push me down...". He glared at the man in front of them "who cares if a few people got caught in the crossfire, I may have hated them but I never killed them, I didn't hurt anyone Roman".

Roman laughed lightly "oh but you did, I saw that look in your eyes when you killed those men, you enjoyed it, that feeling of knowing you took someone's life, it's a beautiful thing. You secretly enjoy that feeling, you crave for it".

Corey sighed "why are you doing this to me? I was finally happy, and you're ruining it all for some sick little fantasy of yours! I won't let you hurt anyone else, it's over Roman, let this go!".

The man sighed "I can't Corey, this goes far more beyond just you" Roman touched Corey's cheek "if you knew the truth, you'd understand why I'm doing this all of this. This goes back years".

Corey let out a shaky breath "tell me the truth! I want to know why you're doing this!". Roman stood up "who do you think gave Billy that push all those years ago? God that kid had some serious issues, he made his own little movie, and who gets the star role? Sidney fucking Prescott!".

Corey's face dropped "it was you..." Roman sighed "I gotta admit, I didn't know he'd go for you, then again I hadn't gotten to know you, not until you walked into my set looking for work. I am sorry you suffered Corey, this time I made sure you didn't suffer, I kept you safe, I even spared Tatum and Randy for you, you saved them and the world doesn't get to see that. God they made you a side character when you should've been the star! Let's face it, without you... Sidney would be dead!".

Tears slipped out of Corey's eyes "this is all your fault, my life is fucked because of you!..." he stood up off the ground "Casey's dead because of you! My entire life is ruined, I'll never be normal, I'm cursed and it's your fault... I hate you!".

He smacked Roman's chest harshly crying as the man gripped his face "I'd do anything to keep you safe from this every happening again, this ends when Sidney's dead, when you're finally free, the world will see you as the hero, you'll finally be the star of my movie, you'll never suffer again".

Corey let out a shaky breath "please don't do this, please don't make me kill you". Roman chuckled "I need to do this Corey, Sidney will pay for what she did to me! For what she did to you! We can end this together, give in to your desires, you know deep down you want to kill her too".

Corey shock his head "Sidney didn't do anything to me, she saved me and I saved her, I just wish you would let me save you before it's too late".

Roman grabbed the mask off the floor "it is too late, you can't stop me Corey, when this is done you'll realize I was right from the start. Everything I'm doing it's for us, I love you Corey".

Corey couldn't speak his entire body shutting down as Roman put the mask back on. The man left the room and Corey let out a shaky breath as tears slipped out of his eyes, he ached to run after Roman, to stop him. But deep down inside, he also ached to let Roman win.

Did I have a mental breakdown when writing this, yes... but that's besides the point, Corey knows it's Roman! Fuck part of me is like, let Roman win and they run off but that's not an option, at least not in this act, I'm for sure making an AU where Corey helps Roman kill everyone off or maybe they disappear and then they pop back up and start killing them then, regardless power couple! we only got like three chapters left of this act, I can't wait for the next one, Corey's gonna be a hell of a lot more brutal in the next act. I have the next 2 chapters prewritten so they'll be out soon!
