Peter, they were a quick rolling couple, dating for two months and marrying shortly after, many thought he was after the money that Henry had put aside for her in his will, but he actually wasn't. Peter talked all the time about wanting to start a family with Gwyn, but he knew his financials wouldn't be enough to start a large family like he'd wanted, so they held off on the idea.

as they made the return to Bly manor for a summer vacation in 1986, Peter had disappeared from the home, leaving Gwyn confused, until the next morning she went out back, seeing Peter's lifeless floating body in the lake.
