she and Charley were always thick as thieves, being the others 'alibi' if they got in trouble, or the other was sneaking out. none of that ever changed as they got older, it was just easier to hide because they had become adept to keeping secrets just *that* much better.

The night of the very beginning, Christine snuck over to the Brewster home, entering through Charley's bedroom window just as she had many times before to get him to provide a tiny lie to her parents incase they called to ask where she was, when she caught Charley and Amy making out.
