PERSONALITY

Atticus is your typical shy nerdy boy.
A Ravenclaw. He's very intelligent, and He knows absolutely everything there is to know about Star Wars and Marvel. If you get him talking about it- he does not shut up, so best not to bring up that subject. In typical nerdy fashion, he's never seen without his glasses or wearing anything other than graphic tee shirts. He's also known to point out random facts about random things at any given point of the day, even if sometimes they might not be true.. and he is a huge conspiracy theorist.
If there is one thing he isn't good at however, it's dating, and talking in front of large crowds. Just the very idea of dating makes him nervous and awkward, and he's never truly been the most confident around people, used to being pushed around by others when he was in high school, and he's been bullied more times than he can count. He's never dated anyone, so he has a lot of self confidence issues.
However, he's good at giving out compliments, he just can't tell when someone is flirting back and doesn't know how to take compliments back. He is a really kind soul, and if given the opportunity, he would take a bullet for anyone.
He's not very much of a daredevil at all, and definitely falls under the introvert category, preferring to stay in the comfort of home lost in his movies and books.

BACKSTORY

Atticus didn't grow up a celebrity, but his family was well enough off that they had enough to go around. His mother was a high school Anatomy teacher, and his Father was a well known Lawyer and Author. Funny enough, his father's favorite book was to kill a mockingbird, so that's who Atticus was named after, the lawyer in that book.
He grew up a fairly normal life, but was bullied heavily in middle school and high school, up until the day he graduated, he was the laughing stock of the school, and for some reason.. he never had the courage to stop it, just taking everything that was thrown at him, and taking all his pain into books. He took to writing, and his books became very popular, while his younger sister rose to be an actress, she's really the one that brought the family fame, not him. He was just there in the background, never caring much for fame anyway but fame found him.

Atticus got a near perfect score on His ACT, and passed all his AP classes. Plus he was a Boy Scout back when he was younger so he knows basic survival skills if that were to ever be a problem. But Need someone to solve a problem for you? Atticus is your guy.

He really doesn't know how to say no, but usually he performs acts of kindness on his own. If he notices someone down, he'll simply bake something for them, and leave a note. You won't see his kindness out loud, but it will be there in his actions.

Luckily for him, it's hard to tell that he isn't someone famous, since he prefers to blend in and stays in the shadows all the time. Although he has the money to dress nicely, he doesn't. Sometimes he still gets beaten up, or people call him names when he's walking home.

FEARS

>Being trapped/ Surrounded by people
One time he had to go to Tokyo for one of his books, and he caught the train during rush hour. Not knowing how bad it was during the time, people pressed up against him so hard he could nearly breathe. So, it made his fear of crowded spaces even worse.

He just can't do it. He can carry on casual conversations but the last time he tried a speech he threw up.
> Having to make the first move.
He's so awkward about it, every time he's tried it hasn't gone well. He just ends up stuttering over his words or rambling and making a huge mess and well..  people take it the wrong way.

Atticus is a peacekeeper, much like his father and if there is anything he hates it's conflict. He would rather just take the punches than have to deal with them himself.
>Losing someone he cares about or losing his job.
He really doesn't have many friends, so the list of those he cares about is very small, and mainly includes his family. His family means a lot to him, if something were to happen he would be beside himself. He also never wants to loose his job, it's part of the only thing that gets him going.

BIGGEST CONTROVERSY?

The biggest one that he's had is that he's struggling with his sexuality, which is why he comes off as so awkward and is the only one that can never seem to get a date.
The other controversy is that he doesn't know how to have any fun. He actually shut a party down himself all because he was "busy" and needed to concentrate.

All and all.. he's pretty basic and unproblematic.

THREE MOST ANNOYING?

> When people can't tell that he is trying to get out of a situation, when people won't leave him alone and push him into uncomfortable positions. No. He does Not want to go to that party, so stop pushing so much.
> When people are drunk.
He has a strong distaste for it, believes strongly that it only leads to bad choices and disaster.
> smoking.
He thinks it's gross and plugs his nose everytime he walks by a smoker.

THREE SITUATIONS WHICH..

Make them angry?
> some of his movies make him pretty angry, the way they ended
> seeing people go against the law, people getting hurt or killed. It triggers something inside him that he can't quite explain.
> the news sometimes. All it ever seems to be is negative for the most part. 

Super uncomfortable?

> when animals die
> seeing his sister in some of the movies she's in, because he's a big supporter of her.
> when his father wins a really tough case, and he knows that the person he supported was innocent, and their life is saved.

> when he is in the lab, or in the library he feels most confident because that's where most of his ideas flow, plus he always feels comfortable there.
> being at home, surrounded by family during holidays. It's one of the few times he's not.. afraid, and doesn't have  a stutter.
> watching his favorite movies. It makes him feel like he can take on the world.

FIVE THINGS LIKE IN PARTNER?
He doesn't really know, just someone that accepts him for who he is, and doesn't make him change. Someone who loves him. Someone  who is kind and caring. Someone who he instantly clicks with, someone he has something in common with, and knows almost immediately that he would do anything for him or her.

LOATHE IN PARTNER?
1.) overly controlling and pushy. He probably would let them push him around, but he would suffer.
2.) Anyone hot tempered, or anyone with anger issues, anyone abusive. He couldn't deal with that.
3.) Anyone too judgmental. He wants someone to love him for who he is. Not by what the other person wants him to be.
4.)Anyone quiet. That just wouldn't work out. He needs someone just a bit exciting, maybe for a bit of change.
5.) anyone who has zero compassion for the world. He knows everyone in the competition is rich in some way or another, and he is a strong believer in helping those less fortunate.
