Brinley walked around the drop site hoping to find something to do when she over heard Bellamy's voice, "If you're gonna kill someone, it's probably best not to announce it."

Brinley let out a chuckled looking at Murphy's death message, "If you stayed awake in a English class maybe you would've been able to spell." "Whatever, Brin. Don't you have anything better to do?"

The girl gave a small innocent smile, "Nope, but please continue." She gestured for Bellamy and Murphy to keep talking. Murphy gave the girl a glance before looking back at Bellamy, "You're not really a member of the guard, are you?" 

What gave that away? Brin thought. "No, but the real guard will be here soon. Unless, we stop it." Bellamy said putting his hands in his jacket pockets, "You don't actually think they're gonna forgive your crimes. Even if they do, then what?"

Bellamy was really getting in these boy's heads, "Guys like us, we're gonna become model citizens now, get jobs," "Way to be sexist about it." Brinley said as Bellamy gave the girl a look before continuing, "If we're lucky maybe pick up their trash?"

"You got a point." Murphy's friend asked. "No. I got a question. They locked you up, dumped you down here like lab rats to die. So why are you helping them?"

"The hell we are." Bellamy smirked, "You're wearing those bracelets, aren't you? Right now, those things are telling them weather or not it's safe to follow us down."

"Ok," Murphy cut in, "You said we could stop it. How?" Brinley shook her head, "Have you got nothing in that head of yours? Or does Bellamy have to tell you everything?" Murphy just looked at the girl again she was good at getting on people's nerves," What I'm being honest, you wanna know what his big plan is?"

"Oh like you know." Murphy shot back crossing his arms. "Yeah I do actually. If you were paying attention, you probably could've figured it out by now." Murphy crossed his arms, "Alright then enlighten us, tell us the big plan."

Bellamy smiled at the girl as Brin looked down then back up, "Take them off." A smirk painted on her face. "Starting with mine." The girl finished by holding her arm up in front of the three boys.

Bellamy finally spoke up grabbing onto Brinley's arm guiding her to the ramp of the drop ship while the others followed listening to the older boy, "The ark will think you're dead," He started breaking off Brinley's bracelet. The girl let out a small hiss, "You good?" Bellamy asked as he stared at her write that not had a few small holes in it. Brinley just nodded and picked up the bracelet the little light within the bracelet slowly dined to darkness.

Brin sighed, "And I'm dead." Bellamy nodded, " and now they will think it's not safe to follow.

"You follow?" Murphy nodded, "Right, and if we do, I mean, what's in it for us?" "Someone has got to help me run things." Bellamy smirked walking away from the boys and Brinley watched the boys from a distance.

"Hey, you know what I'd like to know? Why send us down today after ninety seven years? What changed?" Finn asked as the group walked down a hill in the forest.

Octavia huffed, "Who cares? I'm just glad they did." Octavia then grabbed onto a tree and sup around, "I woke up rotting in a cell, and now I'm spinning in a forest." Monty's curiosity got the best of him as he listed off a reason, "Maybe they found something on a satellite, you know, like an old weather satellite or-"

Asher snorted, "Or they just got tired of us." "it wasn't a satellite." Clarke cut in, "The Ark is dying. At the current population level, there's roughly three months left of life support, maybe four now that we're gone." The group went quiet as Clarke walked through them.

"So that was the secret they locked you up to keep," Finn asked, "why they kept you in solitary, floated your old man?" Clarke looked like she wanted to ignore his eager questions but didn't, "My father was the engineer who discovered the flaw. He thought the people had a right to know. The Council disagreed. My mother disagreed."

Zavia looked at Asher, "Shocker." Asher nudged girl. "They were afraid it would cause a panic. We were gonna go public, anyway, when Wells" "What, turned in your dad?" Monty finished for Clarke but she just nodded.

"Anyway, the guard showed up before we could. That's why today. That's why it was worth the risk. Even if we all die, at least they bought themselves more time." Clarke finished as Monty spoke up, "They're gonna kill more people, aren't they?" Clarke didn't answer but her silence answered everything.  

Octavia then jumped down from the landing she was on, "Good. After what they did to me, I say, float them all." Jasper tried to catch up to the girl "You don't mean that."

"We have to warn them." Finn said to Clarke as she looked at him, "That's what my father said." Clarke didn't say another word, she just stepped away slowly hitting into Jasper we looked star struck. "What Jasp? Cat got your tongue-" Zavia started but cut herself off when she saw Octavia.

"Oh, damn, I love Earth." Jasper breathed as Monty muttered, "Oh! Holy" Asher shook his head, "Really, now's not the time to be skinny dipping Octavia." Octavia just turned around a winked at the boy. 

"Octavia, what the hell are you doing?" Clarke yelled towards the girl. Octavia didn't care for anything as she ran and jumped into the water anyways. Sending the group running after her.

"Octavia!" Monty yelled at the girl, "We can't swim." Octavia smiled, "I know," Standing in the water, "but we can stand." The group let out cheers.

Clarke's smile faded as she looked around ,"Wait. There's not supposed to be a river here." Finn shook his head, "Well, there is. So take off your damn clothes." Asher smiled towards Zavia, "You ready." Zavia just nodded her head as the two took off their jackets, but were quickly stopped by Jasper.

"Oh Octavia, get out of the water! Get out of the water now!" The group looked to Octavia to see what was wrong. "What the hell- Octavia!" Zavia yelled as the girl was grabbed and shoved underneath the water by the some animal.

Octavia let out a scream as she was pulled underwater. Jasper yelling in response, " Octavia!" The group got quiet when Octavia was completely submerged underwater. Moments later she reappeared with a scream.

"What the hell is that?" Monty asked as the group moved locations to try and see Octavia better, "We have to help her. What are you gonna do?" Finn looked at the boy, "Try not to get eaten." Finn went to walk right into the water but was stopped by Zavia, "That a stupid idea." "Well, you got a better one?" Zavia nodded, "We have to distract it, maybe it will let her go."

Clarke nodded, "Good thinking, Here, help me." The blonde said reaching for a rock to push in. 

The group except Asher and Jasper helped drop the rock. The two boys watched out for Octavia. "It worked. It let her go." Finn yelled as Jasper walked closer to the water, "Octavia, get to the shore now!

Jasper jumped in to save Octavia as Asher stood by the shore to help bring her up. None of them knew how to swim so why all try drowning.

"I got you." Jasper gasped as Octavia tried to catch her breath. "It's coming back." Finn pointed out. Zavia shook her head, "Pointing it out doesn't help the situation."

"It's headed right for you, guys." Clarke spoke up.

"Come on. Come on. Keep going." Finn encouraged. "Okay." breathed as Asher grabbed onto Octavia as Jasper led her to the shore.

Jasper and Octavia fell against the rocks and the rest of the group joined them. Octavia keep muttering thankyou's to Jasper as Clarke tried to cover her wound.

"Note to self," Monty started, "next time, save the girl." The group let out laughs as they were all safe in the end.

Brinley watched the sun fade in the sky and the fire light up. All the delinquents circled Bellamy and Murphy as they started taken off the bracelets. They all cheered again once another bracelet was off.

"Who's next?" Bellamy yelled to the group. "What the hell are you doing?" Wells asked limping towards Bellamy. Mbege went to help Bellamy with Wells but Bellamy pushed him back, "We're liberating ourselves. What does it look like?"

"It looks like you're trying to get us all killed." Wells said, "The communication system is dead. These wristbands are all we got. Take them off, and the Ark will think we're dying, that it's not safe for them to follow.

Brinley wanted to punch Wells, could these people be anymore oblivious? "That's the point, Chancellor. We can take care of ourselves, can't we?" Bellamy yelled as the delinquents cheered back in response.

"You think this is a game?" Wells questioned getting annoyed at the teens. Brinley though it was a good idea to step in now. "Those aren't just our friends and our parents up there." They're our farmers, our doctors, our engineers. I don't care what he tells you. We won't survive here on our own,"

"I think we'll survive just fine," Brinley taunted as Wells just stared at her and shook his head, "if it really is safe, how could you not want the rest of our people to come down?"

Bellamy scoffed, "My people already are down. Those people locked my people up. Those people killed my mother for the crime of having a second child." The older Blake said walking towards the boy, "Your father did that."

"My father didn't write the laws." Wells defended. "No. He enforced them, but not anymore, not here. Here, there are no laws." Bellamy spoke as a few teens cheered him on.

"Here, we do whatever the hell we want whenever the hell we want. Now, you don't have to like it, Wells. You can even try to stop it or change it, kill me. You know why? Whatever the hell we want."

"Whatever the hell we want!" Murphy yelled getting the group riled up. Brinley walked up to Bellamy, "This is gonna turn out to be pure chaos, you know that right?" Bellamy nodded, "Yeah, and what are you gonna do about that, gorgeous." Brinley locked eyes with the boy for a few seconds before smirking, "Nothing."

That is when Bellamy Blake grew a liking towards the girl. Hell he's had an eye on her since they've gotten there but now he was falling, but Brinley wasn't falling back instead it was the rain that fell on their faces breaking there glances immediately. 

The teenagers started to yelled out of excitement, they'd never felt rain on their faces before. This was a new experience and they were gonna enjoy it like there is no tomorrow. Brinley spun in the rain ignoring the conversation coming from Wells and Bellamy.

Asher and Zavia had fallen asleep like the rest of the group had, after their long adventure they needed rest. Zavia stirred awake to the sounds of the forest. She woke up to see blue. It was the pretties light blue the girl had ever seen.

Zavia looked around to notice Clarke and Finn were gone. She got up and walked towards the light only to find the two standing next to each other, "What do you know? She can laugh." Finn said looking towards Clarke.

Zavia walked forward, "Of course she laughs it's not like she's a robot or something." The two teens turned their head to face Zavia. "God, Zavia you scared me." Clarke breathed, "What are you doing awake?"

The girl shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know. Could ask you the same thing." Finn just smiled, "Come on. You guys have to see this." He leaded the two girls up the small hill and pointed to the ground, "That's a toe. Plus, near as I can tell, whatever it is, it's walking on two feet. My guess, Monkeys."

"Pbbt! Ha!" Clarke laughed, "I'm sorry. It's just, according to everything I've read, there were no bipedal animals anywhere near here, certainly not monkeys." Clarke blurted out as Finn keep going, "Right. You read anything about glow-in-the-dark forests or man-eating snakes?" "Or two headed deer? Nothing about this place is normal." Zavia added.

Clarke nodded as she looked at the two. "Alright then, thanks for the fun trip, I'm going back to sleep." "Night Zavia." Finn called to the girl who waved at him.

The next morning came faster than expected. The group had been hiking since they woke up. They made it to a river. Finn had tied vines together to swing across. 

"You wanted to go first. Now quit stalling." Clarke rushed. "Mount Weather awaits."  

"Just hang on till the apogee, and you'll be fine." Jasper told Finn who looked over at Jasper, "The apogee like the Indians, right?" "Apogee, not apache." Jasper corrected.

"He's just messing with you. Come on Finn we don't have forever." Zavia pointed out.

"Alright, I'm going. Relax Via." Finn joked as Zavia squinted her eyes at the boy. "See you on the other side." "Wait." Jasper interrupted. "What?" Finn asked. "Let me. I can do it."

"You got this Jasp." Asher cheered the boy as Zavia hold onto his arm.

"See you on the other side." Jasper hummed before swinging a crossed. The boy let out a few cheers before he landed on the other side. Jasper recovered quickly, " We are apogee!"

The group of 7 let out happy cheers for there brave avenger. "Let's go, Princess. You're up." Finn said bring her up to the top rock. Asher and Zavia smiled towards each other as Zavia leaned her head against Asher's bicep. " I wonder how Brin's doing?"

"Brin, is probably doing great. This is Brin we're talking about." Asher said assuring the girl. "Yeah. Your probably right." "Hell yeah I am."   

"We did it!" Jasper yelled from the other side, "Mount Weather! Whoo! Whoo!" He yelled holding up the sign. "Yes!" Monty smiled. "Whoo!"

"Yeah, Jasper!" Asher yelled as Zavia grinned. In that moment everything seems perfect and when everything went well something always went bad. With in seconds a spear was throw right at Jasper sending him backwards.

The group went quiet in shock not knowing what to say and dare move. Zavia's finger tip were digging into Asher's arm, but he didn't mind as long as he knew she was by his side.

"Jasper." Clarke yelled after the boy. "Come on. Come on." Finn begged holding onto Clarke trying to pull her away. "Get down. Get down." The boy urged. Asher pulled Zavia outa shock and below the rocks with the rest of the group.

"We're not alone." Clarke breathed out. Zavia looked towards Clarke, "No shit."
