Eska has the ablties to distort ligh, which allows her to do several things, such as turn things invisible, cause small illusions, and of course create lights of all colours, which is rather useful considering her chronic fear of the dark. She has quite good control of her powers when it comes to the smaller things, but larger spells require a lot more concentration and effort than she's able to give. It probably doesn't help that she has no use in using her powers unless it suits her.

||Personality||
Eska is a joker. She likes to hide behind a facade of jokes and laughter, often using her sarcasm to distract from anything else that's going on. Actually admitting what's going on inside her head or admitting that she has feelings at all isn't something Eska is very good at. Her emotions are meant to be kept to herself, and she likes it that way. Humour is the perfect way to keep people at arms length. She is always down for a laugh, and can be a bit of a disruptive influence at times, especially in class. You see, Eska finds it incredibly hard to concentrate. When things bore her, she is incapable of forcing herself to pay attention or try at all, which often leads to her slacking off and getting into trouble. Hey, it's not like she can help it! Despite her numerous flaws and inability to confront her own emotions, Eska genuinely likes helping people. It's probably more of a hero complex than actual desire to help, but her motivation is irrelevant. She is more than happy to throw herself into dangerous or risky situations for people she trusts, because she doesn't see what there is to lose. Life is for living, and she hates the idea of spending hers inside a glass box. She wants to get her hands dirty and truly feel before her parents usher her away and force her to settle down.

Eska was raised with one intention and one intention only: she was to rule. It was a small kingdom, yes, nothing of note to most people, but to her parents it was everything. So she was brought up constantly being told her future. She was to be responsible and keep her kingdom safe from those that wanted to harm it. What her parents didn't realise is that they weren't bringing her up to love her country, they were bringing her up to despise it. She hates it and the shackles it promises her. How is she supposed to take care of a kingdom, no matter how small, when she can barely take care of herself?
