SIX.

THE NEXT DAY IT WAS THE NATIONAL CHEER OFF. Addison couldn't wait to finally become an alien. "Those symbols. That's the alien language."

"The Seabrook Cup. Of Course! That must be where my grandma hid the map to utopia! The aliens have to win or I do."

The aliens were looking at the Seabrook Cup hoping it could lead them to utopia.

"Oh, yes. She is beautiful. Too bad you'll be too nervous to win her when the pressure is on" Bucky taunted.

"I look forward to being nervous."

"Eat my stardust, Seabrook. Did I correctly talk trash?"

The aliens smiled and walked off.

"Farewell sweet bling" Bucky picked up a luma lens and held it against his face. "What do we have here?" As the luma lens glowed and shot a beam of light at his forehead, causing his head to fall back for a bit. A minute later, he focused back on the item in his hand "What do we have here?"

Wyatt, Kenzie, Willa, and Wynter walk down the aisle and see Bucky messing with the luma lens repeating the same thing over again.

"What's going on with him?" Wynter asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked at Bucky. "Is there something wrong with him?"

Kenzie scoffed. "It's Bucky. Of course, there's something wrong with him. I can give you a list of all the things he needs to work on." She went towards the stage with Wyatt, Willa, and Wynter following.

Kenzie snatched the luma lens out of Bucky's hand, he tried to get it back but she growled at him causing him to raise his hands in defeat and backed away.

"What is it, Kenz" Willa asked, moving to look over Kenzie's shoulder. "What does it do?"

"Well, from what I seen it can change someone's grades, alter gravity, probe minds, and bunch more. We need to find out what those aliens are really doing here." She ordered. "Wynter, go track down the Eliza-bot. I think this is a job for her."

The competition had just begun by the time it took to round up everything Eliza asked for in order to try and hack into the alien technology. Given there weren't any ports to plug into, the next best thing to try was to hook the luma lens to Eliza's machine with the car jumper cables.

"It's been an exciting evening at the National Cheer Off."

"We discovered alien life this week, but the big question in the universe is who will win the Seabrook Cheer Cup?"

The Eastside Eels started first on their performance. "Oh, the Eastside Eels are really bringing it!"

"Now, remember - this priceless thingy is mine!" Bucky told the wolves around him, unwavering in his obsession with the luma lens. "So tell me what it is! Now! Now! Now!"

"Seriously. Bucky you're even worse than Zoey and she's a child!" Kenzie said in annoyance.

"So catty," Wynter muttered, eying Bucky. "Clearly not raised by wolves."

"I bet I'm the first intern to hack alien tech,"Eliza then said excitedly. She started typing furiously, trying to find everything she could, only to frown when she couldn't get in. "It's a firewall."

"Let me try my moonstone," Wyatt then said, knowing how their necklaces bothered technology. Wyatt pulled his off and gently typed in against the Luma Lens for only a moment, causing both the stone and lens to let out trills.

"It worked!" Eliza said excitedly. She instantly dug through the files. "Like Kenzie said - its a mind probe. I can see all the memory files."

They looked at small images then conjured, each one depicting Bucky at some point or another. Kenzie recognized many pep rally, cheer camp from last year, and the football game that he'd been at.

"Look at all those people thinking of me" Bucky said brightly, feeling extremely flattered.

"That's just your mind scan, Bucky." Eliza and to inform him.

The next set of memories belonged to the Great Alpha. It flashes with her happiness with her deceased mother and the friendship she had with Wynter, growing up with Zed, Zoey, and their dad, and Wyatt. A lot more than she originally thought.

Eliza, while smirking, chose a different file - sure, it was difficult given the fact it was titled in an unfamiliar alien language and didn't know whose it was before opening it, so they've to keep looking until they found what was needed. The next file displayed multiple memories that was mix between the pack, his sister, and Kenzie.

Kenzie awed at the fact that Wyatt was always thinking of her until one of the memories contained the conversation he had with Willa, a couple of days ago.

"Wyatt, you need to tell Kenzie that she's your mate and that the moon chooses you two to be together. Even Elder Willow knows you two are meant to be just from how in love you two are." Willa, playfully hitting Wyatt's shoulder.

"How can I? She had a million things on her plate, and you know how she is. She doesn't want her future to already set for her. I will tell her when the time is right." As soon as Kenzie turns the corner, Wyatt can already sense she's near.

"Well, if isn't my little moonshine," Wyatt said, grinning wrapping his arms around her waist. Kenzie wrapped her arms around his neck as Wyatt placed a kiss on her cheek

It flashes to the day Wyatt realized that Kenzie would forever be his mate.

Kenzie and Wyatt were in the wolf den just laying in Kenzie's bed after the picnic date when it began to rain so they had to end the date early.

Everything was perfect, them just talking about everything that had been going on in their lives. Wyatt couldn't help but look at Kenzie's face as it lit up anytime she talks about her family and how her werewolf side comes out. Till Wyatt felt some sort of gravitational pull that everyone else in his life was second, Wyatt knew he liked Kenzie but now he's certain he loves her to the moon and back.

He just doesn't know how she would respond to it.

"Wyatt, is this what you've been trying for me this whole week? That we are mates. And that the moon chose us" Kenzie said, as her breath shortened from processing the news. The Elders and the other wolves have been telling the Great Alpha, the history, and traditions they have.

Eliza selected a new file, and some memories of Eliza appeared. Almost as many as Kenzie and Wyatt as.

"Wynter?" Eliza questioned as she watched the memories featuring her. Watching Eliza from afar as she danced with another werewolf at Prawn, moments later it was replaced by Eliza showing Wynter her favorite spots in Zombietown. "Why does your mind probe so many memories of me?" Kenzie and Wyatt shared a knowing look forgetting about the whole mate thing for a second while Bucky is gushing like a little girl. "You have a crush on me?"

Wynter swallowed thickly, her cheeks burning as she had no clue what to say next. "Uh... I, uh... ya know, so, uh..."

"Enough with this mushy stuff!" Willa interrupted. They'd be there all night just so Wynter can confess her feelings. "Find out what the aliens are up to."

Eliza nodded and got back to work, sorting through the files quickly. Soon, she pulled up a memory of a woman with white hair wearing the same glowing masks that the aliens were wearing when they came to Seabrook. Even if her hair wasn't blue, it was clear she was one of them.

"This is Scout Commander," the woman reported. "You must find the most precious thing in Seabrook."

"The moonstone," Kenzie whispered in realization. Zed even called it 'the most precious thing' when the aliens asked about it.

"The aliens lied about their mission!" Wynter exclaimed in outrage.

"What?" Eliza asked, unable to believe it.

"We knew they were shady all along," Willa said, scoffing. "Who knows what else they're lying to us about. Bucky, alert the Z- Patrol"

Bucky nodded and took off running. "Help! Help! Z-Patrol! We need help!"

"Is it really necessary to get the Z-Patrol involved?'' Kenzie didn't want to say anything about Addison being alien.

"Yes, it's absolutely necessary, Kenzie. Who knows what else they are hiding about."

Kenzie took a seat with her family on stands watching the east side eels performing as she had absolutely no idea what side to take as she told everything to Zed, which he knew about already.

"The Eels look eel-ectric as they try to slither their way to victory, and that excites me," the only male judge said.

"Me too," another said.

"Me three," the first-ever zombie judge agree

The Necrodopolis family were cheering when Zed got a phone call. "Hello, this is Zed Necrodopolis."

"Hello, Zed I'm calling about your application as well as your sister, Kenzie is she around? Do you guys have a moment"

"Yes? We gotta take this." Zed motioned for his sister to follow him as the head outside of the auditorium.

"Yes. This is he. This is I. This is Zed Necrodopolis." Kenzie took his phone out of his hand and put it in between them.

"And Kenzie Necrodopolis"

"Congratulations to you both. You have been selected to our Exceptional- Student scholarship. And because of you two, we're inviting couple of other monsters to apply."

"Wow! All right. Well, thank you so much. All right. Bye- bye" Zed hang up the phone and picked up his sister and spun her around then put her down on the ground.

"We're going to college together!" They in unison.

Though there was a set of doors separating them, the Seabrook squad could still hear the anticipating cheers for the alien squad. But one zombie and hybrid, who managed to spot the Z-Patrol arriving outside, was determined to not let them take the stage.

"Up next, a team not afraid to get astrophysical-''

"From out of this world, give it up for the aliens!" the second judge interrupted to announce.

"Stop!" Zed ordered, running up to the aliens. "Do not go out there!"

"But we need to win the Cheer Cup!" A -Li said. Zed, Addison, and Kenzie were the only ones that knew the truth - they were in search of a map to lead them to a new home. "Our future depends on it."

"And winning tastes so good, Zed," A-Lan couldn't help but add.

"Z-Patrol is looking for you. They are not gonna let you compete," he revealed. They'd arrest them on sight.

"But without our map, we'll forever wander the galaxy without a home," A-Spen reminded him.

"Well, let's hope Addison sticks her landing and wins it for ya." Kenzie told them. The aliens looked back at the crowd that was cheering loudly for them, still waiting. But they knew they couldn't risk it, and Zed was right. "Let's go!''

The cheering died out when no one came on stage to cheer for. The male announcer quickly began to improvise. "Our extra-talented extraterrestrials are not taking the stage."

Back stage as the Mighty Shrimp were getting ready to compete. Addison lifted the Luma Lens up in the air and smiled happily that she finally found where she belongs.

"And on this planet, that means the aliens are disqualified," the other woman announced.

"So instead, next up is our final team, Seabrook's Mighty Shrimp!" the zombie judge announced.

"Addison!" Bree said, running up to Addison.

'We have to win the Seabrook Cup. The people I care about are counting on it."

Bree put her hand on Addison's shoulder for reassurance. "We will win, Addy. 'Cause we have you. Okay?"

[ play song ]

( ADDISON )
My head's been spinning around in circles
Just trying to figure out who I am
I've felt so stuck, like I'm caught between worlds
But now I understand
Why I, I, I've been feeling like a stranger in my-y-y own life
And I, I, I've been blending in for too long
But now's my time to shine

I'm finally me
I'm gonna shout it out
What's lost has now been found
Can't dim this light inside me
I'm finally me
No longer gonna hide
I'm just like dynamite
Can't hold me back, now I'm free

I'm stronger now more than ever before
Nothing can hold me back
I'm laser focused, confident and so sure
Leaving doubt in the past
'Cause I, I, I was feeling like a stranger in my-y-y own life
And I, I, I've been blending in for too long
So now's my time to shine

I'm finally me
I'm gonna shout it out
What's lost has now been found
Can't dim this light inside me
I'm finally me
No longer gonna hide
I'm just like dynamite
Can't hold me back, now I'm free

I'm finally me
Yeah, I'm shining so brightly
Can't dim this light inside me (no, no, no)
I'm finally me
It's my moment now, I'm free
Ready to make history
Now it's up to me to prove to everyone
We will rise to victory and be champions

I'm finally me
I'm gonna shout it out (gonna shout it out)
What's lost has now been found (has now been found)
Can't dim this light inside me

I'm finally me
No longer gonna hide (I never hide)
I'm just like dynamite (like dynamite)
Can't hold me back, now I'm free (oh)

I'm finally me
Yeah, I'm shining so brightly (let me shine)
Can't dim this light inside me (no, no, no)
I'm finally me
It's my moment, now I'm free (now I'm free)
Ready to make history

The judges were giving their verdict impulsively "The Mighty Shrimp win! The Seabrook Cup is theirs!"

Addison screamed excitedly while hugging the nearest cheerleaders, who were Bonzo and Lacey. Then she rushed over to the podium leading to the trophy. Shrimpy appeared while blowing on a bugle in celebration as an attendant grabbed the Cup and brought it near.

"Thank you!" Addison told him, taking the trophy proudly. It was certainly the heaviest one she'd ever won as she turned back to the squad and crowd.

"We did it! Yes!"

The pack ran out, and Willa spoke loudly for all of them to hear. "The aliens are liars. They've come to take what's ours! We should have never let Addison welcome in those outsiders."

As the crowd let out shocked gasps, Zed and Kenzie  stepped forward to defend the aliens. But Willa wasn't having it, even defying the Great Alpha.

"Step back, you two." Then she roared at him, flashing her fangs and claws.

"If that's how you wanna play, so be it." Kenzie flashing her fangs and claws as her eyes glowed with red veins underneath. She hate being on opposite sides of her pack but she had to do what's right.

It was A-Spen who spoke next, looking at Willa with a new sense of wonder. "So much passion!"

"Uh, she wants to rip your heart out,"
Kenzie reminded her slowly.

"She can have it," they said with a dreamy grin. Willa simply growled lowly at them in response, which evidently, wasn't an unwelcome action.

Then, Bucky tore the Seabrook Cup from Addison's grasp. "Give me it, Addison! You won it! It's mine!"

However, given that Bucky wasn't particularly strong, Addison easily got it back. Then they all watched in disbelief as she ran away with Zed and Kenzie with the aliens following.

"She's stealing the Seabrook Cup!"
Bucky exclaimed.

"Why is Addison helping those thieves?" Willa asked in disbelief.

"She's a traitor. Go! Move!"

The pack, cheer squad, and half the audience ran out of the arena and after the aliens.

As soon as they stepped outside, they were greeted with the mobilized Z-Patrol waiting for them.

"Freeze! Stay where you are!" they ordered, pointing their weapons.

"Beam us up, Mothership!" A-Spen demanded fearfully. "Now!"

"Wolves, attack!" Willa ordered.

"Use our moonstones!" Wyatt added.

"No!" Addison and Kenzie said together.

As the ship sent down a beam to get the aliens, pack members stepped inside. Wyatt, Willa, and Wynter, as well as the other wolves, all used their moonstone necklaces to intercept the energy and tamper with it catching the aliens before they could enter the ship. The ship let out a series of whirring noises as the three aliens appeared back on the ground, crouching over.

"Something's wrong," Mothership stated. "Critical systems failure."

Those in the crowd began shouting angrily at them. "Get those aliens! Get off our planet!"

But Zed and Kenzie didn't agree as he deactivated his Z-band and fully zombied-out, letting out controlled growls while scaring the crowd back. Kenzie joining her brother, growled and flashed her fangs against her own pack. And even Zoey turned hers off, joining her older siblings.

"Enough!" Addison shouted, running in between Zed and the wolves.

"Whoa!" Zed exclaimed after he calmed down and saw the veins fading from Zoey's skin as well. "You zombied out! You good?"

Kenzie followed behind both concerns for their sister.

"Yeah! I don't know what you're up to, big brother and sis, but I got your guy's back," she assured him. It shocked the wolves, as Zoey didn't even understand what kind of fight she was joining in on.

"Yes! Enough!" Willa snapped, glaring at Addison as she checked on the aliens. "This is your fault too, Addison. You let these aliens in, and they lied to us, they betrayed us.  You betrayed us! So you're either with us, or-''

"With them?" Addison interrupted, raising an eyebrow. "But I am them, Willa. I may be from Seabrook, but my grandma wasn't. I am..." Addison held up a Luma Lens she got somehow, making it glow a little. "-an alien!"

Then, she held out her arm and suddenly began to go through some kind of transformation, blue swirls moved around Addison's body, and by the time they faded, her hair was no longer stark white as it's always been. Addison was now dressed in blue and silver clothes and also had longer blue hair with a few white streaks scattered throughout. Everyone looked in disbelief.

"Addison is one of us!" A-Spen said excitedly.

"And she's amazing!" Bree added.

"You look great, Addy" Kenzie smiled

"Mom, Grandma Angie was an alien"

"But that's impossible," Dale said, shaking his head. "Missy, tell her it's impossible."

But Missy looked at him regretfully. "Dale, I'm so sorry," she said before turning to Addison. "I know, sweetie. I've always known."

"What?" Bucky asked quietly in shock, unnoticed by his family as he learned his grandmother was an alien.

"You lied to me?" Addison questioned.

"My parents thought that hiding was the best way to protect me. And you," she explained. "Grandma always called you her most precious thing."

"Wait. She said I was her what?" she asked, her eyes going wide.

As that conversation was going on, A-Spen was scanning the Seabrook Cup with their Luma Lens that A-Li was holding. But whatever they were looking for wasn't there. "No. No, no. The coordinates are not here. This is not the map.''

"That's because the map isn't a what," Addison said, rushing over. "It's a who."

It seemed they were both thinking the same thing. Addison held up her hand as A-Spen began to scan her. The Luma Lens glowed and let out a series of beeps, seeming to find exactly what it was searching for

"Addison is our map," A-Lan then said, looking at her in awe with the other aliens.

"The coordinates are in her DNA," A-Li said excitedly.

"Instrumomo!" they both chorused excitedly.

"You're the Scout's - your grandmother's most precious thing!" A-Spen told Addison.

"Yes! We found the map!" Zed exclaimed, jumping up and down.

He rushed to hug Addison, but now that she had the same Stardust Spark as the aliens, it ended with her delivering painful shocks to Zed's body. "Sorry!"

"Okay, let's figure that out later," Zed muttered, letting out a grunt of pain.

"But this is great! Now, you guys can record your coordinates and head back home. And Addison and I are headed to Mountain College together! I got in!"

"And I did too! We both found out earlier during the competition" Kenzie said excitedly, not being the first werewolf in college but also for being the first hybrid.

"That's great, Zed! I'm really happy for you, Kenz. You're making your mom proud" Addison said. She moved for another hug, but then they remembered it wasn't an option at the moment.

"But the map to utopia is dynamic," A-Li said, a frown on her face.

"Constantly computing new units to guide our spaceship. It's not just some numbers."

A-Lan nodded in sad agreement. "And since Addison is our map..

"She needs to come with us," A-Spen finished.

"No. No! You cannot take Addison,' Zed protested, moving in front of his girlfriend.

But Addison wasn't having it as she got back in front of him. "These are my people, Zed. They need me to survive." she said softly. Then she looked back at them, knowing what she had to do. "When the aliens leave, I'm going with them.
